Always lovely products on offer.

Staff were very pleasant quick service

Overcharged, the amount on the receipt and what we were told verbally was different to the amount on the card machine. Was sorted once we pointed out the difference. Food was also not heated properly.

Great coffee shop with friendly and helpful staff

Cosy, clean, and also very good noise level, which is appreciated by neurodivergent people! The food and drinks are delicious, and there's an amazing range to try. There are a ton of vegetarian and vegan options for food and drink, and a wonderful staff member helped to customise a drink to make it decaf and vegan! The staff are all lovely and helpful, and are so quick at making everything that it's almost surreal. We'll definitely be back!

Manager, think his name was Nathan was very rude and made an afternoon treat and sometime to myself and time away from the chaos of every day life a horrible experience. He seems to think that he is better than the customers and completely disregrads any complaints and basically told me I was wrong. Will never be back in that Costa again unless something changes with management !!

Really inconsistent service. Swinging from helpful, polite and kind to rude, obnoxious and unkowledgable. Doesn’t seem like it’s too far to go to make this better. Start by having everyone cut out the condescension, especially when they clearly have no knowledge of coffee.

Obviously the man serving on 25/6/24 at 6pm still needs training on how to prepare drinks witch was only a red berries cooler witch includes red berries syrup and ice mixed in blender if I wasn't on emergency call as family member had been taking into hospital I would of taking back to complain as ended up in the bin ( detail in photo)

Came in today due to Lanark spring festival (stallholder myself) and I loved the service, will come back in November <3

Spacious costa, lots of seating and staff were very friendly

Popped in here for a takeaway, the service was good, very efficient and friendly. The shop itself seemed very spacious, with loads of seating unlike many other costas I've been in, which makes a nice change.

Excellent service, new manager knows her stuff. Order is never wrong. First stop in the morning and always welcomed with a smile and conversation. Great knowledge when it comes to allergies & intolerance, gives me peace of mind with products.

Just this sense you get from some of the staff that they don't want to qork there. And they are one of the slowest I've been in with queues often out the door. Not because of amount of people but kiss thru take so long

Bit of a let down with no WiFi. Perfect location and space for a meeting or somewhere to study, but with poor signal in the upper area and no WiFi I think it would gain a lot of customers and students for that reason

Glacially slow. Queuing to the door with two members of staff apparently on a purposeful go-slow, while a third member of staff strolled back and forth getting milk.

Excellent staff, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic cakes and frappes.

It's OK but not a lot of choice tbh.m on sandwiches tbh. Maybe I went at a bad time ? However, it was nice not fantastic, but ok for a wee coffee, cake and toasties. Large seating area is great.

This is a good costa store we visit it regularly.The only down side is that costa do not sell toast anymore which is quite annoying i have no idea why but it may change where we go now

I've ordered 'Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frappe with Coffee & Light Dairy Swirl' but the staff didn't make up to the right recipe, it was only chocolate in the frappe.. I noticed that there was no brownie crumbs so I asked and it was made wrong...

Always a pleasure visiting Costa Lanark. Staff are always friendly and polite. Oh and the coffee is great too. Highly recommended.

Nice peppermint tea and bacon buff

Pleasant location in the heart of the Royal Burgh,prime high street location,plenty seating over two levels, nice enough coffee any time I have visited, cant comment on the food having never ordered anything,sure it will be ok as it is a Costa after all. Have a couple of tables outside to cater for the smokers and those that enjoy taking their warm beverage in the fresh air,fantastic views to be had.

Dingy with a lovely set of stairs to trip up towards the back of the shop. 8 quid for 2x coffees. Standard.

Large Costa, decent coffee and friendly staff. Knocked a star off as there is no WiFi or mobile signal in the building at all!

Staff are all very friendly and nice. Always giving my we girl extra flakes and cream for her babycino.

Came in for a coffee and whilst the dishwasher was broken got offered a takeaway cup which did not mind at all. Was charged a sit in price. Finding a table for difficult as every table had mess left behind. Place was quiet and the staff stood behind the counter laughing away in their phones. Not tidying up to ensure clean tables were available. Dissapointing and unprofessional. Staff need to be managed better to ensure the shop is clean and presentable.

Same as all the other Costas, more than 2 orders and it can be slow but coffee is decent and always consistent

Called in for a coffee with 2 relatives. Only 1 table was occupied, the rest were empty but the tables were stacked with dirty dishes waiting to be cleared. I had to clear our table for my elderly mother to sit down. No staff offered to sanitise our table. Our drinks were good, usual Costa standard. Just a shame it took nearly half an hour for staff to clear the dirty tables, instead of chatting to each other with an empty shop. Staff however, were pleasant enough to us.

As a brand, Costa is great you know what you get. Individual stores can vary somewhat and that's not a bad thing. I blame the local demographic if anything! Went in around 12:30ish midweek and the lunch options weren't amazing, but what can you expect with reduced capacity. Coffee was nice, food was alright just not a great choice of hot food.

Haven't got a clue what hot coffee is. Most of the time its luke warm. When you ask for coffee extra hot, they don't even listen. Going back and forth to finally get a hot coffee after the girls third attempt. Then when you get the coffee the toastie is cold.. Also the toasties you'd break you teeth on them. cheap bread, and tasteless. A couple of nice staff, but most are quite ignorant, don't even acknowledge your there. Disappointed customer.

Stopped in Lanark for a coffee. In the middle of the high street is Costa. Cappuccino was freshly prepared by friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Just got a small hot choc with marshmallow and cream and git charged £3.85. This is priced online for £2.85. Cant say the female behind the counter was very friend.

Visited on New Years day to be met by the most ignorant assistant |I have ever met, her attitude towards customers is terrible, her manner is disgusting, had to laugh she points to plate for you to place money on then goes on to wipe her nose with the back of her hand, her nails are over the top for handling food and not once did I see her clean them.. Customer service?? she was not doing me or the other three customers that came in a favour and she hasn't done you one either..........

Located in the middle of the high street, this is the usual stereotypical Costa Coffee shop, no better no worse than others in the chain. Though must admit staff are about the friendliest in the chain

Even though they have reduced the opening times still a great place in early Sundays and all evenings to wind down over a coffee after a hectic day

Visited this coffee shop in the middle of lanark. The place wasn't very busy, it was about mid afternoon at weekend. All of the counter area, the tables and floors were absolutely filthy and none of the staff seemed to even notice let alone show any concern. The area where hot drinks was in a terrible state and some of the equipment looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for days with heavy and aged staining. I order tea and the cup was all stained.It was my first time in this Costa since I've moved to the Lanark area and it will definitely be my last!
