Had a great bite to eat here. Burger & the relish were really good. Never usually see a chippy with seating areas so that was a big plus for me.

Second time the order has been something different from what was ordered.

ordered at 3:22pm arrived 5:22pm meant to arrive at 4:10pm. Everything was cold and chips soggy and wrong drink sent. Normally everything is great so very disappointed.

Send a plain burger instead of a pastie and send kids hotdog with ketchup and onions on it not happy this time around

Order for the whole family. Fish supper - if there was 12 chips with the fish that was it. First bite of fish got spat out, rubbery texture and the inside the batter was raw in places, squidgy as it was very thick. Chicken burger - was OK, which is why it's even a 1 star review. Chicken goujons - again ok but chicken gravy with them was lumpy. Taco cheesy chip - taco sauce must have been mixed with vinegar and garlic sauce, horrible. About a teaspoon of grated cheese. Split fish- again rubbery and batter was too thick resulting in squidgy raw batter throughout. My kids aren't fussy but they found this horrible. Most of the food went in the bin. And be careful ordering online as they sneak in a £2.99 service charge!

I ordered a gravy chip there was an onion and a few peas in it

Had 2 sausage and batters. Very bland cold chips, sausage and batters was very mediocre. Staff very grumpy

Whould Not order from This Place Very Rude customer Service Rang Up Because they gave me The wrong Order Then There telling Me that they definitely Gave me My burger That I ordered And they gave me A pastie absolute Joke When I rang up the woman Told me That there driver is off And to ring back up Tommorow Telling me that they will send my burger out to me That I paid for Then I ring up today And a different woman Knew what order I got and was Being Cheecky saying That They gave Me the Burger witch They didn't I don't know what the problem was there I'd stay away from here guys Food is usually 10/10 But I'll never be back again After that Attitude lol absolutely pathetic Place needs new staff No wonder whys Yous are working in a chippy lol

Absolutely terrible! Never written a review or rated on anything before, but the food was too ridiculous not to complain. £17 for scampi and chips including delivery. There wasn't enough fish in the scampi to feed a fecking borrower. Chips were completely drowned in sauce and soggy. Delivery man left the bag sitting on doorstep when arrived. Do not waste your money!

chips were all black and soggy, chicken burger tasted like leather as thou it had been cooked a few time. Will never order from here again, that's the second time I've ordered and second time it's went in the bin, not like it was cheap it was a £40 order 🤢

food almost an hour late, burger should have been plain but came with dressing and extra sauce so went straight in the bin. I am not one to complain but when paying these high prices I expect my order to be right

Absolutely appalling when it comes to getting an order right. It just seems like they do it on purpose as this is definitely not the first time.

haven't had a cowboy supper or a battered sausage in a few years so decided too get a battered cowboy supper, what I received was chips, 2 battered sausages, no beans and a tub of gravy and tub of curry. Curry was lumpy and just not edible, gravy was freezing. food was lukewarm but still edible

Ordered twice not thinking it was a one off but the battered fish and batter on the sausage was soggy. Not the crispy it used to be.

Got a delivery. Food wasn’t bad but the driver broke the front gate and got on like a prik about it.

The food was inedible when it arrived. The curry sauce was so cold it had started to congeal. Really disappointed in the service… and the maddening thing was that I had to wait 2hrs for it to arrive!

Food took over 2 hours from confirmation to food being delivered. Called 1 hour and 15 minutes, was told another 15 minutes, actually took another 45. Not as much as an apology when the food arrived. Food wasn't the warmest, most of the chips had black spots but worst of all the fish didn't seem fully cooked with soft and stretchy batter. I've ordered from the Ardoyne shop before and I've never had any real issue with the food quality. Absolute disgrace.

Curry sauce not received but payed for. So annoying!

