Whites is a great traditional Belfast bar with an atmosphere that matches. It can be very busy at times as it is a popular venue. The only reason for my three star service rating is because when its busy it really needs to have more staff serving behind the bar! It is a good spot for all ages but if you want a seat get in early 😉

Great place for lunch in Belfast with that old world charm. Service is spot on and food is great. This is a very popular spot so if you haven't booked don't be disappointed if you can't get a table. If there is a downside, and I'm just being picky, the music through the speakers is quite loud and intrusive at times.

I went to whites to meet other friends and they refused me entry. They sited I was too drunk despite me trying my best to prove otherwise. No matter what I said and how many conversations I had their words were “we can’t stray from the opinion of the original colleague”. This colleague was working the side door, and when we walked past he stuck the middle finger up at us and when we questioned it, said nothing. A despicable establishment. Prejudice against young girls.

Whites is a great pub. I opted to frequent Whites Tavern with a friend visiting from Scotland. We enjoyed copious amounts of stout in a warm and friendly atmosphere—thoroughly enjoyed it! They also have a dedicated Guinness bar, which I’ve been to before—it’s definitely worth checking out if you love a good pint. Certainly a great spot to visit if you’re in Belfast for a short break. My favourite bar in Belfast ruined by terrible bar staff. It must be a lack of training or new staff and can be fixed but wearing a queen's university hoody while working behind the middle bar and having such terrible behaviour reflects poorly on the bar and the university.

Arrived last weekend to watch the rugby, went early specifically to secure a seat, as a man over 60 i need a seat. Managed to secure a stool out in the covered area, watched the Scotland game until 10 min before the Ireland game kickoff only to watch two staff members taking stools from 5 of us sitting on them. I would not recommend this place. Oh, spoke to a woman also chasing her deposit back from staff at the bar, she paid to secure a table only to find the £50 had not been taken off her bio. I wont go back. Plenty of other places in the city to watch the game.

Lunes - Domingo - 12. 00 - 01 . 00 . Domingo - 12. 00 - 00 . 00 .

The area in which we were sat was in a large puddle that had come in from outside, this was not attempted to be cleaned. Absolutely astonishing place. This is four pubs in one! At the front is a locals bar & in the middle is a long hall that turns into a club vibe into the wee small hours. To the right is a modern bistro type bar with cubicles, log store & fantastic lighting against bare brick. The real star, however, is the olde worlde very low lit bar to the left down the alley with a real fire & real atmosphere. The subtle Christmas decorations throughout & behind the bar added even more cosiness. This is the type of place you could hide for hours in on a wintry day. Didn't try the food this time but wouldn't hesitate. Whoever updated & designed the interior for these bars deserves a medal in my opinion because this is how it should be done - only in Ireland!

Great staff prompt service but it was nearly empty upstairs. Clean environment and charming atmosphere. Really pleased to see a vegan menu but it was awful sorry to write this. I had a tofu steak? With a basil sauce ...I think. The tofu was uncooked and raw with a sliver of green pesto over it. The salad at the side was lettuce out of a bag with no dressing on it? Really ? Even a bit of French dressing would have helped. Very disappointed 😞 would come back for wine but definitely not food.

Nice food, good service, very traditional rooms (mainly at ground floor). Good prices

At a function but the room was quite cold, hence 3 stars. Staff friendly and food nice.
