A true hidden gem. Gorgeous coffee and a well-curated selection of tasty sandwiches. The young woman at the helm on the day I visited was rushed off her feet, but doing an amazing job. Big up to her. I’d like to have seen her sleepy-looking male colleague do more to assist her than nonchalantly rolling a fag in the back room. Maybe he was on his break? I mean him no disrespect, but he was “on display”, chilling out, and she was as busy as hell. It wouldn’t have killed him to help her out. That said, I will definitely return. Looking forward to it already!

They appear to have closed but are giving no information!!! I have a voucher as I have seen other people write here and I can't get any response or money back. It's atrocious. Surely they cannot keep socials open and be listed in Michelin guide when they've gone under by the looks of it. But why so secret with no note that they have closed??

Excellent breakfast and lovely coffee

We had dinner with nine people at the end of our vacation and spent the whole afternoon there. Each of us chose different dishes and desserts from the menu - everything was excellently prepared and tasted at the highest level. We would particularly like to highlight the great service provided by Dean and his colleagues, who looked after us attentively, warmly and professionally throughout the afternoon. The whiskey selection was also excellent – ​​the 29-year-old Scotch was a real highlight. Many thanks to the entire team for this unforgettable end to our vacation!

We were gifted a voucher for our 50th anniversary and the experience did not disappoint! From walking in the door you were transported back to another era. The decor and finishings were very well done and all the little touches were very authentic. The afternoon tea was amazing and very well paced. The food was all freshly made to order and it was a nice touch getting to choose your own sandwich fillings. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. A return visit is definitely going to happen for us.

Very cool venue, lovely staff, great food! Well priced. I got the vege roast, it was so good! As well as the vegan sticky date pudding!

Their tacos are quite pathetic. There's not much more to say about their food.

A Perfect Friday Afternoon Dining Experience This is by far my favourite restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and personable, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Their warm and genuine approach makes a great experience We chose the set lunch menu with the wine flight, which offered amazing value for money. The only difficulty was deciding what to order from such a well-curated and tempting selection of dishes. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, with the wine pairings expertly chosen to complement every bite. A standout moment was when Tom personally came out to speak with diners—such a great touch. From start to finish, everything was perfect—from the food to the service. An excellent way to spend a Friday afternoon, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Très bon petit déjeuner écossais. Assez copieux. Remplissage gratuit du thé ce qui est appréciable le matin. L’établissement est très propre et cosy. Le personnel est très attentionné et de bon conseil. Le haggis est goûteux et épicé.
