It's quite a unique pub in Dundee I think. I'm willing to bet it hasn't changed much in the last 50 years, very traditional. Great pub grub, I mean, where else are you going to get a pint of chips? Well worth a visit, give our a go. Oh, and it's walking distance from the new, world class, V&A.

The 'whole tail scampi' is a misrepresentation, it was more like frozen processed fish coujons .also 1 guest had fish but a good portion was batter only Prices are good but would rather have better quality with an extra £ or so. Staff very accomodating and friendly., top marks to them.

Lively bar next to the Old Course in St Andrews. Expect to hear a lot of golf-related conversations! I had Caesar salad and salmon, both of which were very good, and served promptly by friendly staff. Has outside seating, which seemed very popular.

Really disappointed with our visit. I had friends visiting from out of town and had really hyped this up as I am a regular and usually love it. I booked a table for 4 and my friend brought her baby with her, the table we were given did not have space for a pram - this was ok my friend was going to move the pram, it did not need to be at the table as she was planning to take him out to feed. However, the waitress offered to move us to a bigger space which I initially thought was really nice and accommodating until she made two unnecessary rude comments including ‘there is no way a pram is fitting in there, I wish people would include kids on their booking’ and ‘you would be amazed how many people forget about their kids’. This was completely rude and unnecessary. It was an honest change of plan which was easily sorted and if she had thought to have a conversation with us, we would have come up with a solution. But to offer a solution (which was very appreciated) and follow it up with snide comments was unfair. The food was great as always, unfortunately I will not be able to return with these friends. It’s hard enough as a new mum to navigate outings, let alone with this attitude.

This is an upmarket restaurant in a delightful estate (Duchally) ten minutes south-east of the Gleneagles resort. Just off the A823. The dining room is principally divided into two sections - two lovely rooms, boldly decorated. The food is excellent, well presented, innovative and tasty. Top marks. It isn’t cheap but……we managed just over the ton for two. Though only two glasses of wine and a single, shared starter and dessert. 12.5% service added. Try it I am pretty sure you will relish the experience. I will just also mention the young, very obliging table staff. Thanks to you all.

I would come back from Glasgow again for a lunch here. Pub grub doesnt do it justice, The portions are huge. The steak pie would have fed 2 people . Stewing steak was succulent and plentiful. Our bill for 2 meals and a starter was £22. Honestly, for a wee pub the meals were top notch. 👌
