Lime deli East Kilbride in South Lanarkshire

Never open when it says it is. Google says it’s open and when you go down it’s shut. Happened a couple times to us now. Last time we ordered on their website and then they were shut when we went to collect the already paid for meal. Today went to order in person as it said online they were open and again it’s shut.

Don’t like to bash a local business but after giving it another go tonight, was really disappointed to find my pizza was really burnt on the base again. So annoying as you don’t find out until you’ve got it home. Half of it was completely blackened and inedible. Seems like a quick check of the base before boxing it up could save people feeling ripped off. I think when you pay £17 for a pizza You should be able to eat it all. The other one we got was fine.

Collected a large pizza and when I got home noticed the pizza was completely burnt and not edible. I phoned the restaurant right away to complain and was dismissed with a ‘will call you back later.’ Still awaiting a response. Completely unacceptable. Shocking customer service from owner

Fantastic dough, good bottom, plenty toppings, solid flavour, really friendly staff... despite the lack of vitamin D ;). Chicken bites can be a bit dry, but the dip makes up for it. Good price for quality pizza.

Super tasty and fresh pizzas with a great selection for vegetarians! Very quick and friendly service too!

We used to enjoy Stefanos and haven’t been for years and now remember why. I wholeheartedly agree with other reviews, Pizza was cold and tasteless. I think it’s the bland cheese and tasteless pizza dough they use. I recommend driving 10 mins to vilaggio in eaglesham where the pizzas are cheaper and a million times nicer. Sorry Stefanos I won’t be ordering again, Vilaggio blows your pizza out the water.

Stefano’s lost its way for a while, pizza’s weren’t great. Ordered tonight and the quality is back, really enjoyed the my meal. Top notch!

Great flavours. Stone baked. Seen a comment on the base being thin... Well, it's supposed to be. It's not an oven deep pan from a frozen section. it's proper pizza. The guy who works there is always very pleasant to me.

Order took over 2 hours for delivery arrived cold with no dip which I paid for.

Food was lovely. Five stars would have been given had the pizza been warm when I collected it. Waited outside after asking about my order in clear view of staff to then come in to ask about it, I could see it sitting under the food warmer. The pizza had a slight heat in it. Everything else was warm.

Pizza is not as good as it was before take over and delivery time is ridiculous. The last 2 orders have taken 2 hours no matter what they tell you. Unfortunately won't be using again.

Used to love stefano's Pizza. Got to the point I always had to ask for extra sauce and extra cheese to get a pizza I actually like. But now they are just charging me for extra sauce and cheese and im getting a terrible pizza. I give up never ordering again.

No había personal suficiente y un miembro del personal en particular fue grosero a un cliente, esta no es la primera vez que he sido testigo de esto. Me hizo sentir incómodo.Yo sugiero que capacitar a su personal en habilidades mejor servicio al cliente, ya que es el principal motivo por el que no volveré ya que todo lo demás es agradable.

great place for that big breakfast , elevenses and lunch. the homemade soup is delicious as are the various filled rolls on offer.

Prices are dearer than the surrounding outlets and the soup which is usually ok was full of large chunks of leek which were not cooked, will not be back

Went for lunch, the soup was ok, the sandwich that comes with was all bread and little filling. If you order this make sure you get some extras for the sandwich. The decor is a little tired and it could be a liitle cleaner

Hoy, mis amigos y yo visitamos The Lime Deli en el polígono industrial y nos enojamos porque el personal de su tienda es ridículamente grosero al decir que no podíamos tener ciertos alimentos porque no había tiempo suficiente. Llegamos a las 2: 40 preguntando por nuestro almuerzo ya que estábamos bailando y teníamos un límite de tiempo para volver al estudio. Era una mujer con cabello rubio que nos atendía y nos dijo "No se pueden obtener papas fritas ya que necesito llegar a casa". se negó a servirle a 4 de mis amigos una porción de papas fritas ya que "no tenía tiempo", pero había 20 minutos y una familia de 4 que seguían comiendo en la tienda cuando llegamos y nos dijeron que nos fuéramos mientras se permitía a la familia para sentarse y comer! No estábamos causando ningún problema siendo ruidoso o grosero, así que no veo por qué tuvimos que irnos! Espero que esto nunca le pase a ningún otro cliente y espero que el personal sepa lo que han hecho mal.

Mis amigos y yo, visitamos el deli lime en el parque industrial junto a DiMaggios. La atencion de la señorita fue grosero conmigo y mis amigos. Ella dijo que no podía haber ciertos alimentos porque no había tiempo suficiente. Pero teníamos 10 minutos antes de la tienda 15 cerrar. Llegamos a esta tienda (hambrientos y contentos para conseguir comida) a las 2:40 pm, dejando 20 minutos para conseguir comida y salir. Todos nos fuimos muy enojado sensación como era muy grosero como hemos estado bailando para el pasado 3 horas y estamos muy hambrientos, mencionó que cuando volvamos la próxima vez. Un a diferentes porque ella quería irse a casa. Había una familia de 4 aún de comer en el restaurante, pero nos dijeron que para salir. Por favor tome en cuenta, gracias.

