Lovely lunch for four served by delightful staff. We really enjoyed our meal and have booked for Christmas. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely bar supper tonight (25/09) at Edwards with my daughter and her boyfriend. The girls serving us were lovely. Perfect service. Really nice food which we all enjoyed. Such a cosy atmosphere in the downstairs bar too. I will be back and would highly recommend.

We visited last night with friends for a meal and on arrival we ordered our drinks glasses of wine for the ladies and beer for the men, this was the only slight let down of the night as when the drinks arrived my friends wife noticed that the glass she received hadn’t been cleaned properly as it still had lipstick around the rim of the glass. However this was quickly rectified by the young staff who were on duty. For food my friends wife had the smaller portion of haddock goujons and her husband had the large haddock, my wife had the chicken goujons where I had the classic burger with bacon with added chili all the main courses were well presented and tasty. For myself I normally go for fish and only occasional have a burger, however the burger I can honestly say hand on heart was extremely tasty. For sweets I had the jam rollypoly and custard and everyone else had the sticky toffee pudding which everyone seemed to enjoy. This is a big improvement from my last visit where numerous things didn’t go as well as it should have and ended in disappointment, this time they have redeemed themselves to the extent that it ended up as a rather pleasant evening.

Good grub & nae too pricey either. Staff are very friendly, attentive & welcoming. All our food was delicious - classic pub grub but just what we were needing as we were hungry - happy tummies all round.

Been here to meals plenty of times and can never fault anything. Main menu and specials all excellent, staff friendly and welcoming.

very basic menu, was advised the special menu was fully sold out which was disappointing. no drinks menu do not reccomend the macaroni! - this was the worst i have ever tasted - was so watery and had no flavour. also no sides on the menu. other members had goujons which were also so basic. Similar prices to other places and i’d rather go somewhere and spend more money for good quality homemade food rather than everything being cooked from frozen

Visited here for a Birthday lunch with my wife. Great service. Lovely friendly staff and really tasty food. I’d recommend it 100%. Dog friendly too what more can you ask. Thanks for a lovely day.

Pleasant bar but poor baked potato. Potato skin was papery, potato flesh damp and more solid than optimal. So far from a fluffy baked potato expected with a nice chewy savoury skin. The coronation chicken filling was meagre and dryish. Came with a nice salad, minus dressing, but more attention required to the potato itself and filling

My first time here, others in my party had been before and recommended it. A nice window seat upstairs, good ambience, with plenty space between tables and quick and helpful staff (albeit, waited for the bill but had to go to the bar after waiting a while and no bill arriving.) Good prices, plenty selection on the menu. Food served quickly, tasty meals that kept their heat. I was particularly impressed by the choice of different size portions for several meal choices. I don't know if there is a drinks menu and should have asked, but will do next time, as I was impressed enough to return again.

Food was amazing & the atmosphere & service really good. There was a party of 11 of us in for food & everyone thoroughly enjoyed it

I had afternoon tea with my sister and it was lovely seeing what they done with nightclubs was amazing it such a great transformation. The afternoon tea was lovely and staff were really great. The brownie was amazing can I get the recipe for the price it was really good serivce.

Average pub food, portion sizes tiny for the cost - especially the macaroni which could of passed as kids meal.

Had a very nice lunch upstairs in lovely surroundings! Particularly clean and nice touches with real plants ect! Our server was pleasant and helpful! Will return on our next visit to inverurie!

Table booked for evening meal and disappointed that it had obviously not been wiped down from previous diners. Starters arrived with no cutlery. Husband had soup but was told there weren’t spoons. Charged for a bottle of wine rather than a glass. All complaints were readily rectified. Food was good but inexperienced staff and a busy restaurant was not the best combination.

I've recently moved into the town of Inverurie, and needed a local eatery n waterhole. Well, I came to Edwards regardless of what I've heard, as I had asked about.To my supprise it was the opposite. Staff were very friendly and pro active in the way they conducted themselves The food at Edwardsis always flavoursome, filling, and well presented. I will be back n ill keep coming back after Covid 19 comes to an end.

