Tolles Ambiente. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wird von Einheimischen frequentiert. Vor kurzem neu/wiedereröffnet. Argentinische Inhaberin. Essen Mega lecker. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Tolle Auswahl. Ein paar gehobenerer Whiskies wären wünschenswert.

Absolutely superb food service and value for money. The food is so well cooked and presented and the dining experience very special . Would highly recommend.

Un petit restaurant de campagne dans une charmante petite maison mais quel festin! La patronne, adorable, est en salle et le mari en cuisine. Leurs plats sont délicieux et très copieux , le service parfait. On a goûté le canard, le gibier, les coquilles st jacques et les grosses crevettes sans oublier le fameux sticky toffee pudding, une spécialité écossaise qui doit faire au moins 500 calories à lui tout seul mais qui est une tuerie. Bref que du bon pour un prix très raisonnable. On reviendra

Our hosts at Highland Bear Lodge recommended this jewel for our 2nd nights dinner. The couple who own and run this small and high quality restaurant also have a lodge there. Our dinner was superb! With locally sourced, organic ingredients, the chef creates only the best of dishes. This lovely couple were a wealth of warm hospitality! Thank you for the memorable evening!!

An evening meal for three which was superbly prepared and delivered. The starters were just the right size. The main course were to die for, lamb, steak and venison. The choices of refreshments were well above a small restaurant like this, the craft ales are in everyone’s taste range. The service was superb and can’t be faulted, the chef (owner) even paid us a visit before the meal to greet us, nice personal touch. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend this to everyone. We’ll be back.

Nice, simple food. Nothing over the top but nothing to complain about either. Will we come again? Yes of course. For the price you pay you get a good meal and some lovely surroundings

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and they graciously accommodated us, even though the restaurant was heavily booked and busy. We had a fabulous starter of sautéed mushrooms. I highly recommend you try these if they are offered. We both had the fish and chips, which were excellent. Their menu is highly sophisticated, offering many European offerings. I highly recommend this establishment for the quality of their food and the graciousness of the hosts.
