This place has gone to the dogs. They also reduced the quantity/size of goujons. Goujon meal tonight was over £10 which is insane. Staff still nice. Management decisions.

As always beautiful cod no bones I don’t order chips as they are never well done and brown no were cooks chips long enough but the few chips that came with the cod were brown well done, sweet beautiful if chips were always like this I would order with every meal

1st time ordering. beautiful. standard chippy grub. ordered at 1am, so thought I was taking a chance, may/may not come, may/may not be nice. Wasn't late, food was hot, & good seeing a white man delivering, (knowing where he's going) will order again!

order came faster than expected but unfortunately they forgot my drink. Good food, exactly what you'd expect from a decent chippy. was looking forward to that Fanta orange though

delivery was late,restaurant said they were busy fair enough. the chicken goujans and curry sauce were really good although the chips were abysmal like eating cardboard probably due to how late they were.

Usually this chip shop is excellent ,, not today , ordered split fish which was ok , but chips that came with it were very bad , just reheated ,, pasty bap ,, bap was out of date , terrible , and pastie again was reheated , batter was tough and hard to chew ,, first time I have not been happy with this restaurant

the chips was cold hard and stale and tasted as if left over night the chicken tasted like rubber and the drinks were warm because of the amount of time they were left sitting they went still and the gravy had lump and didn’t taste up to standers i would like a refund

waited with my 7 year old for over an hour and a half for food only to be meet with two(one female,one male) cheeky useless workers on the phone. who lied about how long delivery would take. ended up ordering a Chinese for me and son. food never arrived and they wouldn't answer phone. I hope the manager gets rid of these two employees as they will run your chippy to the ground.

Order was placed at 11:48pm and did not arrive until 1:45AM. After calling the shop at 12:55AM I was told it was out with the delivery driver and left the shop 20mins ago. Called again at 1:30am and was told delivery driver was not contactable at the time. Food arrived at 1:45AM, soggy, cold and with items on it that I asked specifically not to have. Haven’t had chip co in a long time and decided to give another chance to be left starving and given bad quality food after waiting for 2hours.

I was in late on Tuesday night after a gig. The 2 lads who served me were absolutely fantastic. Great banter and the food was delicious. Both those lads and the delivery driver are an asset to your company.

Wouldn’t be ordering again, got a fish and can’t even eat it cause it soggy, chips are terrible and the delivery driver spent more time in his car than bringing the food to use

Best chip shop in Belfast. Food always hot not greasy cod is beautiful I’m a fuss with cod if I hit a bone I would be finished I have never had a bone with chip co the battered mushrooms are delicious I don’t know if it’s a thing but why are chips not brown like they used to be that’s why I don’t buy chips no matter were you buy them they are white under cooked. Anyway I cant say enough good about chip co 100% top

I just bought a chip from the chip co at botanic avenue belfast. The chips I received were only fit for the bin. At £4.60 per portion you would think you could expect a fresh portion of chips. You can’t continue to serve up food like this and expect to stay in business.

First time here. Staff was couteous. Ordered the fish meal. Big portions....

1st time ordering from Chip Co and the quality of the food was 2nd to none. Very very nice and will be ordering from here again.

Good place! When you order a hotdog it's a burger bun with sausages in it. It's still nice. Just put a bit of ketchup in it. Great! The service was really nice.

Chips were fine. Fish was nice but vay skinny. Batter was chewy and needs work.

Ordered at 9.30pm and received order after 11.05pm on a Monday night. I live 2 miles from the chip shop so no excuse for the delay. Sausage and chips were cold. The gravy chip was hot but very little gravy and the chips were soggy. Would not order again or recommend.

I gave delivery notes about adding salt and omitting onions and ketchup, these notes were ignored.

I ordered 3x sausages as it says on the receipt and a chicken burger with mayonaise and 2x. Battered sausages so why when my order arrived was there only 2x sausages and no mayonnaise on my chicken burger i am a regular enough customer not happy what so ever!!!

