Bake 'N' Butty in South Lanarkshire

Ordered online was late by an hour but then the delivery driver never turned up she abandoned the delivery without even contacting me to let me know, and when I called to enquire about my order I was told she was too busy and had abandoned my delivery. Had to apply to just eat for a refund

Visited for a take out, it was fabulous, the best coronation chicken I have had anywhere. Staff were also very friendly, looking forward to going back

I tried my best, I really did. Came for a wee roll and coffee: thoroughly enjoyed them. But just as I thought to leave, I saw it, staring back at me from the display shelf. The holy grail of sweets, the promised coffee cake. Wiping away tears, I had to get it It was beautiful. I had never tasted such splendour before. Now, that coffee cake is all I think about, my every waking moment. It’s less like I consumed the coffee cake, and more it’s consumed me. I even wrote it a little poem in the hopes it would write one back. But it never did. Beautiful cake on display How many slices will I have today? Please don’t cry, Don’t say goodbye I’ll make sure more is made. I’m crying. Where has this cake been all my life?

Very friendly little cafe. They clearly care about the food they serve you. I can't see beyond their home made soup. Very reasonable prices for excellent food.

Go in every day. Lovely staff, good food. I Really recommend the Bake n Butty. Made lots of friends in the cafe.

I just love this cafe best in Lanark the owner Jonathan is the nicest guy I know always gives you a great welcome and makes you feel welcome in the cafe and is very friendly and can’t do enough for his customers the food is delicious I recommend this cafe to everyone 5 stars x

This is a warm and friendly cafe close to the Doctors surgery and high street - a hidden little Gem, The food is excellent and well presented, top-notch service with a friendly staff and a smile - always time to chat with customers - a really strong part of the community

Amazing little place for breakfast or lunch! The owner makes loads of different handmade pies and they are to die for! A great selection of homemade cakes and a different homemade soup every day. They also do event catering!

Good food, good coffee(a must for me) and delicious cakes/treats/baked goods. Get in early for the cupcake of the day, or a handmade pie. Worth visit!

Food was terrible and not very warm. Scones were rock hard and coffee tasted like the cheapest available.

Visited this little treasure and enjoyed home made steak pie and chips both were amazing will definitely return

Usually pop in in the morning for a bacon or sausage roll. You can sit in or take away. Food is very good and good value for money.

Went in for the all day breakfast and was very disappointed, bacon was way under cooked and the egg was burnt with a rubber yolk. These are the main ingredients for me and I left hungry. No one asked me how my food was and the girl cleaning the table next to me was hell bent on avoiding any eye contact so I did not express my disappointment to the staff.

Popped in on lanimer day for a quick snack , the owner had just took pies out the oven so we took 4 they were £3 each but OMG!!! Pie heaven steak and sausage with Gravy they were terrific !!! So much meat in a gorgeous pastry !! And massive couldn't eat for hours afterwards !! For all you workers out there try the pies !!! U won't go wrong !! ( the macaroni & bAcon are great also ) 👍👍👍

Quite a busy wee cafe with friendly service ,just right for middle of the morning filled roll a small seating area but used a lot by locals for sit in and carry out .Handy for the train station and the Bus Station . Tables spotless and cleared as soon as someone leaves

Staff are always friendly, food is lovely and freshly prepared. You can sit in or take away, wide selection of food, and the coffees are always great!

This is opposite the station so good to pick up a take away for the train/bus. Good selection to choose from and papers to read while sitting in. Cheaper than other places in Lanark. Staff very friendly and also very clean.

We popped in while waiting for our friends to arrive off the train. Portions were generous and and the full cooked breakfast was excellent. The price was very good as well and the waitress very friendly.

Ideal for a quick lunch to sit in or take away, lovely food at very reasonable prices and great service!