First time visiting this bar. It had a good friendly atmosphere, although we were warned it can get rowdy late on with the night club upstairs, but we never saw any trouble at all whilst there. Disappointed that they had ran out of Hendricks gin, however there was a good selection of others to choose from. Would certainly go back and recommend the place as part of a night out in the town.

Five of us went for lunch and the food was delicious, fresh, hot and plenty of it. We had very friendly service, unfortunately I can't remember her name. Would highly recommend.

Always a great welcome from Mel and the guys in Edwards. One of our favourite lunch venues and our wee boy highly recommends the sausages. His choice every time.

High quality ‘pub grub’ well presented and huge portions at a very reasonable price. We had the macaroni cheese, scampi and beef steak pie and was clean plates all round! Highly recommend! Nice to see they’re concentrating on the restaurant side of the business.

We popped in for a few drinks and food but staff was shocking we asked for Steven for cocktails. We was in before and loved the service we received from him but the bar staff was very rude and qouted 'steven was sacked for being crap at his job' myself and my company think this is wrong and we wont be returning to the venue. We were in the bar downstairs for lunch which was table service. The menu's are a bit tatty but the choice is good. The portion sizes were generous (chips equivalent to 3 x BK) with everything served quickly and hot. The waitresses were pleasant, chatty and helpful.

We visited yesterday afternoon for drinks and food. We liked the style of the place and selection of food was very good, our meals and drinks were very good however there is one big problem. The staff are very rude, we were sat for a few hours and overheard them bad mouthing all most all the customers who came in over the time we spent. Comments on their appearance, food choices and one being called a "f###*NG idiot" because he went and sat down at a table without waiting to be shown to a table.. Perhaps he got tired waiting to be seated seeing as he was stood there for several minutes. The girl with the ginger dreadlocks and the tall barman need a lesson in politeness and should be ashamed of their comments towards paying customers.

Great place for pub food. The service was excellent. Our server was very polite and professional.Would highly recommend for the midweek super when you can't be bothered cooking.Great we could take our wee dog in aswell.Good atmosphere. TV screens up, but not to loud.Staff seem happy and helpful, far superior to its new neighbours.

It's a bright and welcoming bar that serves food. Probably my favourite bar in Inverurie. There's a good range of beers, including some local brews, and the usual full range of other drinks. There's music and a TV. It is not as rowdy as some of the near neighbours or as expensive as some. A reliable place catering for folks of all ages.The toilets could be a bit better signposted, fun though it was to walk into the staff room.

Came across Edwards during a recent trip to Inverurie. First impressions were good and we were greeted with a friendly waiter who seated us and took a drinks order. There was a good choice on the menu. We received our drinks promptly but had to wait for ages even to have our food order taken. I was just about to go up to the bar when our order was taken. It was fairly busy but we had to wait for almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food did eventually arrive it was well presented and tasty enough. When we had finished no-one returned to clear our dirty dishes or to ask if we wanted anything else. We were fed up waiting so went up to the bar to ask for the bill.

