Phone order not started when arrived. No compensation or apology for twenty minute wait . Consistently poor service from inexperienced staff. Please read reviews and get your act together 16.2.24 640pm

Ordered a snack box for takeaway, the chicken was completely dry and tasteless, as for the chips they were over fried, crunchy and also not pleasant to eat, hence have the food went to the bin. I would of seen the time I would of rang back and complained, but they don't want to know, as they don't appreciate negative feedback even when it's constructive feedback to work on. It was good like me most places when they are opened, but overtime with staff shortages, poor training, cutting back on quality and not spending time tasting the food, Is the reason why I won't be back, unfortunately!

I had a great experience at PG Chips Moira. The fish and chips were crispy, fresh and delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the location was convenient. I would definitely recommend PG Chips Moira to anyone looking for a satisfying and tasty meal. Was given a free 1.5l bottle of Coca-Cola for my over £25 order.👍

Bought a fish supper 16th May when I got it home it was probably the worst fish we have ever see.Hard batter and very little fish inside. The dog ever turned his nose up at it Will never use PG again

Lot of bad reviews, perhaps new owners? Only had a portion of chips to go with the chinese - bit pricey I thought, but the quality was great. Not over cooked at all, cooked right through a little light. Would return, pleasantly wished an enjoyable meal by the server. Nice touch

Arrived at chip shop at 20.50 after working late one Thursday night last month. Was told by the unfriendly member of staff that they were closed. Closed 10 mins early. Went to the chippy in Dollingstown will be going there in future.

Gave this place 1 last try after them completely botching the order the last time and massively overdoing the salt (my hubby loves salt) to the point it was inedible the time before! No matter how handy this location is... we will never be back, rest of order just ok this evening but the portion of donner meat... shocking. The kids goy a bigger feed. Very, very poor takeaway. You'd get a better chippy dinner from the chinese!

This has to be the worse chippy in northern Ireland. Just got a fish supper and it was absolutely rotten doggie fish and doggie chips not be back near it

I can absolutely turned with the burger I got today. Brown lettuce, the bap was stale and the meat was disgusting. I will most certainly not be back!!

Portions are good size if you fancy a night off cooking. Be prepared what you order isn't always what you might get!! Phone collections until you get home wont know if things missing or wrong thing given has happened on few occasions that give the benefit of the doubt. Credit were due order always completed in time stated. Only downside when you go in some staff look as miserable and not wanting to be there even when you are being friendly and polite to be met with sour puss faces. Nearly on occasion to remind of getting drinks for kids meals or over £25 orders of big bottles free. Young guy (sorry don't know his name) very pleasant each time - credit to his boss!!!

This place has got worse, quality of food, chips, all dried up as if they have been reheated. Last 3 app order have been wrong. Not good experience.

The Batter on the sausages would've broke your teeth

In my experience most chippers can be a bit hit & miss. Rather than cook last night we thought we would share a sausage supper… The chips were excellent, probably as good as you could ever expect but the sausages were terrible, they must have been sitting about for quite some time as it was a challenge to cut through the skin. I will hesitate to order again.

Crisp battered fish, more chips than we could eat, succulent garlic mushrooms, fairly good onion rings.

Ordered online. Have got food wrong numerous times and food was cold. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Ok.. ordered a collection for 3 of us and the food was lukewarm to cold, even the tubs of curry. Turned out they cooked it 45 mins early but still allowed me to to take it away. Replaced it tho had to collect again. That was 3-4 weeks back. So...gave them a try again and have a burger missing and the tubs of mushy peas are missing the 'mushy'. The young staff obviously don't care as i know of a coupla other folks experienced similar.Re-train or re-staff. Best advice.. stick with Moira's other chippy.

Food is hit and miss sometimes .

Dont order online, arrived for food after time of half an hour and was told it hadn't even been made yet and had to reorder!! So waited another 20 minutes and order ended up missing some things and put out in a hurry so wasnt good quality. Loads of people had same experience as queue and wrong orders were loads!! No organisation at all, would have had more sense from a blind monkey.

