Visited mid week and chose street food menu. Was disappointed with the dish. We all found the food to be very salty and portions poor. It became too difficult to eat the sauce due to the salt. We would return as a nice atmosphere and great service, but next time, we will stick to your regular menu and keep our fingers crossed!

We had booked a table on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. We were able to order our food around 8 o clock. After waiting for an hour our food arrived. All four of us enjoyed our meals but if we had wanted to eat at 9 pm we would have booked a later time. At one point a waitress asked if everything was ok. I can only assume she didn't notice we were still waiting for our food! She did apologise for the wait but things could have been put right if Not sure if we had been offered complimentary bread/ appetiser/drinks for our inconvenience. I believe the dining area is going to be more than doubled next week. I can only hope that more staff have been employed! We frequently support local restaurants and I would hope that if we do visit again we will not be disappointed. Mrs P MC Nally

Lovely venue, delicious breakfast and brilliant service from the staff group. Will definitely head back to sample lunch and their amazing cakes.

A wonderful lunch we did not plan the visit and they were able to accommodate us. A great choice was available to meet a variety of needs. We opted for the fritters (black pudding and haggis) as a starter to share. This was delightful. The main courses were equally good with mother in law having beef lasagne whilst the Hunters chicken beckoned me. Well worth a trip

Whilst visiting surrounding area we went here for dinner using an Itison voucher which included a 2 course meal with a glass of wine. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed the food, there was a great variety to choose from, we had the Balmoral Chicken and the Fish and Chips followed by Ice Cream Sundaes all of which were delicious. Definately worth a visit.

Ordered a jumbo fish supper and it's the worst I've had for a long time. The fish batter was soggy the fish was grey and the chips were soggy. So I took it back in, handed it to the frier saying I'm giving you this back, it's the worst I've ever had. Without missing a beat he took the bag from me, threw it on the floor and continued speaking with one of the young lads. No question to inquire what the issue was, nothing, which made me think this must be a common occurrence there.

Bought a latte and a sandwich which was made up while i waited. Bought were enjoyable but I was charged £6.40 when on the price list latte is £2.50 and sandwich £3.50. On the till it was £2.70 and £3.70 with no explanation given. If the prices have increased the price list should reflect this to give customers choice whether they want to pay that or not or have enough money to pay even.