I have visited Edwards on multiple occasions for food and nights out can’t normally complain the staff are normally welcoming and never complain about there food normally very lovely . Yesterday when my brother and girlfriend came to visit we went there for our evening meal like we often do. We sat at the table and the music was really loud for the time of day. The waitress took our order we waited not long for our food. The food arrived and my brother realises his order is not what he ordered at all he went to the bar to tell them he ordered the lemon soul goujons not chicken goujons they apologised and said they will get them. They told him he can keep the chicken ones which was a main when he only wanted a starter the said it will only go to waist. The waitress came and apologised who took our order and said she miss heard him he was fine and understanding it was a simple mistake. When the lemon should arrived he went to eat and realised they were still completely raw. He took it back to the bar and said they tried to then argue with him they weren’t and he told them he’s a head chef and it is raw they were very rude to him. After this the bar staff kept staring at us while we ate our meal every time we looked over we were being glared at also the chef came out stood behind the bar and just scowled at him. I got an awful look off the bar man when he gave me another drink. My self and my mum had finished our food and the cleared half the table after already being told our friend is still eating she felt rushed. Not only that her mash was hard and beef tasted like fish. Anyway we decided to ask for dessert menus. Only myself and my mum had. I ordered the warm chocolate fudged cake. I received it and it was freezing like just been taken out the fridge and just put sauce on. I went and told them the took it back to the kitchen and went back to my table. The waitress then came over and said the chef said it’s not meant to be hot just warm I said it wasn’t warm it was freezing. During all of the the barman especially is staring at us the whole time make us rather uncomfortable. We waited for the dessert plate to be cleared for over 20 minutes. We received our bill and the food my brother hadn’t order was on the bill what he ordered was £4.95 and he was charged over £9 so he spoke to the girl who had just come on shift and she was rude towards him and asked what she wanted him to do he said take it off my bill. She say you ate it he says I got the wrong food then was raw and I was told to eat so didn’t go to waste. Also everyone else was eating She then tuted at him. We have never felt so uncomfortable in our lives. We are not ones to complain but the service was absolutely shocking

Refurbished and looks good but it seems the owners don’t know if it’s a bar or a restaurant ? Too many higglety pigglety tables and chairs dotted here and there. You could be sitting with your missus having a meal and the very next table is the high one and it can have 6 noisy drunken youths around it . Not much fun. All in all we don’t go much now as it’s noisy on a Sat night and the seating just doesn’t do it for us. Should have kept the “booths” for a bit of privacy.

Our favourite lunchtime haunt. Always a great service in a comfy setting. Food is spot on and excellent value. Highly recommend

I've been in here for a meal once or twice in the past and have no complaints, other than the customer service being quite bland.

Food okay - but on a night out - terrible. Closing hours are always changing. Bouncer and bar staff cant agree on set times. 2am advertised on a Thursday- yet got thrown out at 1am. Music in club is predictable. Every night I've been in it's the same every time. Never anything new. Returb is brilliant - upstairs needs updated, Shame Saturday night staff cant be updated - or the DJ!

Visited for a light lunch and found the service to be excellent. Warm, friendly and efficient. The servings were generous. The macaroni was very cheesy and piping hot. The prawn sandwiches were generously filled and very tasty. The salads and fries were good as well. The place was very busy which is surely a good sign. We will certainly visit again.

Really nice to see the bar get a refurbishment. It was this that brought us in but, unfortunately, the food was a major let down.

Dropped in for a few drinks very impressed with the refurbishment but it still let's it's self down with the smell of cooking oil which is a shame

Ordered the chicken satay wrap, unfortunately I don’t class a wrap spread with peanut butter and plain strips of chicken as satay chicken. Service was good and waitresses were very attentive. Atmosphere was ruined by a grumpy chef who would come out of the kitchen and have a go at the staff, not very discreetly.

Visited here on Saturday the 12th January 2019 for a few drinks with a friend. The new decor is lovely however the place absolutely stinks of greasy food! By the time I left the smell of chip fat was clinging to my clothes. Unfortunately won’t be going back because of that. Let’s hope inverurie gets a trendy new bar to bring some life back to the place!

Myself and best friend visited for lunch today, we both had the chicken fillets and they were delicious! We then had chocolate fudge cake which was also delicious! The place was busy, had a great atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly!

The food and menu was poor, burger over done ,wine left on the table unopened , and service nonexistent, no good night when we left, waiter just kept looking at the table to see if we had left our money .

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Inexpensive cup of tea & coffee. New decor has updated the bar giving it a fresh open space. Meals looked lovely though I haven't eaten there yet. Definitely worth visiting for drinks, lunch or a cuppa.

