Stailinn Scottish Kitchen Silverburn in Glasgow City

Pedí carne de res Stroganoff y Eglefino con patatas fritas. La calidad de ambas comidas era mala. Parte de la carne de res era masticable y la salsa tenía demasiados pepinillos. El pescado estaba un poco mosqueado y el rebozado no era tan crujiente como si estuviera congelado. Se sentía como un pub muy caro. No recomendaría.

Otra excelente comida, este lugar es una verdadera ventaja para Silverburn / la zona. El personal también es genial. Es un placer visitarla.

He estado un par de tiempo ahora y no puede culpar al personal o la comida muy recomendable. El precio también es razonable, tenía café era encantador y caliente sin sabor amargo x

Terrible servicio al cliente, la dirección no tiene ni idea de cómo hablar con la gente. Les dije hoy que allí Mac y queso lamentablemente no era agradable y me hizo sentir mal, lo que puse en conocimiento de un miembro del personal cuando se recogieron los platos, pero no hicieron nada en ese momento y al pedir la cuenta, el gerente con cabello rubio básicamente me llamó mentiroso y me dijo que comí la comida a pesar de que solo tenía un par de bocados! Servicio al cliente vil por desgracia y estará advirtiendo a todos que no puedo ir, ya que no pueden soportar críticas sobre nada y te tratará horriblemente, todavía tenía £ 120 billete para ser tratado como escoria!

Fantásticos Huevos Benedict y Tortitas con Plátano. Gran café y las tazas son tan lindas. Cócteles y Prosecco. ¿Qué más puedes querer? Gran ambiente y personal muy agradable y eficiente. Este es el lugar para descansar y relajarse antes, después o durante su ola de compras.

This is our first visit but will be back .the food and service was on point .the servers were very good at there job and very friendly .nothing was to much bother .thanks to all .

This was our second visit following a delicious breakfast the week before! Huge portions but very delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff, fast service and plenty of choice on the menu. Value for money!

We come here a lot as we love it however, our breakfast today was definitely deep fried. Bacon was so hard due to this. A final point...if your menu states stornoway black pudding, then this is what should be on the plate. I asked the waitress and she said she would check, sure enough "today it isn't stornoway" Treating your customers like they are fools...

One of our favourite restaurants, doesn't matter when you go, breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is amazing, top quality food, always fresh, always tastes great definitely a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went in the evening, didn’t book but got a table. Place was quiet. Starter of salmon and prawns was ok. Mediocre. Main chicken and haggis gluten free, was interesting slightly charred on the outside. The sauce was exceptional tasty, spicy really unique. Others had same and the burger which got a 10/10!

Great welcome and all staff were friendly and competent. Portion sizes for small plates are quite large so keep that in mind. Entrance is on the outside of the shopping centre. Good varied menu and can recommend the sweet potato fries. Tempura batter was a bit too thick but the dipping sauce packed a spicy punch. Definitely worth checking out.

Won't be back - average food, seats are terrible with no space whatsoever, service very slow and staff look bored, nobody seemed bothered anyway

Nice enough place. Portion size very big. However, the cups are plastic. I asked for a normal cup but they don’t have any. Who wants to drink hot coffee from a plastic beaker, certainly not me, it’s horrible so won’t be back.

Breakfast was spot on and staff good and good atmosphere. And will recommend to family and family. Would definitely go back

I've visited here twice now. Both times for Brunch with friends. It's been lovely both times. Lovely food, friendly service and nice decor. Need to return to sample some evening meals and drinks.

I am coeliac and this place is amazing have been 3 times now each time staff were so knowledgeable and the food is amazing !

Polite and helpful staff. Food tasty and portions great. Would definitely recommend. Only niggle, the balcony tables are very neat, not much elbow room, looks like they have sacrificed customers space and prioritised more covers/business/income/profit.

Went here for breakfast on the recommendation of the Silverburn staff. Amazing Breakfast!! You pick your items from an extensive list. Cost depends on the amount of items you select. No waste. The staff was friendly and accommodating and . nothing was a problem. Traditional hospitality is served by the most welcoming of people and a great team. We enjoyed it so much that we returned with family for an evening meal: Fantastic Evening meal!! Great value for money. Outstanding food enjoyed by all. Cullen skink was the best I have ever had, it was orgasmic. 👀!! All the meals were exceptional, the staff were attentive and extremely professional. We all enjoyed the whole experience and will most definitely be back. From the welcome from the front of the house to the waiting staff and chefs I would just like to say thank you guys. I used to be in the trade and I salute your ethos of getting the basics just right and then going the extra mile, you are a credit to your trade and you will indeed have us as new regulars anytime we are in Glasgow. We were shown to a table in the far corner of the restaurant with a very unpleasant view directly beside the fire door exit. Then we were told that 4 main meal options on the menu were unavailable - lamb, turkey, venison and scallops. Was extremely disappointed with our experience and that was even before we had sampled the food. The quality of the food was very average; the halloumi fries we ordered were severely overcooked and not edible. At no point were we asked if our meals were ok. Overall we were disappointed as I had high hopes for a family member who has to follow a gluten free diet and I had read great reviews. Would not rush back.

Been meaning to go for a Sunday roast for ages. Biggest draw was they did a proper gluten free roast with ALL the trimmings - roast potatoes, veg, gravy, Yorkshire puddings! The meat was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were superb. Did think the Yorkshire was a wee bit soggy, but that's my own fault for drowning it in gravy and not eating it quick enough 😂. Was also really impressed by the amount of gluten free desserts on offer. Good stuff too, not just the usual brownie.

Breakfast is a good as top hotel quality . Amazing quality and value considering a Costa toastie will cost you £5! Would thoroughly reccommend coming here and supporting a small business rather than these big chains.

This place is way more than I expected from silverburn. It’s quite elegant and a lovely atmosphere. Then the food, wow. Best food I’ve had in sometime, the seafood was to die for, I had seabass with king scallops, and it was to die for!!

The staff in Staillin are so lovely and helpful, the food is excellent and a good price. I would recommend a visit to Staillin.

My friend and I popped in here for some brunch and were pleased to find they serve breakfast until 2pm (it used to be until 12pm and then it was extended to 2pm). We both chose the ‘build your own’ breakfast option which has such a wide range of choice and terrific value. It was delicious and lovely presentation! Service was friendly and efficient too. The only wee thing to improve on would be 2 rashers of bacon instead of 1 :) It’s great to see an independent place in Silverburn instead of constant chains so please support them - it’s well worth a visit! I’m looking forward to returning to try their winter menu which looks lovely. Remember the entrance is from the outside (the old Prezzo) and then up the spiral staircase. Enjoy!

Visited here with friends on 27/10 and had a fantastic meal. Went back tonight and as I’d enjoyed the King Prawn Tempura main meal so much the last time I ordered the same again. The batter on the prawns was terrible and it was very greasy. When the waitress came to take my plate away she didn’t ask what was wrong with the food, even although I’d hardly eaten anything. I explained the situation to her and she said that she would speak to the chef. I wasn’t offered an alternative or a reduction to my bill

Been before a few weeks ago and was outstanding, very disappointing this time. Food mainly. I think the most disappointing element was the attitude from a member of the kitchen who clearly can’t cook .. doesn’t understand food hygiene and can’t take constructive criticism and stood glowering over the pass.