We love the food from P G Chips when we have a night off from cooking. They never disappoint and their steak burgers are delicious. Staff always friendly.

Burger was lovely but disappointed with the chips. Did not seem freshly cooked.

Ordered a chicken super with super sauce for delivery and received order with a table spoon of sauce. Called and asked for a tub to be delivered to which they said it would be with me in 5 minutes. 35 minutes later and on the phone 3 more times I finally received sauce for my freezing cold food. This is not the first time this has happened with the same issue and also being over charged which I was never reimbursed for. When I asked for the delivery driver to be called to see how far away he was I was told they have no contact number for him as he is not employed by them. I found this extremely odd. Won’t be back. Will go to Graham’s in moira from now on.

We really love the food from PG chips in Moira - always hot and very tasty. Good menu choices too. Always good when we want a break from cooking!

Have used PG Chips home delivery service a few times during present lockdown. Quality of the food was very high. Very generous portions. Food arrived at exactly time requested. Very satisfied and would recommend.

We always enjoy the food from PG Chips, especially the steak burgers. There is a good selection on the menu board. Friendly staff too.

Live less 3/4 mile and they were looking £3.50 for delivering Fish Supper. USED to support this establishment regularly. Prefer to donate money to worthy causes

Worst chippy everything was greasy batter galore

Called here last week as was handy on my way home. Asked do they do a chicken goujon supper. They told me they could sort one out and charged me the same price as a sliced chicken supper. They however failed to mention they would slice up the goujons. The portion of chicken was way too small and was not anywhere near good value. Getting two star as the chips were quiet nice. I notice a previous review says that his family travel from Omagh. I wouldn’t travel from Old Kilmore Road.

Friendly staff who were well schooled in allergies and the only chippy I've found to do dairy free batter! An absolute lifesaver for someone who hasn't had a chippy in four months!

This takeaway is a great addition to Moira. One of the reasons I return is the staff are always friendly but also very efficient. The main reason being my family love the food and it’s always cooked fresh and is good value for money. Cannot praise the staff enough.

Good variety of take away food. Accessible with parking nearby. Unfortunately closes at 10.00pm.

Went three times and the food was very good and though fish a bit odd worthy of 4 star however...the last two visits have very disappointing. So much so that my wife and I have decided not to go back. Chips underdone and fish soggy, the burger was actually quite nice but after two visits with inedible chips and soggy fish, really not good enough.

The foo here is always fresh tasty and good value. But beware you can get an adult lunchbox cheaper than I children’s meal. I find the kids meals over priced but still good quality food.

I like to have a takeaway once in a blue moon, though this place really put me off ordering again. The male server was very rude, sneered and joked with his colleague, I really didn't know what was going on until I good home and found he had put a Children's pig mask in my bag. After just having a baby, that really made me feel special.. not!! Well I should have gone to the Fat Gerkin for some healthy fresh food, he just helped me to realise the fact, and now I plan better and find food elsewhere.

Ordered on a few occasions but the last time - 3 lg chips and curry chip had virtually ALL chips rock hard and ends. Total rip-off with the worst experience I have ever had. Not cheap either. AVOID! I will never be to any of this chain again.

Called at PG chips tonight for fish and chips. The portions were bagged up out of my sight. Got home with two fish and chips. Sadly have to report that the fish portion was small and thin. Not worth the money. Wondered if they were...

Terrible service, went into Moira one at 9.03pm to place an order, was told that it's only chips after 9pm!!!! Never heard of this before in any chippy. Needless to say, I left and went to Grahams down the street

The best curry chip for miles!!

Having been a regular customer since the Moira shop opened I was disappointed with the meal I had ten days ago however I returned again to the Moira shop this evening, purchased a cod supper and onion rings which cost me £8.10. Only half of this meal was edible, the thick greasy batter was so hard it couldn't be eaten, the thin slice of cod had dried up inside the batter and the chips very tough. I simply won't be back!

Very reasonable portion sizes and tasty chicken gravy. The sliced chicken supper is a must.

Possibly the worst Battered sausage supper I've ever had you could break your teeth on the batter it's so dry and hard.
