Lovely lunch today 2 roast beef dinners a beef pie and a chicken burger. Couldn’t fault it in the least. Very nice portions with good quality beef. Really tasty. Yes I agree the gravy was a little thin but it was very nice. Rather that than thick gravy thickened with too much flour. The chips were nice and veg was well cooked. The only downside was we were the only family eating a that particular time 12.30 Sunday. So come on residents of Westlinton keep your local restaurant open lots a lovely wee village kee some life in it. Keep up the good work.

My breakfast was spoiled by the overcooked eggs, yolks were burst and hard! 3 hairs found on plate!

Nice little cafe to stop for a decent coffee and lovely coconut and raspberry cake . Staff where very friendly and helpful. Ordered at counter and sat outside with my trusty dog Lexi, as no dogs allowed in side, which is fine. Lady asked on bringing my brew and cake if Lexi wanted a dog bowl, nice touch. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely time, and a big thanks to Karen @ the complex, a lovely lunch, with lots of TLC, and made the birthday lunch special. Followed by great kid’s entertainment with the animals & science show! Brilliant team, brilliant show, we will be back!! Thank you for going out your way to make us relaxed and happy!

This cafe has a really distinctive menu for its size with a choice of meat- fish- and plant-based dishes. They were extremely attentive to a very unusual dietary issue which involved them adapting several elements of one of their menu items. Both waiter and chef spoke to me before we settled on a dish. This was all handled in really friendly manner.

Wonderful and welcoming wee cafe within Gracefield Arts, lots of space between tables. Managed to grab a pot of tea, and homemade mint rocky road before it closed. Lots of delicious looking cakes on offer, very good value and affordable prices. Was able to dry off after a downpour, and not rushed. Then was able to visit the exhibition and look around the shop, which was full of lovely local crafts, good quality art cards and gifts

A lovely restaurant and bar serving freshly home cooked food. Portion sizes are good and the food was excellent. My wife is very fussy about her steak pies but loved the one she got here. I had scampi and it was good as well. The decor and surroundings don't scream "modern" but that is part of the charm. A warm welcome from the hosts (and the locals) in what clealy is a well loved community hub. The prices are very reasonable and while it's not the most extensive of menus you should be able to find something you like.
