Moyola in Belfast

Very expensive food and very small portions and it doesn't look good either

Just had a takeaway, unfortunately had just missed the last 2 fish. The chicken goujons were lovely though as were the chips and curry sauce. Very big portions too.

Food used to be lovely but was very disappointed I ordered a selection of items from the menu the batter on items was either falling off it with stuff being burnt or the batter being undercooked and for the price I expected it to be a lot better hopefully it will improve but I won't be back for a long time

That has to be 1 of the worst chippys I have ever had. About 3/4 of the chips where bad and when I ate the chips they where hard.not much of a fish either.

Wasn't great, chips were undercooked (as is still firm) and kids popcorn chicken was like rubber. Wouldn't recommend.

The chips weren't fully cooked, curry sauce was overly salty, meaning both were inedible. Meant my partner and I had to share a small chicken burger between us after spending over £15 to feed the two of us. The chicken burger was nothing special but at least was edible. The driver was early but ignored my message about the dog being scared and to call not rap the door, set her off after we'd just started to get her settled from the fireworks. Won't be getting again

Have to say we were really disappointed. Fish wasn't good, and chips were cold. Service was very slow. Food was over priced the scallops had very little potato they were mostly batter.

Lovely hot food. Delivered super quick. Fish and chips freshly prepared. Despite others making cutbacks, this was worth the money and treat. Money is tight, so if I order food, I want it to be enjoyable, and this really was. I don't usually leave a review, but this was the best fish supper we have had in a long time. This will be the only place I order a fish supper from now on! Lady delivery driver too, which is great for single mums! Highly recommend.

Couldn't really give honest review has I buy dinner for my parents every Saturday and never get a thank you or it's arrived

Every Saturday I order my mum and dad food from here. So I know my parents have a hot meal once a week. There service is brilliant and I know my parents are getting a decent meal hot .. thank you for your service

Usually this chippy is always an 8/10 at worst, but unfortunately tonight the chicken goujons were very overcooked and ended up in the bin.

Can’t even eat the chips the potato in them tastes like it’s not cooked, the burger was alright, although any other time I’ve got from Moyola it hasn’t been a great experience.

Forgot tin of coke, fish was really greasy

Placed an order via justeat, which didn’t arrive so I contacted the chippy itself and was told the next order would be free. Considering it was paid for as they don’t give a “pay cash” option on JustEat, it was agreed upon that the next order would be free of charge. Called today to replace the order and the owner or manager, whoever the male was, was extremely rude and stated, “that’s lies.” Do Not order from here and definitely go straight to just eat if there are any issues. Appears the staff dismiss any wrong doing and the owner will make the customer appear to be at fault or just lying for no reason 🤦🏻‍♀️

Regularly order from Moyola, always good food and hot when arrives, normally early, cecil the delivery driver is a gentleman!

Great food although the price of a Cod Supper is approaching 'only as a treat' level. Accompanied by someone from East Belfast who was confused by the choice of two different pasties (she eventually went with the pink version although the difference is beyond me). Did serve way too many chips which went to waste but not really anything to complain about.

Tasty as always, my kids are VERY fussy and they all love the Moyola chippy.

Just got a sausage supper which consists of two sausage chips and gravy £6.80 was not worth the money they had no mushrooms no onions absolutely terrible

Ordered a pastie bap and left instructions on what I wanted on it.. these were totally ignored and it was completely plain. The rest of the order was missing... ordered 2 sausages and received one, didn’t receive the garlic dip I paid for. Don’t understand how you can read some of the order but ignore the rest but have no problem in taking the payment? Disgraceful service, food was binned. Will not order from here again.

Food was absolutely delicious, and arrived in great time, great portion sizes as well, you definitely get your money’s worth and more. First time trying this place, and we only tried it because my grandad who was recently diagnosed with dementia remembers it as the best fish and chips he’s ever had, and he said it still tastes just as good! Would definitely order again.

I got 2 kids meals and the chips in both of them were hard and black, must have got the last batch of chips whole order went to waste as my daughter couldn’t eat them. Also the hamburger was squished right at the bottom of the box.

Food was amazing as always however 55 minutes early. Worked out this time however don’t think I would per order next time.

Food came 15 minutes early, but a fish supper missing. But a quick and polite call got it sorted, then it arrived within 15 minutes. Still a great service and quality food.

As a long term customer I was very disappointed by tonight’s order. The cheeseburger was missing cheese. And one chicken burger was completely missing (instead being refunded in cash in the bag) stating that there were none left. The more logical thing would be to call or check if you could substitute the chicken burger rather than leave someone completely without dinner is terrible service.

Literally flawless. Moyola’s standards are a credit to them.

Food ordered for 5.45 for 3 of us- only one home as other 2 still at work when it arrived at 4.45.

Mayo on the burger was lumpy. Gravy was thick and had a rotten taste and one of the nuggets in the kids meal had dirt and dust over it as though it were dropped on the floor. Absolute disgrace.

Usually when we order from here it’s great but unfortunately tonight’s was a mess it was late, the food was cold and they forgot my granny’s pastie. I’m not too fussed about the hour and 15 minute wait because that’s understandable due to the circumstances but the food quality was shocking and my granny was very upset not to receive her pastie she’d been looking forward to all day. Not happy won’t be ordering for a while.
