What a fabulous find! This cute little cafe served up an amazing breakfast of Eggs Caledonia and a Full meat breakfast. Just excellent. The eggs Caledonia is served with black pudding instead of a typical meat and it is wonderful. I didn't think I would like it but it really is delicious. The homemade hollandaise sauce was the best ever! The staff were warm and inviting. Highly recommend this wonderful unassuming cafe.

What a lovely cafe run by two of the kindest people ever. I arrived exhausted after a cycle ride with miles still to go. They made me special gluten free rolls, I ate delicious vegan sorbet and they even defrosted a gluten free brownie to give me the energy to cycle up the hill to Inverness (and I did it)! Thank you!! Great coffee too. Small place with a big heart. Recommend 100%

Fabulous food and great service. Thoroughly recommend both the venison stew and the sea trout! Advisable to book as it’s not huge and it has a great reputation with the locals…

We loved our visit to Redburn Cafe. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and there was not trouble accommodating my diet. The coffee was really good too. Of course, the stars were the Highland Cows across the road. Buy a bag of pellets and feed the "Curly coos" The beautiful canine host was on a day off. Also purchase a photo form the owner. She is a photographer in the off season and has some great pictures for sale.

This is one of the most amazing dining experiences we’ve ever had. Everything they brought for us to eat was exquisitely presented and every bite was like a party for the taste buds. The chef is a master at creating the most delicious morsels of food that are also beautifully crafted. The service was impeccable and each part of the meal was carefully orchestrated so that there was time to enjoy each course. The first time we ate here was three years ago and this time we were as equally impressed as the first time. We look forward to coming back when we return to The Station at The Lovat ( which we also loved our stay at this most fabulous hotel)

We stayed at the hotel and ate at Station Road whilst there. The tasting menu 'Mor' was really out reason for staying and it didn't disappoint (neither did the hotel!). Started with a drink by the fire - a beautiful part of the hotel. Really excellent selection of drinks, nothing else you could possibly ask for. Great wine selection too, included a wide variety of British wines which is nice to see. The tasting menu started here too - with some small plates served. Creative cooking and tasty. We went for the worldwide wine pairing menu and were served a varied and interesting variety throughout. The lady serving the wines (I think maybe the owner of the hotel) was very knowledgeable and friendly - talked us through each course and wine as they arrived. The food was good, each course was different and interesting. Smoked eel and venison were delicious and stand outs for us - there was also some bread made freshly with grain native to the local areas, and the butters served with this were without a doubt some of the best I've ever tasted! The speed of service we found a touch slow - although this is very much tied to the cadence of other diners so not really a criticism. Start to finish, we were over 3 hours - so a long meal. Portions were very small (the perils of a tasting menu) and we did end the meal a little peckish! The 'Beag' menu featured similar styles of cooking but focused around some larger main dishes. Restaurant itself was beautiful, clearly a huge amount of attention to detail has gone into the whole experience. No doubt about it, it was an expensive meal - but I feel not unreasonable for the quality of cooking. Given the location, some premium on pricing is to be expected. One of the best dining experiences I've had in the North Central/East Highland, and in a beautiful part of the world. Fingers crossed for a star - well deserved for the whole team.

The first service person seemed annoyed at something and it certainly came across in our interaction which was a bad start but the second server had a much better temperament and made us feel more welcomed than our initial experience. The shop has lots of interesting foods to buy on the shelves as well as the food from the deli.

What a stunning location for a well equipped hostel. It’s virtually brand-new so everything is pristine and the facilities are amazing. The pub next door serves great food and the staff was so helpful and flexible with our arrival time, evening meal times and breakfast.

This is a must visit experience if you’re in the area. A little remote but definitely worth the effort. Outstanding food, all four of us had different mains and each one exceptional in their own unique way. The service was genuinely friendly and the atmosphere eclectic and warm. Visited on a Wednesday night and place was busy so recommend booking. Given the standard of food, excellent value for money.
