This lovely little cafe is wonderful, food is beautiful especially the soup. Coronation chicken sandwich is beautiful. (Wouldn’t mind the recipe) 😛 the staff with disabilities are fabulous and the staff that take care of them are so admirable, wonderful job you do. The highlight of my visit this time round was the staff all laughing and having a great time while still remaining professional. I must say the atmosphere in the cafe is wonderful to see.

For a training enterprise Flycup are very regimented in some ways, whilst very lax in others. They don't seem to value their customers. After a considerable wait I was informed that I couldn't have an item on the brunch menu as it was after noon. However, the clock on the wall indicated otherwise. It was frustrating as due to some activities behind the counter carried over to the delay in getting our order taken. When the table next to ours vacated, the clearers sorted out the dirty dishes on ours for several minutes before carrying them to the kitchen - no acknowledgement was made that people were sitting eating their meal at the table. The prices are expensive for what is offered, however there appears to be little awareness of good customer service, customers will only return if they have had good food and also good customer service. The food was good, the prices were okay, except the prices didn't reflect the mediocre service provided.

A slight wait to be acknowledged by staff but eventually seated. Lady was very nice that showed us to our seat....unfortunately downhill from there. Ordered our meals and asked to pay immediately by our dour server. OK duly done when asked why we were told this is how our waitress liked to do it. Paid then waited and waited ..Two out of 3 meals come out (they say this ain't bad). We waited for the third meal and we had to ask for it in the meantime the other meals had lost some temperature. No cutlery on our table. Got from next table just as the 3rd meal arrived. Order was wrong also so first impressions not good. Ordered hot drinks and was surprised we didn't have to pay for them up front but it was a different waitress. Cannot say how good or bad the food was as it was luke warm. Did we complain no just made a note to avoid if poss but if your meeting up with other people you sometimes need to go with the flow....I might give this place another go but I will not be volunteering or recommending anytime soon.

The best homebakes in Inverurie, without a doubt. I’d heard very good things and sure was not disappointed. Strawberry tart, Victoria sponge, baileys cheesecake, Mars bar cheesecake (and more!) to choose from. Lovely setting, nice buzz about the place. Staff and service are excellent, prices are reasonable. Go to cafe in Inverurie for a fine piece.. love.

It is Christmas Day 2020 and we purchased a delivered Christmas dinner for three adults. I must say that it made our Christmas Day! Perfect from start to finish! The prawn cocktail starter was delicious, the turkey main beautiful, and the strawberry cheesecake and cream for desert, simply gorgeous! Thank you so much for the hard work that must have gone into the preparation, coordination and delivery of the meals! All perfect! Thank you all! This was our first order, we will be back next year for certain!

I went on the off chance of getting a snack today. I was really lucky, there was space. I opted for the chicken and veg stew and herb dumplings, they were delicious. Never mind I have order some to take away tomorrow. Pleasant, polite staff, lovely meal.

This is a nice cafe with lovely cakes but I was so disappointed today. I had a croissant which was split open and covered with grated cheese and only noticed after a few mouthfuls that I was eating a croissant that was uncooked apart from the outer layer. I felt annoyed that someone in the kitchen would split it, see it was just dough in the middle but serve it to me anyway. I got an apology but felt sickened. Just not good enough!

I have been going to The Fly Cup for several years now. The food is always of a high standard and the baking always tempting - I can never resist a "fine piece" I am so pleased that disabled people are employed there, and many do baking and cooking. Everyone is friendly and children are welcome. There is a room with toys in it and when I go there with my great grandchildren- they make a bee line for it. It keeps them amused till the food is served. You can even buy some baking to take home! I was also at a Christmas luncheon they catered and everyone was vey pleased with it.

I took my 22 month old granddaughter at the weekend. The food was delicious, well presented and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and welcoming. My granddaughter really enjoyed the play room which is very well equipped and liked interacting with the older children wh were so sweet with her.. Sadly those very well behaved children (oldest 7) had to be taken away due to a complaint from two customers about the noise. This is something the patrons perhaps have to consider when seating customers so that the facilities can be enjoyed by all age groups.

This café is in the industrial estate but not far from the playpark so an ideal lunch stop with children. There is car parking too. I didn't know it existed until I received a flyer that was handed out one day in Inverurie and I thought we should give it a try. It was quite busy but the staff were lovely and explained we might have a bit of a wait but to be honest I thought it was a normal wait. I really like the menu for children and the fact that is was so reasonably priced. My son also had a hot chocolate after and he loved it. They had lots of lovely homebakes on display but I was so full up with my steak wrap that I didn't have any room to sample them. We would recommend and return again. Also just to mention there is a playroom for children but we didn't try it out as it was such a nice day outside and we had to get back to the park.

We are now regulars at the Seafield Arms as it is so good. It was my birthday and where else would we go for a special meal. This time, we tried the surf and turf block. We were not disappointed as the seafood and steak were cooked to perfection. As well as the fresh local vegatable selection. The hotel manager had to get up at 4am to get the lobster. That is dedication to perfection. Our friend had a sirloin steak, cooked to her satisfaction. Our daughter had the mac and cheese and was more than happy. The girls finished the meal with sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. Yum Yum. The service was professional and very friendly. We have a concern, what will we have to eat the next time as it is all so good.
