Wonderful Sunday roast, great food and service as usual. We pre-ordered the roast chicken (called in the day before to ask for it as it is only roast beef on the menu and the chef was more than happy to accommodate it).

This is a hidden gem and you make it what you want it to be. The exhibit is small and understated, but the real gems are the young lads working there. They were music who loved to talk about their art and even demonstrated the bagpipes for us. They were wonderful.

Después de charlar sobre el entrante de pollo bang bang que había tenido un par de veces antes, Andrea trajo una pequeña muestra de él para que mi marido lo probara, que fue un toque encantador. Tenía el pollo limón con salsa korma para mi principal. Fue hermoso, pero me decepcionó que en lugar del tzatziki que decía que vendría, era más cohete con un aderezo. Teníamos un montón de cohete con el arrancador de vieiras, así que estaba decepcionado con eso, sin embargo, el resto del plato era maravilloso. El vino era precioso también. A cosy restaurant with stylish decor. I have dined here many times and have found all staff to be polite and courteous, John-Paul stands out in particular with his exceptional politeness and attentive manner. Bravissimo!

Monday quiz night is great! Ross hosting the quiz and Adam on bar was lovely. The quiz was fun and the atmosphere was great!

Scottish Tapas was served like warm, macaroni cheese was very buttery and cheese scant. I requested a spritz at the bar where it seemed it was not something they were enamoured to take the time to make despite the bar being almost empty. It was a family get together where there were elderly parents and aunts and cousins some of whom had literally just landed into Glasgow for the first time in 30 years. Teenagers are not welcome and the bar staff flapped and made it a bit of a drama. Strange since there’s a kid menu. My 2 teenagers arrived later into the meal and were refused service and I had to leave my entire family meal to take them away. Total drama and refusal of any kind of work around including not accepting my daughter’s NEC Young Scot card. Terrible attitude they were just desperate to turn us away. ‘We’ve already made allowances for you’ Disgraceful, totally ruined what should have been a special occasion. Feeling really let down. Brewdog next time who show so much more accommodation

Nice large pub in merchant city area of Glasgow Good food friendly staff

Busy, popular place. Can see why. Had a selection of small plates for 3 of us, wine went down well and staff were really friendly and efficient in spite of being run off their feet. Great night, thanks.

Went in for pre-drinks before a Christmas party night elsewhere & was very pleasantly surprised. The bar has a lovely feel, it was quiet where you could talk & a pianist playing music in the background to break any silences. Drinks aren't the cheapest but considering its location, I wasn't sure what to expect but I would certainly have no hesitation in going back.

Gracias por su estancia. Fue encantador poder sentarse afuera bajo el sol fuera de nuestra cápsula. No podríamos haber elegido un día mejor. El personal es muy amable y acogedor y, sin embargo, de nuevo la comida era increíble y la vaina estaba inmaculada y para terminar una gran noche de sueño. Definitivamente regresaré.

we have been here a few times & the food is beautiful as is the presentation. However the tables for 2 are ridiculously small if you have anything other than 2 plates you have no chance of being able to move an inch.
