A hidden gem….What a wonderful place! Friendly staff and amazing food. And for the ladies… the powder room is a must see.

We called in after visiting the garden centre so glad we did the food was fantastic and so filling plenty of choice on menu very fairly priced ample portions a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff highly recommend a visit

Although had to wait awhile for our order to be taken, we were in no hurry, once the food arrived it was delicious

Fui a visitar el restaurante el lunes. Pedimos porciones grandes que estaban deliciosas y muy grandes. Sin quejas. Normalmente, las porciones grandes en los restaurantes no son grandes. Éstas eran. Tenía Cullen Skink, el mejor que he probado en mi vida. No puedo calificar este lugar lo suficiente. El equipo fue genial y muy amable. Además, ser amigable con los perros es una ventaja. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaré.

He estado aquí con amigos unas cuatro veces y cada visita ha sido una delicia. La amplitud del menú, tradicionalmente deliciosa, es perfecta.

Mi esposo y yo nos detuvimos a comer algo. No habíamos reservado una mesa, pero fue acomodado. El servicio al cliente era fantástico y la comida también era genial. Había un trato con las hamburguesas - hamburguesa y jugo para 8. 95. Posiciones de buen tamaño también. Volveremos

Elegì este precioso lugar para celebrar mi cumpleaños sin saber la experiencia maravillosa que iba a tener. Mùsica tradicional de Escocia, Danzas y la comida tìpica .todo excelente. muy recomendado para toda la familia.Un lugar de encanto.

The Scots take their Pub Culture very seriously and a visit to 'The Stables' would prove that. The place has an amazing vibe to it and there is no way any aspect of dining that can go wrong here.The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, the desserts are lip-smacking and the music is going to keep you on your toes. If you are in town do not hesitate to drop by for dinner. I am sure you would enjoy too.

Este es un restaurante ubicado en un establos que se ha convertido en un gran restaurante es una verdadera trampa de sol si comer fuera en un día agradable en el equipo los días más fríos el el fuego de ir así que es cálido y acogedor. El personal es acogedor y amable, el menú es variado, con un montón de platos a elegir. La comida es deliciosa y las porciones caliente de buen tamaño y gran postres y crema muy rica y coberturas de hielo agradable. Una gran experiencia y una buena relación calidad-precio. Gracias a su equipo por una gran visita.

Acogedor y atractivo en cualquier época del año, los establos reúne intimidad pub con excelente comida y bebida y agradable y atento, pero servidores transparentes. La falta de estimulación visual de audio (no los televisores a todo volumen o música) y la actitud del personal de rush permite conversar a un ritmo pausado. Una cambio bienvenido de algunos pubs y especialmente el American Sports Bar!

Een sfeervolle ontvangst. Lekker eten en een avondvullende show met veel variatie. De optredens waren super. De haggisceremonie was top. Wij hadden een prettige avond en hebben er echt van genoten.

Per il nostro viaggio a Edimburgo per l'ultima sera abbiamo prenotato con l'agenzia "Scozia tour" una cena con show di musica e danza tradizionale scozzese.The Stables è fuori dal centro di Edimburgo quindi per arrivarci e per tornare in hotel abbiamo preso il taxi.La prima cosa che abbiamo notato appena arrivati è stata la folla che scendeva dai pullman, veramente tanta gente di cui moltissimi erano anziani, scopriremo poi provenienti da tutto il mondo. Dopo un'accurata accoglienza ci è stato indicato il tavolo dove avremmo cenato e quasi immediatamente abbiamo avuto la prima sorpresa.In un grosso salone ben arredato con molte tavole rotonde imbandite ce n'è una con due italiani uno scozzese (simpaticissimo) sposato con una francese accompagnata da due francesi e quattro americani (molto cordiali ed educati). È una barzelletta? No, questa è la simpatica tavolata per la cena tipica scozzese con show alla quale abbiamo preso parte.Lo show con canti e balli scozzesi è stato molto bello, a volte commovente altre divertente come quando vengono invitate delle persone a caso a partecipare alle danze tipiche scozzesi, forse un po' troppo lungo ma bello, è servito a eliminare quasi del tutto l'imbarazzo di trovarsi in una tavolata del genere. Per quanto riguarda il cibo invece ci vorrebbe un capitolo a parte, forse non sapere cosa si sta mangiando può aiutare come ad esempio nel caso del Haggis (buono), mi aspettavo molto di più dal filetto di angus che ho trovato troppo asciutto, con una buona apertura mentale però si riesce a mangiare quasi tutto grazie anche ad un buon vino (sud africano) . Perché sud africano? In Scozia, in una cena scozzese mi aspettavo di bere scozzese. A fine cena è stato servito un caffè che per un italiano dopo cena era quasi offensivo, alla richiesta di un espresso la risposta è stata un secco no. Ahiahiaiai.La seconda seconda sorpresa è stata scoprire che l'importo pagato per la prenotazione era da completare una volta al ristorante, sicuramene è stata una nostra svista ma è meglio sapere che se si prenota con l'ottima agenzia "Scozia tour" poi c'è da aggiungere la differenza.Comunque la serata è stata gradevole e rimarrà un bel ricordo di Edimburgo.

Amable, rápido y eficiente servicio y me las arreglé para encontrar una mesa aunque estaban muy ocupados y no habíamos reservado. Buena variedad en el menú y no demasiado caro. El restaurante estaba lleno con una buena mezcla de gente de negocios, parejas y amigos de encuentro de jubilados para el almuerzo. Tuve la sobresaliente y piña que estaba muy caliente y sabroso, y mis dos amigos tenían el tamaño pequeño parte de la carne y ale tarta.

