What words come to mind when I think back on my experience at Condita? Heart, Desire, Innovation, Thought, Perspective, Playfulness, Intelligence and Beauty to only name a few. From the moment we arrived, the warmth we felt from not only the staff, but the ambiance, the restaurant itself, felt alive. Our hosts made us feel like family instantly, kindly taking our coats and seating us at our table (1 of only few) and discussing how our tour would unfold, from how the menu worked to a history of the wines they offered. Nothing was spared to give us the best understanding of just how much care was put into cultivating an amazing opportunity to eat, drink, learn, absorb and appreciate everything Chef and his team were there to do. The food, was unbelievable, each course was hit after hit, easily the best food I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve been to many places and tasted much). This menu was incomparable, and the wines were phenomenal accompaniments, taking each dish further than I thought possible. I’ve never had a better experience, and the next time I’m in Edinburgh, Condita will be where I’m found. Bravo to the team, you far exceeded any expectation that I may have had, you hit the land running and burned the all of the shipsb. But that’s enough from me.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Aizle, the food was delicious, and we were very well looked after by the team who took time to explain each dish with knowledge and charm. It was, however, a shame about the Mice!! Whilst I may have turned a blind eye to a mouse scurrying into a corner, we witnessed consistent raids into the middle of the restaurant throughout dinner. The staff seemed unfazed, suggesting this was a common occurrence. I am disappointed that the team have not responded to my emails, in direct response to their email requesting feedback. I would avoid until rodent situation has been acknowledged, and bought under control.

Encantador rollo de enlace, las salchichas son deliciosas y café con leche perfecto y grandes precios! Ambas damas detrás del mostrador son tan amables y acogedoras, sin duda volveré ☺️

A hidden gem….What a wonderful place! Friendly staff and amazing food. And for the ladies… the powder room is a must see.

Salimos de los caminos turísticos para probar estos rollos de salchichas. Vale la pena el tiempo y el esfuerzo. Pudín negro y haggis, cerdo tradicional y una carne picante se comieron entre los dos. Absolutamente delicioso. Bonitos rellenos gruesos y apretados. Nada de escatimar en las carnes. No demasiado grande, justo. 10 libras por tres, más que contento.

Had dinner here on a tuesday. Got The Edinburgher ( With Haggis ) and Haggis Neeps and Tatties.  Both tasted amazing. The service was wonderful and even looked around to find us some cards to play with. Lovely atmosphere with a great and extensive collection of Whisky, local and foreign. Excited to come back next year!

Truly original, this is a great bar. No food, no music, just a great atmosphere.

I come here for my birthday and loved it, the sandwiches and cakes in the afternoon tea are plentyful and fresh. The tea selection is amazing I had the summer afternoon and it was fab, the views so stunning and their is highland cows on the grounds 😍 and the customer services was literally the best and I do alot of afternoon teas in many places and Derek who worked there was amazing so kind and welcoming the guy makes the experience 100%.

My wife and stayed nearby and found this hidden gem while on a walk. We arrived without a booking and had a short wait in the bar before being shown to a table. The menu is varied; I had the beef burger, which was tasty, while my wife had the pumpkin puttanesca. She loved it! The service was good, the food was tasty and the G&Ts and beer come quickly (after discovering they were out of Hendricks). We left sated, all for £50. Worth a visit!

Estábamos aquí para celebrar el Día de la Madre. El personal era genial y la comida era deliciosa. Gracias a todos los que lo hicieron un día especial. Y agradecimiento especial a Emelise que nos hizo reír cuando llegamos muy temprano.

No problem with finding a table on a busy Saturday evening could of been a bigger table for 4 people, little cramped once the food arrived, sharing platter well presented and tasty, main course choices good ,friendly and helpful waitress.

We were very satisfied, the hotel 🏨 was fantastic and beautiful. The service was simply fantastic. It's centrally located in Edinburgh.

Staff for the most part were great. Very attentive. The food was the main letdown. The langoustine tortellini was disappointing, and the "beef wellington" was not a beef wellington. Disappointing for the price tag and absolutely will not be going back. I feel it would only be worth going for the two-course deal, but even then there are many other places I would rather go.