Taste like the ingredients come from Iceland down the road.

First visit for us since the revamp & was a busy Friday lunch with only two waitresses who did a fab job, no waiting around. Decor is great & food was very tasty & great portions even for the kids. 2 adult meals, 1 kids & 2 juice £27.

Love the new decor. Very cosy and inviting. Love the whole new look. Staff and management very attentive and happy. Would defo recommend for lunch, dinner or just a quiet coffee. Definitely need to book to avoid disappontment

Excellent service and great food our waitress Jamie couldn't of been any better at her job she made us feel so welcome to the venue. Couldn't ask for better staff would high recommend a visit to Edwards.

Great bar in the heart of Inverurie which has interesting guest beers on tap and serves good reasonably priced pub grub.

Nice place to eat and drink, it's a small place so tables can be sparse. However nice clean place and food always good. Thumbs up from me

Popped in for a meal which, as usual, was really good. Lovely chicken goujons and macaroni. Prompt service from our server Max, a very polite and pleasant lad. One thing I felt let it down was the barmaid smoking furiously in the entrance doorway whilst keeping an eye on the bar. We waited until she had finished before making our exit.

Hier vanavond gegeten met mijn man. Ik had Balmoral Chicken met Haggis en eerlijk; dit is de beste Haggis ever en bereid door een slager in Aberdeen. Het werd geserveerd met een roomsaus, een heerlijk groenten garnituur en gekookte nieuwe aardappels.

Classico pub inglese, buona scelta di whisky e birre, sul lato destro, al piano superiore,una piccola discoteca ma il sabato sera come il venerdì è delirio. Le persone bevono come spugne, ragazzine giovanissime devastate dall'alcol. La serata ovviamente finisce nella strada con le persone stese per terra e la polizia che le porta via. Le auto della polizia sono come le mosche, girano solo intorno alla strada dove sono i pub cercando di agguantare qualcuno. Non sono belle serate da trascorrere!!!

Standard pub in the heart of Inverurie. Ok for a pint if you can get seated as it’s usually busy due to a lack of good pubs in the area. Brew dog opening a bar close to the premises so that could be a game changer.

Family visit on a quiet day. food always hot, great selection of fresh food. Am a bit fussy and they were very accommodating. Portion sizes very reasonable

After a visit to Gin Festival : North East at Inverurie Town Hall, we went to Edwards for a late lunch. My son had mac n cheese with fries and garlic bread, my daughter-in-law had scampi and fries and my wife and I both had haddock and fries with peas.

Lovely visit during our trip to Inverurie. Gin and Tonic selection excellent. Staff friendly and obliging.

Good food good service bar staff welcoming. One bar staff member was very good very helpful very aware of what was available and what goes with what. Think her name was Anna. Scott was the barman also well clued up on what was available

This place is going down hill fast ,the staff seem to think the bar facilities are there for them and not the customers.one in particular comes in changes the music to some demented thumping trash turns the volume full up and thinks this fine for a bar on a Saturday afternoon .The sports on the tv's used to be very good but now they have some cheap foreign boxes which freeze constantly.The owner needs to get a grip and spend some time in this place ,and get his staff some customer service training

Used to love going here for lunch, not any more, soup well if you can call it soup more like dishwater, was hunt the burger in the bun.

Parámos em Inverurie para almoçar a caminho de Aberdeen, e a escolha não era muita. O menu do Edwards era composto pelos pratos dos costume; comemos fish & chips e caril de frango. Ainda que a comida não fosse propriamente excelente, o almoço foi servido rapidamente e saí-nos barato, que era o que nós pretendíamos.

We came in as a group for some lunch to watch football on our way home from a weekend away was really looking forward to eating here however I was very disappointed by one of the members of staff she was rude because I decided to have tea as I was driving. 0 for service from me! However the food looked amazing.

