A true hidden gem. Gorgeous coffee and a well-curated selection of tasty sandwiches. The young woman at the helm on the day I visited was rushed off her feet, but doing an amazing job. Big up to her. I’d like to have seen her sleepy-looking male colleague do more to assist her than nonchalantly rolling a fag in the back room. Maybe he was on his break? I mean him no disrespect, but he was “on display”, chilling out, and she was as busy as hell. It wouldn’t have killed him to help her out. That said, I will definitely return. Looking forward to it already!

Great find after a wander round some Leith shops. Interesting layout, coffee and cake were excellent and the staff really welcoming and friendly. No pressure to do anything except relax - just wish I'd had longer to enjoy the atmosphere...and have another cake!

Me detuve aquí para tomar un café y terminé quedándome todo el día terminando mi libro y charlando con el personal absolutamente encantador. El gerente, Caitlin, fue especialmente amable y hace un excelente café, ¡y los sándwiches y pasteles también son deliciosos! Definitivamente vale la pena una visita si estás en Leith y buscas un lugar acogedor con asientos cómodos y comida sabrosa y barata.

¡Llegué a tomar un café y terminé quedándome durante más de una hora discutiendo películas con otros clientes! Personal realmente encantador, especialmente el gerente que tenía un cabello increíble, un café excelente y un ambiente realmente creativo.

Tucked away in Leith, a little gem of a find. Fab menu, great coffee - even has a selection of diary alternatives - cakes & sweet treats are amazing, I had the Honeycomb crunch, Spectacularly tasty!! Lovely lady serving - Caitlin, welcoming & friendly. Good prices too. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.😁

Inverleith ParkQué bueno tener este pequeño 'puesto callejero' en el hermoso parque Inverleith. Los cafés son frescos, fuertes y buenos y los postres rotativos pueden tener sus viejos favoritos como galletas de chispas de chocolate o nuevos artículos imaginativos que puede descubrir. Me encanta que siempre tengan un tazón de agua fresco para perros. ¡Toma una cuppa y disfruta del parque!

North Meadow WalkLast year, mum and I found Max Bakes. Mum had haggis and black pudding and I had feta and spinach. I had never had haggis or black pudding (always put off by the ingredients 🤦♀️) I tried mums and vice versa...both were delicious! This year we planned to hunt Max Bakes down, worrying he may not be here this year, and much to our delight we found him in the exact same spot! (later we found out he is a permanent fixture not just for The Fringe) We order two haggis and black pudding rolls and they were as good as we remembered! Two very happy travellers 😁

36 Main StreetSuper little cafe, welcoming and well run. Dog friendly. Menu is limited however, if they're not too busy, other options are available on request such as full English breakfast. No obvious vegan options, other than toast. Oat milk available and gluten free bread. Freshly cooked food and really nice coffee. Full of locals, which is always a good sign!