A real cosy atmosphere with family or friends. Good selection of food to suit everyone. Good service friendly staff reasonable price definitely worth a visit. For dog lovers a real treat. Eat inside or outside

Este lugar es increíble. Éramos un grupo de 12 adultos y niños. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos, nuestra mesa era amplia, la comida era increíble, muy sabrosa y sabrosa. Nadie en nuestro grupo me decepcionó con su elección. Tuvimos una comida familiar leasurely y nunca nos sentimos presionados a comer y dejar. Confía en mí, lo he tenido en otros lugares. Un grupo de 8 asistieron a la cena y espectáculo de invierno wonderland" y fue una magnífica noche de Navidad comprobar. Los establos son maestros en poner estas grandes espectáculos en un entorno fantástico de la cuadra de Casa prestonfield estable.

Fue elegido para la noche en la visita. scotish Nos indemnice adecuadamente un buen 4 platos de la cena y un excelente espectáculo. Como es principalmente una atracción turística, que sirve mucha gente en el mismo tiempo, dejando que el espacio para ver el espectáculo no es fácil para el personal. Usted puede elegir entre dos comidas en cada uno de los 4 platos, por supuesto tienes haggis. Mostrar estaba muy bien, teníamos música, baile, precioso imágenes escena. 2 horas de gran espectáculo. Fotos de rodaje no domésticos,.

Troede, at jeg skulle se et langt mere autentisk skotsk show. I stedet blev jeg introduceret til ren følelsesporno i et lettere plat home coming show, hvor størstedelen af publikum var amerikanere. Maden var hellere ikke specielt fremragende. Brødet var f.eks. tørt og dagsgammelt. Ikke imponerende!!!

The stables is a fantastic venue for a charity event. We were there for an event in aid of Alzheimer's . Event staff were fantastic.

The food was amazing and serving over 300 is hard to mainatain quality. The tablet with the coffee was the best i have tasted.

We were here for Hogmanay and had a good time. There was plenty of entertainment so it was a fun night although it was expensive. Good food too. The location is good with plenty of parking.

Overall great value for money. Scottish dancing, bagpipes, singing and traditional haggis celebration

The Taste of Scotland Show is the best value in Edinburgh and a terrific night of food and entertainment. We have been 6 times and every time, the groups think it is the best night of their stay in Scotland. It is a great way to indulge in your Scots heritage and to enjoy the traditional songs.

Had lunch with family and it was great. we enjoyed ourselves a lot, the venue is beautiful and the pub inside is well done and kept. Staff was very friendly too. definitely a place to experience.

Came for our Hogmanay meal,was great as usual,we even brought my dad with us this year,and they even have smaller portions for the ,,,old yins which suited him down to the groundSteaks,service,fire and the Guinness was great what more do you want

If you are looking for some really good quality, home made bar food this is the place to go. It is warm and friendly and has good beer as well. I am a regular visitor and the food is consistent.You won't be disappointed

Had my two uncles up from Ayr and Castle Douglas and my husband and I took them along to the Stables for lunch. We were promptly served by our very friendly and cheery waitress and the food was top class, hearty servings and served piping hot. We were all very pleased with our meals and could find no fault in quality, variety of options of meals and of course the set price of the courses means you dont have to worry about what you order being any more expensive than those eating with you!Was actually here for my brothers 60th birthday party in Oct last year and was so impressed with the quality and service that said we would try again and so pleased we did. Will be back!!

It was situated in a lovely park with old fashioned buildings.The menu catered for all.The food was first class and service brilliant.The lady waitress was cheery and helpful will strongly recomend it.Will be back and i come from Ayr.

Best show on Edinburgh! Never tasted haggis so good! Cailin the lead tenor had a great performance, so good that we bought his cd!

Always busy and always decent food served by friendly, chatty staff. I wish the windows were bigger so I could see outside, but hey, it's a minor thing. Oh and while I'm in a picky mood - could you put more rice with the curry please? That's it - no real moans could be found here unless you were a food critic - they always moan! :)

Went here for a cosy lunch and was not disappointed, warm blazing fire and nice friendly staff. I had salad which was lovely my hubby had fish and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. We'll definitely be back.

I went here just before Christmas with my 23 year old daughter and my aged parent; we have been going here for years in various guises with occasionally longer gaps between visits-but it is always good. The food is very tasty the service is excellent (Forbes is a star even though he is a Jags fan!) and the bar is very cosy (though I personally would prefer a larger choice of beers/ales)

The stables were amazing! The food and staff were lovely and if I could have another wedding there, I totally would!

Family group went here as a pre Christmas night out to what was billed as 'The Cool Yule' and it exceeded all expectations. Fantastic space within the round Stables of Prestonfield House Hotel. the night started with cocktail before we were seated at tables of 10. The show started with the Big Band playing Christmas classics with the singers & dancers joining in. Starters were served and cleared and we got more entertainment. Main was served followed by more music & dancing & singing, sweet came, and followed yet again with more entertainment. After the coffee it was everyone on the dance floor for a fantastic evening of dancing and songs from the band & singers. Staff were superb with whole tables being served at once and cleared, food as you would expect from Prestonfield House was very good, a 1/2 bottle of wine per person was included in the price and the very attentive but discrete staff made sure your glass was kept topped up. Nice touch was that they made sure there was always a jug of iced water on the table. Overall a fantastic night of food & entertainment in a wonderful venue

We picked up a flyer on The Stables at Prestonfield House. It sounded like a nice evening out and boy was it. Very elegant surrounings but the atmostphere was casual so jeans were a common sight. The dinner was grand and the entetainment was delightful. We got to see and hear some of the history that is Scotland. Singing, dancing, bag pipes playing all topped of with the story of "haggis" complete with a sampling for all (if you dare). The seating was tables of about eight so we had good conversation also. And evening well spent.