Popped into Edwards recommended by the local taxi driver and what a JOY to visit... To be honest got off the train at the wrong station but so glad it all turned out wonderfully.... Staff are so friendly and helpful a total joy, the FOOD looks and tastes even better than the pic and it did not disappoint at all quite the opposite it be honest. Onion rings crispy and hot, crunchy and soft all at the same time BBQ sauce was just a delight... That was just the starters. OMG the steakpie puff pastry...delicious flavour amazing meat so tender and the gravy was just perfect..try not cleaning your plate go on I challenge you!!! The atmosphere was great lots of great music and dessert of toffee pudding was a special treat to finish off the meal. My best two hours spent in the wrong town... Thank you so much to the Edwards team for taking such wonderful and great care of me.. Xxxxxxxx

Went to Edwards as we got off the train on Friday. The place was busy but we got a table. The waitress was friendly and took our order quickly. I had a soup and baguette combo the tomato and red Pepper soup was lovely and the prawn baguette was mmmm. My daughter had the chicken fillets they were big and lovely. Hubby had the potato and smoked sausage soup!!! I know strange but he said it was lovely with a toasty. All very good and served quickly. Will be back.

I often pop in for a bite to eat and a pint. The foods always good and the Staff and friendly as is the place in general.

I have used this pub/restaurant many times it is a great place to eat and drink , the food is always very good and drinks are reasonably priced .

This is a great bar for a very wide range of clientele. When me and my wife (50's) visited with friends I was pleasantly surprised by the wide cross section of age groups that were using this bar.There were groups of females in their early 20's all the way up to gents in their 70's.The mood and music in the bar was such that none of these age groups felt out of place or intimidated in any way, which can be the case in some other establishments.Staff were all very friendly and efficient.

We were doing some shopping in Inverurie when the rain came on .We decided to try Edwards and had the Thai chilli beef and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Very good service also.

My daughter and I came for lunch today. The food and service was impeccable and second to none . Waitress was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome . Will be coming back again soon

This is the 1st time ever that I have left a pub in disgust. The staff are too busy chatting to their friends than to bother serving customers. Scruffy staff. Shirt hanging out, trainers don't want to name any names(Danny) 10 minutes later and still no pint. Utter joke of a pub.

So we arrived and was told to take a booth. That's fine, only to find a dirty table with greasy marks all over it. Service was mediocre at the very least but we were hungry so stayed. Out came the starters, mozzarella sticks were over cooked and extremely hard and the salad that accompanied it was stale and dry. Then follows the mains 20 minutes later. The portions were on the small side, I had the sirloin that was again over cooked, they served it with French fries and near half of the steak was pure fat!! And forgot to take my sauce with the meal cue another 5 minute wait and my dish going cold. My partner had the salmon steak which was under cooked in the middle. Overall a very disappointing meal and the blonde hair waitress stomping around left what little atmosphere there might of been in the gutter!

Excellent Staff and quick service with daily specials available.Burgers, steaks and the chilli bowl are a must

Just your average pub with average pub grub. It could be doing with another bar for the locals who can get quite loud! The staff are friendly enough when they get time.

Been in here a couple of times for lunch. Although very busy service was quick. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Generous portions. Staff friendly and helpful, especially Mel who was our server. Would definitely go back again.

We were sitting for absolutely ages waiting for a seat, this was at 1:30pm. Bearing in mind we were away to the football which started at 3pm we didn't have time to mess around. We waited until 2:50pm without any food. We complained and the food shortly followed. We returned the fish and chips as it was a small frozen burnt fish it's was absolutely tiny!! The other meals were chicken fillets which weren't great either. We regularly go on a weekend or through the week but we might not be back in a hurry unless things pick up and change.

Nice pub grub, we had the burger and chips and it was nice and pretty good value for the dish.Service was OK but then it is mainly a pub/bar so you can't ask for everything!