Pudimos conseguir el desayuno aquí después de otros lugares había dejado de servir. Dos personas de nuestro grupo el escocés, que incluyen salchichas square y patata bollo. Costo fue menos de 6 libras. 00 Pero este té incluido. Tuve un bollo de desayuno, que incluía la opción de bacon, salchichas o huevos.

La primera vez y disfruté de mi estancia. Aparecimos para comer algo y ambos optaron por la sopa y ofrecen sándwich en £4. 75. I have to say we use this cafe regularly. We first started using it as they allowed us to bring in our dog as long as we sat in the window seating area at the entrance. We got hooked on taking the dog for a 40 minute walk to Lime having some lunch and then walking back home. Food and coffee is good for a café and I would recommend it for a nice breakfast or lunch.

Si no desea hacer nada en EK, visita Lima, conseguir un plato o una taza de la sopa para llevar. Siempre sorprendente. Puedes elegir otras cosas obviamente desde el menú, pero una sopa de lima y sándwich es simplemente una alegría.

Lime Deli is a great little café for a quick bite to eat on an afternoon, or to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends.The service is great although sometimes a little slow on a Saturday afternoon; which is to be expected for how busy it is! I would recommend the soup of the day as all flavours are delicious. The homemade cakes go down a treat with a fresh coffee too.

Not only do Limes do a lovely lunchtime meal but I have used them for outside buffets. Peter the owner always provides a great service and a lovely selection of food.I have used Limes for both office meetings and a family function. Come recommended as they have never let me down.

Popped in just on the passing for a lunchtime nibble, it was quite busy but not at all noisy. The ladies had the soup which they commented on was quite salty. I had a slice of homemade carrot cake which was really nice and my mate had a square sausage roll. Really nice friendly and genuinely smiley staff.

Jointly hosted a private group party on Saturday 3rd September. All food was freshly prepared and served by Peter and his staff. The meal was delicious and drinks were also served.(excellent selection ). Large table all set, just had to turn up and enjoy the evening. Thank you Peter for everything, we shall certainly be using your team for our next party.

I just love the spicy chicken toasted wraps they do. Full to the brim and nice and cheap. Always really busy at lunch times but worth the wait.lovely staff too.

Had a fantastic lunch on Sunday , we had the most gorgeous baked potatoes, so fresh, my prawn filling was gorg. As it's licensed I had a lovely glass of Merlot to accompany my yummy lunch. The staff as always were delightful in catering to our every requirement. Thank you for a lovely wee start to our day out the lovely Betty & her staff .

I was in EK Village wedding dress shopping myself, my daughter , daughters future mother in law and bridesmaids decided to take time out from Lady G we had been in the shop all morning for wedding & bridesmaids dresses and in need of food and fuel for the body we enquired where we should eat & lime deli was recommended to us but omg it was the worst place we could have eaten. Our bridal party should have walked out right away the place looked like it could have done with a good clean & I mean with basically sweeping the floor. We (unfortunately) placed our orders & some off the fillings we ordered had a skin forming over them I did want to complain but my daughter (the bride) asked me not to say anything & as I didn't want to upset her I didn't say a word. Lime Deli definitely has ideas above it's station I can see where it's coming from & where it wants to be but basic cleanness is where they need to start & then work their way up maybe they should start with someone in charge like a manageress or charge hand and they could lead the way. We didn't eat much of our food & we certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone the way it trades. Get your act together Lime you could be a great place to eat if first impressions were better hence your food having a film on them.

Great coffee shop with great staff.We go here while out walking our dogs for take out coffee and bacon rolls.fantastic place for lunch eating in or take away.

I have visited this cafe/deli a lot as my lg dance class is directly across from it... Absolutely love it. It offers gorgeous food, very pleasant staff and surroundings is very relaxing. It is located in EK village which is lovely to visit with lovely shops surrounding. Anytime I have been in it has always been busy... Parking available close by

We have visited the deli a few times when in the village and have always had a lovely lunch or snack. It's in a lovely part of the old village of East Kilbride which is always nice to visit. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We'll be continuing to visit Lime whenever we are in the area, highly recommended.

Get my hair done in the village and always stop in for lunch afterwards - food good and service with a smile. Nothing too much trouble

Food was lovely..Catered fabulously for my gluten free diet.. even gave me my pudding home with me cause I couldn't eat it as I was so full ..My husband scoffed the lot said it was soooooo delicious he couldn't help himself and that for a gluten free option !! Also tried to help me out with a wee problem with my mobile phone .Finally got me a really friendly reliable taxi driver to take me home. You don't get looked after so well anywhere else nowadays !! Well done guys and thanks for a special night !!!

