Got fish supper to takeout should have known better plenty of chips but batter on fish disgusting had to scrap fish out of it this was at 7 o’clock tonight waste of money

Got a delivery. Food wasn’t bad but the driver broke the front gate and got on like a prik about it.

The food is good, however they run out of a certain food I want a lot. (Pieces of Chicken) just today I saw that they came back on the app's menu so I ordered them and I get a phone call saying they don't have any. I doubt a chippy only gets delivered a supply of food designed to last less than a day. Also, 9 out of 10 times when I've ordered from the shop it's been delivered late. Twice I've had to wait an HOUR AFTER the supposed delivery time for it. One of these times it caused me to be late for something I had planned that day. It sometimes seems they're waiting until I phone up before they send the food out sometimes because they say "It's the next one out" or "it's leaving the shop now", and there's zero compensation whatsoever. This makes the service fee very questionable, because the service is at a very low standard. I understand sometimes it's difficult to manage everyone's orders when the place is busy but I think the app needs an option to track the order or at least send a message to say "Hey, your food is being sent out now".

Andersontown road branch, called in after using the pool with my son. Spotless, great value, excellent food and very friendly service. I haven’t had a fish and chip in years as previous orders (at other restaurants) just seemed to be getting worse and worse….. but I’m a convert again thanks to the food/service at Chip company Andersontown. Sorry I didn’t take pictures of the food but I was too busy enjoying it with my son.

Servers and staff very very cold and VERY DOUR no EMPATHY AT ALL

Great food and quality service from Chip Co staff for a company occasion, will most definitely be back!

Fancied a pastie snack so managed to get a parking spot. Hard to park with glider bus lane. Anyway the pastie was served almost immediately. At £3.10 not bad with the usual handful of free chips. The pastie content was the red /pink type and was tasty. No complaints. Will be back.

Ordered chicken goujons which were overcooked and hard, also asked for curry on the meal and got a kids size sauce carton with little to no curry in it, also ordered chicken burger meal which was overcooked and tough, not to mention the prices, definitely would not order again.

I've been to almost all of their belfast locations and asvmy lunchtime is Restricted to 30 mins I often call my order in & call in to collect it just a week ago i seen on a web serch via Google they had an outlet close by again i call it in ,drove over and spotted a pavement stand & I got to alter my order to suit both parties , the young man offered me seating inside which was a bonus as the weather was unpleasant outside Top Marks for this local company that looks after its customers from the minute they call in . WELL DONE ,!

Food takeaway was great and to sit in they give bigger portions of quality food. Staff are professional and friendly, highly recomend this place always excellence. 👍👍

Nice but for a chippy it's expensive

The food was delicious, fast and efficient. No complaints. The portions were massive, too much if anything. The place was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and obliging.

Placed an order at 6:02 got a confirmation email saying it will be delivered by 6:45….at 7:15 I called to check how much longer was told it’s been cooked and under the heater and the driver will be back in 10mins. God knows how long it sat under the heater, we ended up walking round to get it to speed up the process and we never got eating until 7:55. Not an apology or anything. Also could not get through to them on the phone for 40mins. I know it was probably just a busy night but the staff should have been more apologetic and let me know it would be later than the time promised, it’s simple customer service. When we finally did eat the food it was soggy probably from being under the heater for so long and the condensation. So yea I won’t be back.

Poor experience with Chip Company this evening. Waited almost 90 mins for an order. Rang to cancel and was offered no apologises or explanations as to what the delay was. Disappointing as we usually get great service.

Placed an order which took 1hour 30 mins it was cold chicken burgers were Soggy and lettuce not fresh. Chips were cold looked like they hadn’t been cooked enough.Fried chicken was disgusting and chicken gravy unbeatable will never order again.

Ordered food on Saturday nite I waited an hour then rang was told it had just left the shop then rang back 25mins later and was told it had left then when food arrived and got it it was not warm or fresh only reason I didn't ring back was because my friend delivered the food and didn't want to get him in any trouble was bad service all round I get from here every wend and will not be ordering again I think

Good for breakfast and very reasonable lunch deals. Friendly staff too... Would be 5* but to many times I've had drinks out the fridge that weren't cold..

Sent the wrong order, I rang to ask for what I ordered ag the start. First order was burnt, chicken not even cooked. And then second order was completely worse again. Will definitely not be ordering again!!

It takes a lot for me to give a bad review but tonight I have no choice, we put an order in at 18:55 and received our order at 8:30 , after an hour my wife phoned and they apologised saying they were really busy, we waited another 35 minutes and eventually it arrived, the food felt like it had been reheated and was honestly only lukewarm, it came to £29.00 for a fish supper and two chicken burger meals , we bought a carton of gravy and 2 curry sauces. My dog wouldn’t eat the fish I left and the cat took a few nibbles , never ordering from this chippy again.

