The best restaurants serving British food in Northern Ireland

Waited 40 minutes for our food (breakfast) and it was clear that the young staff ‘feared’ the man / cook in the kitchen . I’m my view his attitude was not acceptable and he came across as a bully just watching how he spoke with the staff and their reaction. Other than that the food was good, abd the young staff were all friendly and pleasant, but I don’t think I would go back purely because of how the staff were treated.

Estuvimos cinco días en el hotel. El desayuno buffet es excelente. Sólo comida que tuve. Guinness es muy buena. El servicio es estupendo. El salón es muy cómodo

Lovely selection of light lunches,desserts and scones presented well. Great service from the 2 lads on the counter, our food server was helpful and chatty and the man making the tea even warmed up the cups! Very reasonably priced with obliging staff, stairs or lift up to cafe and not forgetting all the plants downstairs!

Oh dear —— a good food shopping facility. No qualms on that front no sir management are focused in that regard. On two other fronts — well management is perhaps out doing lunch with the secretary ( male or female ) visa / versa and all that. It is rather in the the theatre of the ablution facilities that focus is out of kilter with the more enlightened large 2023 shopping outlets. Take for example the becoming more obsolete layout in toilet in airports etc etc such as doors / door handles by which to enhance the practise of the “ none hand washing fraternity “ as they depart the aforementioned room being done away with. This contributor to Tripadvisor can only pass comment on the observation made on the numerous visits to avail of the aforementioned room within this large good premises. The other large UK wide retailer close by has a more up to speed toilet set up. On a visit very recently to Sainsbury’s of Sprucefield I had occasion to make use of the foreign currency cockpit / booth ( for that is what it is) adjacent to the shop goods check out area. Dire—— why dire ?????? A most cordial invite is extended to “The Management” to dander into any Santander high street bank to view the setup / layout of how the bank staff are positioned at an eye level height to that of the visiting customer. This as opposed as to what exists at the Sainsbury experience ( particularly for more senior citizens who may have hearing impairment) having to bend over/down to try to pick up what the staff member behind the glass partition is articulating via pathetic small low down mounted audio speakers. Time that someone made fresh appraisal of the out of step little money shop in the set up. Sainsbury’s a good food shop end of story.

Lovely place and lovely decor. Food is great although if you're a plain eater it wouldn't be the best place in the world, but they will try to cater for everyone.

Primera visita - esperó casi una hora para la comida; el café llegó y estaba frío para cuando se sirvió la comida. muchos clientes en después de todos servimos primero. Me dijeron que nuestra orden se había caído, pero nunca se disculpó. Me cobraron 60 peniques extra por un café descafeinado, y 60 peniques más por agua caliente para calentar la bebida! El cajero no se disculpó y me culpó por no solicitar que el café se sirva con la comida. Lo triste es que la comida era buena cuando finalmente llegó, pero frente a la casa necesita atención urgente.

Por lo general bastante bueno. Estaba hambriento y deseaba llevar a cabo - patatas fritas demasiado cocidas y grasientas, salchichas rebozadas vil! ¡Todavía con hambre!

The most awfulvscampi I've ever encountered. I accept you don't expect wonderful food in a supermarket café but this was horrible. Chips and peas were okay but the scampi itself was cheap and nasty. Never again!

18 of Killicomaine Jubilee Club went here for our Christmas Lunch. The room was freezing ( a member of staff did bring a tiny fan heater out). No Christmas decorations on the tables, not even a cracker or Christmas napkins. No background music. The turkey parcels were only half ones, one cocktail sausage, one roast potato and mashed potatoes Roast beef dinner consisted of 2 wafer thin slices and same as above without the cocktail sausage. Plenty of vegetables. The dessert wasn't the greatest either. Our end of year meal and venue was so disappointing. One of the members described it as soulless and that's what it was at a cost of £19.95 each. Not a bit of wonder we were the only one's there

Great venue, clean and with friendly staff. Security where tight and polite and treated everyone respectfully. Enjoyed the production that NI Oldskool and Retro Trax provided, absolutely amazing night of music 🎶 looking forward to a return trip 🤞🏻

Poor this time unfortunately. we are regulars. but this order had burger completely wrong (no onions or cheese). forgot kids juice and tub of sauce we ordered

Había organizado un almuerzo familiar para el cumpleaños 40 de mi hermana. Aparecimos, y el lugar fue cerrado. No se dio ninguna explicación y nadie contestó el teléfono. Luego, grupo tras grupo, aparecieron y se enfrentaron a la misma perspectiva que nosotros con respecto a sus planes de almuerzo por la tarde. Ni idea de lo que le pasó a este lugar. Afortunadamente reprogramamos en el pub Bowery / restaurante a la vuelta de la esquina. El personal allí era increíble y la comida era excelente. ¡Salvaron nuestra celebración!

Soggy sour toast not enough butter sat beside people we didn't know I don't think they were happy either and an owner who just didn't care when approached.

Closed. It used to be good but appears permanently closed.
