We booked dinner for 2 through a phone call and collected from the West End Bar at the time we had specified (delivery is available). Every course was extremely ambitious, delicious and very well presented. There was a very small amount of cooking for us to do at home to complete the main course but this was well worth it. The ingredients are locally sources and the producers listed on the menu. We have tried a few similar take home menus in Edinburgh but this was superior. The menu changes each week making return visits very tempting.

I bought lunch for my wife and I, my wife got a cheeseburger and onion rings and I got a panini, and I have to say BEST PANINI EVER, I can't express how good the food is and as a chef with over 10 years experience, I have to admit they are my guilty pleasure. Sarah and her husband are so kind and friendly. I recommend them highly

What an amazing experience. The service was friendly and personable. The food was absolutely fantastic - every course complimented the last. The wine pairings were fantastic, great choices from the sommelier. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the true Scottish coast. An absolute must visit.

We had a superb three course meal at The Rockies, Anstruther on Friday 16th May. This was a return visit as we had first discovered this fantastic wee restaurant two years ago and had to revisit when back in The East Neuk. We were pleased our favourite starters of camenbert and haggis bon bons were on offer which were followed by excellent main courses of steak, venison pie and such a generous haddock that the dog was very pleased with its 'doggie bag" later. The sweets were a delight and we can recommend the bread and butter pudding, which was light and just the right sized portion, as was the panacotta. A special mention goes to the staff; the service was excellent from friendly and attentive locals who made us feel very welcome. It was also very good value for money. Thank you for a perfect evening.

Outstanding dinner in historic coaching inn. We had the fried brie and duck breast appetizers. I had the venison casserole which was one of the best dishes I've had in Scotland. If staying at the inn, make a reservation at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

We were staying at Monturpie caravan park in our Motorhome. The food in the restaurant is amazing, we visited for lunch and dinner. The views from the site are breathtaking and Duncan and the staff are very friendly and helpful, we will definitely return.

Called in at the 9 Shore St, Anstruther bakery shop of GH Barnett. Lots of calories to chose from. Having made my decision my wife noticed a slice of Tipsy cake. Childhood memories. Treat all those many years ago was Tipsy cake surrounded by marzipan. Never see it now. This Tipsy cake was made with icing but its the sponge you really want to taste. I have now decided Anstruther should be known for Tipsy cake rather than chips. I'll be back.