I recently visited Lime To Go on a Sat morning I ordered rolls and sausage which were a bit salty but ok except for I have always been told take the plate to the food not food to plate, the rolls where on the counter and the girl then got the sausages from the grill to the rolls instead of taking rolls to the grill.(1st lesson in catering college) The cold food in the bowls where all dry with a skin forming on them and this was early morning looked like they had been out uncovered all night the chicken with sauce ( not sure what it was meant to be) had hit of the thermometer on the fridge was covered in sauce looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a while if I had noticed that I wouldn't have bought anything wont be visiting again.!!

I have been to this place a few times and have decided they do he best Lorne sausage every! Also they use Morton's rolls! (crispy) the prices also have not been changed for about 10 years so it's so cheap!

What a fab place. Great choice of menu, from a soup/sandwich to something more substantial. Great to just sit and chill, no one to rush you out. It does get busy at lunchtime, especially with school kids, but they usually just takeaway.It's very reasonably prices, and food is sooooo yummy.

We work and live near by and eat out here for lunch frequently. Friendly staff and good food. Nice to sit in at too but just watch you don't go when the schools are out!

Popped in for a wee lunch with my gf, baby, her friend and her baby. The staff were very friendly even though it was very busy, they all said hi to the kids.The food was excellent and served very quickly after ordering. We asked for some mugs to give the babies some of the soup we ordered, instead she brought over 2 small fresh bowls of soup and a couple bits of bread without charging us.The babies were making a complete mess but the staff were ok about it. Good prices good food good staff.

Use to come here all the time with friends or with my boyfriend, once with family. On our last visit I thought I'll ask agen for a bake potato but yet agen I was told very rudely by staff that their was no more left yet a couple who came in after us managed to get one each. Also asked for a hot chocolate witch was taking it's time to arrive. Was told by the girl that they had run out and she had to nip out to the near by Co-up to get more. I was very grateful but I had ended up having some of my bf's cola in the time it took her to deal with other orders and nip out, make up the drink. Both of us felt like our macaroni had came from a tin probably from the Co-up. It says on the menu that macaroni come with bread and salad yet a few times we have been given just a bowl of macaroni. Came here with my brother on a very hot day. I had told them that they where advertising beer on their drinks menu. So he asked for one. The woman said we don't sell many pints and I think the gas has ran out. She ended up managing to pouring him a pint. As he was paying the woman said we don't get many people in at this time of day ordering drink. My brother has never been so embarrassed in his life. Insinuating he had a drink problem who wouldn’t be embarrassed. Any ways the pint was flat. Why stock drink if you don't want any one to buy any?Once I had a very nice cup of hot chocolate made by a young man who I've never seem sins then.Even from my first visit I had noticed that their seems to be a lack of hygiene. Food on the floor and dirty dishes left laying about also dead flowers on the tables. I'm so put off by the bad bad manners the staff have :( :( Think they could all go with customer service training.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat with colleagues on our lunch break. The deli was empty when we walked in and I immediately went straight up to the counter to order. There was 2 girls serving both with blonde hair I asked " do you do brown or granary baguettes"? They gave each other a strange look and started giggling clearly not concentrating on my order and the impression they gave off was unprofessional, distracting and very off putting. I said "I'm sorry did I say something strange or ask for the wrong thing"? "You are both clearly laughing"? In which one girl replied sorry we were just telling each other a story something along the lines off talking about a dog. This level of customer service is very poor and unacceptable not only did I get made to feel I had interrupted a conversation to place my order but I certainly did not feel like a valued customer. This is such a shame as I have visited on many occasions and love the food provided. To top it off both girls then moved to the entrance of the back kitchen to discuss the incident together as I looked up to catch them starring at our table. I immediately felt uncomfortable and didn't finish my lunch I left while my colleague paid the bill. I will not be returning due to very bad service.

I have visited twice for Sunday breakfast. Once with hubby and once with group of 6. Nice place, good food. A bit disorganised and seem to find it difficult to deal with large orders and benign busy. By the time out food arrived we were so hungry we just are it despite it being mostly cold. Il be returning and hoping to see them improve with experience. They should get more menus which are nicer and in better condition and say on them "please order at the bar" as I got confused and thought it was table service until I noticed the small sign on the bar. They should get salt and pepper shakers for each table as routing through the sugar bowl for a sachet of salt isn't ideal. I was a bit embarrassed to have brought my friends here as I'd said it was good and they were severely unimpressed with the service. Like I say, il be back for Sunday breakfast but I hope they listen to critique and strive to improve