Love going here with my children, they always finish what is put in front of them and that is sometimes a challenge with my three. The food is always fresh and served with a smile, there is a great choice with the menu. Staff are most helpful and its a great place to just sit and chill.Its best to book a table at the weekends as it can get busy especially if there is football etc on.

Reasonable standard of food. Busy place and the service is not bad. Overall it does the job when your needed some food.

Popped in for lunch, just to give the place a try. Friendly service. Ordered chicken goujons and a chicken curry. The chips that came with the meal were frites and while very plentiful got cold very quickly. The goujons themselves tended to be a bit dry. For the price, not great. The curry sauce was very thin and runny and came with a salad rather than a naan bread. Once again not very tasty. Have tried it the once but won't go back.

My gf and I went here for lunch on last Sunday. I had a Edwards combo platter (think that was what it was called...) which was stacked with perfectly fried filos prawns, scampi, chicken, onion rings and fries (really very good). So often you get wetish soggy things with the batter falling off but this was the opposite pretty much perfect. All not over cooked either so for example the chicken was not dry. Huge portion, felt bad not eating it all.Gf had a steak & cheese baguette which had a load of steak which she really liked. So all told highly recommend (also decent pints).

Lamb and feta wrap, smokey pig bun and loaded chips were all good and huge portions! Mel always gives a warm welcome as do Scot and Robert.Great prosecco at a good price!

Popped in for a quick lunch mid week. Lunch times are always busy, can be hard to get a seat which shows how popular a place it is. Never had a bad meal and staff always friendly.

I went into Edwards on my own to watch football on a Monday night. There weren't many in there - maybe 12 - but the place had a good selection of beers and ciders. You don't normally find Somersby on tap. There are 4 TV screens, three of which are quite large and a smaller one behind the bar, and because the pub is small inside you get a decent view of a TV irrespective of where you are in the pub. I asked if food was still being served and it was although there were quite a few things not being served and as the menu is relatively small anyway it didn't leave a lot of choice.The bar service was slow despite there being few in the bar. I would go in again as the atmosphere was friendly enough but it wasn't anything above the ordinary.

Lunch and an ale. Really impressed with the child friendliness (high chair, adaptable menu, baby change, kids cutlery) and the progressive atmosphere (promoting alcohol free alternatives).

Family friendly pub with good food, large portions , I recommend the steak pie. Friendly staff and reasonably priced

A quick look at the menu posted outside and we were tempted in by the more unusual dishes on offer.We tried a pulled lamb, feta & lemon wrap served with fries, coleslaw & salad and a Smokie Pig, pulled pork on a bun, topped with smoked bacon & cheese and served with fries & coleslaw. Although the meat in both meals was more sliced than pulled, it was tender, tasty and very satisfying.Service was prompt & efficient & the background music was great.

This popular bar in the centre of Inverurie certainly knows how to deliver an above average pub-lunch to its hungry customers! No fuss - no dramas - just tasty grub presented at your table by one of the friendly waiting staff. Well done Edwards! - Refreshingly stress-free!Thanks very much!

Staff were pleasant enough! Decent selection on kids menu! As it was lunch time I decided on soup and sandwich, however was devastated when my mothers fish and chips came!!! It was massive and delicious!!!! Kids meals were tasty too, we all ended up having a share of everything! Everything was lovely and prices were reasonable

called in for lunch i had the steak pie and wife had lasagna the portions were massive the food was very nice and well presented.viewed other dishes being served and all very nice and also big portions.staff were very busy but on top of the job.the pub was busy but not noisey and plenty of big screens for the footie and other sports.prices very good for such big portions will use again for sure.

I drop in here from time to time when I'm in town ( I'm a "cheuchter" from the country) so a nice pint is always a welcome wet of ones whistle! You only need to turn your head a few degrees and a television will be within view. Great if you like wall to wall football. Pub food is on offer as is tea coffee and beverages. good atmosphere and clean toilets. Good and safe place to have a drink.
