The best restaurants serving British food in Edinburgh and Lothian

Nos encontramos con este pequeño restaurante dirigido por marido y mujer por casualidad. Su comida es fabulosa. Tenía su mezcla de marisco, su sopa Cullen Skink y su filete Aberdeen Angus Sirloin en diferentes ocasiones. Los tres platos fueron las comidas con mejor sabor de la historia. Vale la pena cada centavo. Muy recomendable.

i had a lovely cup of coffee with my mum it was so peaceful. was a bit tricky to find but we found it eventually!!!!! i also went to the one in roseburn which was a super nice experience. it was a trouble getting parked but we found one.

Unpretentious, friendly, homemade, affordable. Not easy to find cafe's like this so close to the city centre.

Reserva telefónica muy eficiente y llamada de seguimiento el día anterior para confirmar la reserva. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos cuando todos llegamos. Buena selección de menús y amplia gama de vinos. La comida y el servicio excelente, el personal era muy atento y sabía su oficio. Un bonito toque por parte del personal al final de nuestro almuerzo al traer una pizarra de "felicitaciones". . . . . ¿Recomendaría la torre? Mama's Munchies is more than a snack van; they are a part of our local community. You don't just go to Mama's for a roll an' slice, Margo and Nicole will brighten your day with their big smiles, pleasant and friendly manner and top banter! The snack van is spotless and in a really convenient and easy to reach location. They in my case were particularly accommodating of my autistic son's restrictive diet and made sure he would be comfortable with his order. As far as he is concerned they are "FIVE!" (Stars) and so am I. My daughter (also autistic though slightly less food restrictive) and I also loved our food which was perfectly cooked and not swimming in grease like we've experienced at many other snack places. I couldn't recommend them highly enough! Get yourself over there for some fantastic food!

Had a vegan blt honestly the best sandwich a have in my whole life also had a vegan Rocky road had the best marshmallow I ever had.

Qué bueno tener este pequeño 'puesto callejero' en el hermoso parque Inverleith. Los cafés son frescos, fuertes y buenos y los postres rotativos pueden tener sus viejos favoritos como galletas de chispas de chocolate o nuevos artículos imaginativos que puede descubrir. Me encanta que siempre tengan un tazón de agua fresco para perros. ¡Toma una cuppa y disfruta del parque!

Excellent for gluten free, or vegans, or normal people. Best gf cakes, scones and breakfasts in Scotland. Aubrey and his team are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. Definitely go.

They appear to have closed but are giving no information!!! I have a voucher as I have seen other people write here and I can't get any response or money back. It's atrocious. Surely they cannot keep socials open and be listed in Michelin guide when they've gone under by the looks of it. But why so secret with no note that they have closed??

Unusual soup choice, celeriac and chestnut was delicious and came with bread and butter. My husband had an egg and cucumber sandwich, we both had tea and I had a slice of fruit loaf which was moist and tasty. Run by volunteers, the service is not always the quickest but the staff are all helpful and kind. I asked for a plaster as husband had cut his finger and we were given one and a spare for later. Very reasonably priced and charity boxes in lieu of tips.

My wife had acute disease and I cancelled my reservation 6 hours before, called the restaurant nobody answered and was charged for reservation. Incredible !!! Below the response is a lie. I called at least 4 hours before reservation and it was a serious sickness and nobody picked up the phone. I have evidence! A restaurant that lies!!!