Terrible, my advice? Avoid!! I went in, up to counter, waited nearly 5 minutes before they even acknowledged i was there, it wasn't busy, infact there was only one other person there. I called the waitress and asked where they serving? Yeah, what do you want? I ordered a fish supper, it was there in 5 minutes. No knive and fork, no salt or vinegar, no tartar sauce or napkins! So i asked the waitress, down there. she said and walked away. So i get the cutlery and start eating. Chips were overdone, barely warm and the fish was the same. These were not freshly cut and cooked. As the sigh says. They were reheated and the fish was greasy. Waitress was surley and lazy, needs to learn how to treat customers. Not a patch on kelstar. Needs to use proper plates and the prices are ridiculous for this rundown cafe. No wonder they had only a few customers. No one even asked if the meal was alright or why it was barely eaten!! Wont be back.

This chippy wouldbe great if they got the orders right. Always getting things wrong. Twice iv had to wait for 2 hours for food just to be told its busy what do i expect. The 1 star is for service and organisation not for the food.

Tasty, losing one star because of burnt onions. Most times it's always been top for service, delivery and tasty.

Got good old fashioned fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection. Best I have had in a long long time.

There is a cheaper chippy up the road called round about and they do bigger meals. The reason I'm giving it only 2 stars because you can sit in, but that's it.

Ordered from the chip company on andersonstown road at 4:26 but wasnt delivered until 5:35 and when it came they forgot half the order! My daddy had nothing to eat while we ate ours. Rang to complain and they said the delivery man forgot to give us the second bag and he will deliver another one so another 15 mins gone past before my daddy finally got his dinner plus our dips which was pointless as we had already finished by this stage. would not reccommend to anyone or get from it again. Bad service and luke warm food.

Hvent been here since it was kel star. Waitress was brusque, I ordered a curry chip, was on table on 30 second, really! Just dropped on the table. I knew it was from a packet right away but I tried it anyway. Chips were barely warm, same with sauce, too much, smothered chips completely. Did get it exchanged, not much better.

Ordered child chicken nuggets and chips also a gravy chip what can I say hard chips bits and pieces of chips never again

Excellent food and service at affordable prices, the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is due to the room inside, it could be a little bit more spacious.

Dear chip co u shouldn't have taken over kelstar they were way better with everything especially the gravy like ur gravy tastes like curry and I hate curry and it's also green ur are soggy says Mike and ur chicken sauce is hard and u should let kelstar have their establishment back

This place replaced kelstar and to be fair i have to say I preferred the later. The food was ok and the service wasn't great....

Rang an order through waited 20 minutes called in waited another 15 minutes on order. My order was two items it wasn't particular busy. Large taco chip £5. It was no way large a bit disappointed

What ever you do don't order a collection. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes so I turned up 10 minutes later paid for the order and had to wait another 20 minutes to get my order even though I was at the front of the queue the whole time. Shambles

I had to wait 45 mins for a takeout and this while being in and ordering it. It’s ridiculous!

Had purchased a takeaway order, as I always ordered from Kelstar, and thought id try here as it was close but was over an hour to be delivered even though it had been out with driver for over 45mins, likely this was the case as the food was cold. Some chips were hard in the middle. Ended up binning it, Won't be buying from here again. Would recommend that they sort out their ordering system/delivery service before they lose a lot of customers.

Used to be 5 stars but has went down hill last few months. No wings any more and no sweet potato fries

First time in the place just because original plans changed last min, food was rough very poor. Chicken goujons were chippy goujons n I couldn't even cut through them without a fight. Garlic mayo was tangy tasted strange didn't eat. Main came n the burger bap n burger meat was cremated. I asked for 2 onion rings on the burger n the onion ring was just batter lol. I would not recommend

I never put anything like that up here but im fumin. £17 down n no bloody dinner. Honestly the muck they sent me last night is ridic. Was bad enough chips were freezing, theyd dressed my burger wen i asked them not to n the meat well thats a different story would make u sick n on top id say i was over charged. I think its the 3rd order in a row thats been a shambles. Never ordering again

Bought family take away spent £25 can safely say this was the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. Soggy chips hard in the middle. Soggy fish with grease swimming in the bottom of the wrapping, horrible it all went in the bin. Ruined our Saturday night family treat.

Although the meal tasted good the burger was not hot (5 min journey home) and it was overpriced. Three meal deals cost just over £21. I doubt if I will be eating there again as there are six people in our family.

Service was very good but food not great. Had a fish and they served it with some chips. Batter was very thick and heavy and I couldn't eat it.