The food is good, however they run out of a certain food I want a lot. (Pieces of Chicken) just today I saw that they came back on the app's menu so I ordered them and I get a phone call saying they don't have any. I doubt a chippy only gets delivered a supply of food designed to last less than a day. Also, 9 out of 10 times when I've ordered from the shop it's been delivered late. Twice I've had to wait an HOUR AFTER the supposed delivery time for it. One of these times it caused me to be late for something I had planned that day. It sometimes seems they're waiting until I phone up before they send the food out sometimes because they say "It's the next one out" or "it's leaving the shop now", and there's zero compensation whatsoever. This makes the service fee very questionable, because the service is at a very low standard. I understand sometimes it's difficult to manage everyone's orders when the place is busy but I think the app needs an option to track the order or at least send a message to say "Hey, your food is being sent out now".

I ordered a chicken burger and received a steakette instead, very disappointed

Unfortunately the food was very late and very cold. It needed to be reheated in the microwave and the chips just aren’t the same then. Order was placed as the delivery time was 25-35 minutes. It ended up more than double that. If I’d have known that I wouldn’t have placed the order. Just an honest review.

Hi I think there was something up with the app ... I was waiting your chips but the app was saying it want outside yet and the poor fella was in the car park .. can I get a refund or if you drop it back I'd gladly tip.. so sorry but genuinely was waiting and keeping an eye on the app ..

Chips were great but both pasties had a weird taste and were unedible. Thankfully the chips were generoud portions to fill us up!

Andersontown road branch, called in after using the pool with my son. Spotless, great value, excellent food and very friendly service. I haven’t had a fish and chip in years as previous orders (at other restaurants) just seemed to be getting worse and worse….. but I’m a convert again thanks to the food/service at Chip company Andersontown. Sorry I didn’t take pictures of the food but I was too busy enjoying it with my son.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - please listen to the previous reviews, i was naive and went ahead and ordered anyway BIG mistake, food was freezing cold and stinking, chicken burger was hard but the batter was soggy like how do you get that SO WRONG, the fish smelled off and the chips were freezing even though i live 10 mins away. For the price of this place you would think they would get it together. Absolutely foul. DONT ORDER YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY

Don’t even give ya a change to come to the door they just knock and leave it there. We aren’t still in a pandemic. What if it happened to be the wrong house or I didn’t hear the door and the food would’ve ended up sitting there for ages? Extremely rude to just leave it there to be honest.

We ordered our food at 20:54 and it didn't arrive until 22:15pm. The food was cold, very disappointed and a waste of money! I'd like a full refund for the delivery charge and the money for the food please. Many thanks

Ordered at half 8 now 10pm still no food. Rang at 9.30 they said very busy and will be here. Restaurant now closed

Piping hot, food was amazing as always

Fancied a pastie snack so managed to get a parking spot. Hard to park with glider bus lane. Anyway the pastie was served almost immediately. At £3.10 not bad with the usual handful of free chips. The pastie content was the red /pink type and was tasty. No complaints. Will be back.

Ordered chicken goujons which were overcooked and hard, also asked for curry on the meal and got a kids size sauce carton with little to no curry in it, also ordered chicken burger meal which was overcooked and tough, not to mention the prices, definitely would not order again.

I've been to almost all of their belfast locations and asvmy lunchtime is Restricted to 30 mins I often call my order in & call in to collect it just a week ago i seen on a web serch via Google they had an outlet close by again i call it in ,drove over and spotted a pavement stand & I got to alter my order to suit both parties , the young man offered me seating inside which was a bonus as the weather was unpleasant outside Top Marks for this local company that looks after its customers from the minute they call in . WELL DONE ,!

didn't receive some of the order. rang and told them said they send it didn't rang a few times after again no answer.food quality was terrible very disappointed. we are a big fan of chip co but literally couldn't it some of the food was burnt and not what I ordered. I hope I get my refund back. really disappointed never thought I'd say that.

The chips were definitely undercooked, I. couldn't eat them. The burger had no salad in it eventhough I ordered with...just a disappointing experience all around.

Disappointed with the food that I received, burger was nice but the chicken Goujons had far to much batter around the chicken and the chips were just awful, they were over cooked hard and had black ends on them , they looked like yesterdays chips re cooked, out of two chips we ended up with half of one after digging through them.