My partner does not like sauces at all so I had rang and asked for my food to be replaced. The guy on the phone was pleasant and I had mentioned the awful website so he had said I will get a new burger meal delivered. All whilst I could hear a female worker screeching about what I was taking about in the background. The delivery driver had came and asked for the burger back which was not stated on the phone call. I live in a uni house so instead of dumping the food I offered it to someone who would eat it. The delivery driver was basically shouting at me at my own front door telling me “there’s obviously nothing wrong with the burger then” so on and so forth until he drove off and told me to ring the takeaway myself. I rang and was met with a very hostile man who would not let me get a word in edge wise. Again I could hear the absolute screams of the woman in the background. I told him I was not told they would want the burger back. He then passed me along to the original guy I was phoning and the issue was then resolved as he knew himself he didn’t say so the driver had to drive back for the second time. I’d understand they would want the food back if say the burger was undercooked so it would prove that but they knew the burger was sent to me fully dressed as it is how they do it but it was again not stated on the website. Poor excuse of a website and poor excuse for a chippy who clearly need staff better trained on how to deal with these situations. Training point 1: RELAX lol

Took 2 hrs to come and when it finally arrived the food tasted like it was 4 days old the chicken was like tryna bite through a rubber honestly wld not reccoment here

the most disgusting food in the north of ireland the chips were soggy no wonder they give you loads the cod was wrapped in something they tell you its batter its not the chicken fillet is and should be removed from the menu i have eat in some bad places but this is the worst food 34 pounds worth deliverd i wouldnt even feed it to my dog this place should be shut down ASAP what are the food inspectors doing in this country not there job thats for sure iv never wrote online about any food but this i had to its gross and thats me being nice

Only stopped for a chip. The portion of the large chip is huge and the chips themselves are lovely but they are so stingey with the vinegar I’ve never had more watered down vinegar in my life

Avoid at all cost...drove from Newtownabbey...took ages to get served hardly any customers...burger and battered sausages must have been from yesterday re heated 6 times, you could have threw it at the peelers and done damage, no salt or vinegar on anything or tar tar sauce on the fish this was after I asked the fella who was serving 3 times because he looked like a simple cxxt andi wasproved correct....fuxxing raging!

Ordered £20 of food and was waiting for over an hour, I called chip co and the man on the phone laughed at me and said it had been delivered and hung up! The app then said it had been delivered when it hadn’t. Do not order here as they will scam you. Do not order from here unless you can afford £20 to disappear into thin air. Shocking.

Chips were flavourless, when I asked for salt and vinegar and got none, chicken goujons were ok, pastie was unfortunately dreadful, was like biting through rubber, couldn't even give it to the child, when it was actually the kids meal and the chicken gravy was just lumpy stuff which looked and smelt awful. First time getting from the place and was really looking forward to it, but only thing I could eat was the goujons.

I never got my order. I was told I was attempted to be contacted but I never received a call and when I stated this on the phone the restaurant called me but there was only dead silence on the other end before immediately hanging up. I’m sure this was just a mistake but I still never got my order. Sorry for the two one stars but I can’t really rate taste

Got two bacon cheese burger meals from the chip co and they were delicious me and my partner enjoyed our meals 10/10 . Definitely a place to visit when your in belfast for quality food.

I ordered of just eat. I had seen that the order was late so I made the restaurant aware and clicked the late button. Order was then rescheduled to another 20 mins- I was then waiting over an hour on the food. After the 20 mins still no sign of the food. Next thing I know the restaurant cancelled my order. (I had already paid for this order btw) I was livid and rang the restaurant. Staff member on phone was very rude and sarcastic. I had said where is my food and he said the driver couldn’t find me? He then said the driver was at my door for 10 mins. Keep in mind I was sitting in my living room so I could see outside, nobody came to my door. He then said the driver tried ringing me, so did the restaurant. I had no missed calls from anybody. He then said there was no phone number on the receipt? He proceeded to try and get more food sent out for me. I said no you keep your food, I do want my money back though. He said I have to contact just eat. So that is what I am going to do. Do not recommend!!!!!!!

Ordered in and it was disgusting. Not 1 of us put any of it to our mouths due to the grease dripping from it and the rotten smell. The burger and omg my pastie bap it was freezing. If you had of eaten it you definitely would have ended up in a hospital bed really sick. I've eaten out of some rotten places but this place has definitely been the worse. Even the oil that the food had been cooked in was really dirty as you could see it on the food 🤢🤮. For a pink pastie I've seen a few but really it was disgusting. Almost £18 for it all to be binned. I couldn't even have put a star at food as it was that bad.

Food was vile. Fish batter was foamy like a pancake batter. Scallops seemed like they were a week old. Will not be ordering again, even the dog refused to eat the “food”. Arrived cold and inedible.

So, picture this: I stumbled into this chip shop, slightly tipsy, just before closing. I ordered some chips and chicken, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The chips were like little slices of heaven, and the chicken was so good, it sobered me up for a second. It was the perfect drunk food, and I highly recommend it. Just be careful, you might end up craving it even when you're sober! 😂🍗🍟
