Once again a wonderful dining experience at Season Quayside for their Valentine’s pop up evening. A thoughtfully crafted menu, perfectly delivered and generous portions made this once again a memorable experience. Delighted to have been able to treat my Valentine with a great value meal and in comfortable and tasteful surroundings. Season Quayside provides wonderful food, a great space space for dining and entertaining alike and outstanding value overall. I’ll be back!

A lovely evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day over four courses of well presented and delicious food. Good atmosphere in the conservatory dining room space. Very friendly staff, perfectly timed courses each packed with brilliant flavours. My favourite the fillet of beef. Well worth returning for other pop ups in the future!

Super little cafe, welcoming and well run. Dog friendly. Menu is limited however, if they're not too busy, other options are available on request such as full English breakfast. No obvious vegan options, other than toast. Oat milk available and gluten free bread. Freshly cooked food and really nice coffee. Full of locals, which is always a good sign!

Last year, mum and I found Max Bakes. Mum had haggis and black pudding and I had feta and spinach. I had never had haggis or black pudding (always put off by the ingredients 🤦♀️) I tried mums and vice versa...both were delicious! This year we planned to hunt Max Bakes down, worrying he may not be here this year, and much to our delight we found him in the exact same spot! (later we found out he is a permanent fixture not just for The Fringe) We order two haggis and black pudding rolls and they were as good as we remembered! Two very happy travellers 😁

Unpretentious, friendly, homemade, affordable. Not easy to find cafe's like this so close to the city centre.
