Had an amazing meal this evening. Food is absolutely delicious! I would recommend 100% It is all plant based and my goodness the food is so fresh and well cooked. We went and enjoyed a glass of wine which is bring your own with delicious food, such an excellent evening

Fabuuulous Deli in Lanark with attentive staff who you can always rely on for great personal service. What better way to start a Saturday morning than with a freshly made fruit scone baked by Stuart (the proprietor) in his own bakery accompanied by a deluxe hot chocolate. Emily & Jack did a sterling job today taking the helm with confidence while Stuart was taking to the high seas. A treasure chest not to be missed!

What a find! Very welcoming and a friendly atmosphere adds to the experience. The background music was fantastic. Not too loud that it hindered conversation but added to the ambiance. Now for the food…perfect. Good sized portions, good choice on the menu and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be returning

Found this little gem for breakfast. Great tasty food and great value for money. Wish I had time to go back for lunch as the menu looked great.

A very scrumptious cream tea rounded off a very pleasant walk to the Abbey. the COVID safe protocols were very well worked out / organised. Food & Drink ordered at the window and delivered to your well spaced table. Well done all for making us feel safe & comfortable.

Nice cosy spacious cafe with comfy seating and reasonable prices although not a great selection of cakes and fancies.

Booked a table at the Inn on the Loch Restaurant (there is also a ground floor cafe), on Saturday. There is a very comprehensive menu; from Curries to Stroganoff via Balmoral Chicken and a range of Burgers. There was a choice of either seasonal vegetables (carrot, mange touts, carrots, cabbage) or salad and a range of potatoes: hand cooked chips, french fries, mash or roast potatoes. All was cooked excellently, the veg was crunchy not mushy, the chips appeared hand cut and at least double fried. The Balmoral chicken was tender breast with a layer of spicy haggis, it was then covered with what I would guess was the sauce for the mushroom stroganoff (a vegetarian menu choice). It was very tasty. My son had a burger also with chips accompanied with coleslaw and a side order of large beer battered onion rings. The overall portion size was very generous and my son had to request a doggy bag. My favourite pudding, apple crumble, was on the menu (made with Bramley apples, I asked) but I was so full that I had to pass. The server was also excellent, very attentive and continually scouting her station for her customers requirements. All for £42, (with a 10% tip). We will be going back despite the switch back road from glasgow to Lanark.

We just popped in for a simple something to eat , a case of a sandwich and a coffee but I was struck by how relaxed this bar is ! You could actually sit all day in a great ambience , feel relaxed and comfortable within very historic surroundings. As I stated we had a simple sandwich but the food we saw going out seemed to look very nice . The staff were lovely and very helpful. If I lived closer I’d be visiting often . Highly recommend if you want something quick .

Ordered online was late by an hour but then the delivery driver never turned up she abandoned the delivery without even contacting me to let me know, and when I called to enquire about my order I was told she was too busy and had abandoned my delivery. Had to apply to just eat for a refund

Food was disgusting, I’m sure it had been cooked the day before and reheated. There was a cleaner with an industrial cleaner washing the carpet while we were eating. The barman said he didn’t know we were coming although they had confirmed the booking online. We weren’t offered a discount after complaining about the food. We will definitely not be back.
