Great tasting fresh food, unbelievable delivery time too. 20 mins from order to receiving at home

Food was amazing so lovely... Good size portions

Chips were inedible due to the amount of salt. Cheesy chip had the tiniest bit of cheese. Won’t be back.

Good food, good portion and a reasonable price. I got a fish supper and the wife got the salted chilli chicken. I found the shop a bit cold due to the ventilation (on a cold January day) but staff were friendly and the shop was clean. Would try again.

Terrible, staff hardly know what's happening, after waiting a good while after ordering to find out some good unavailable, tEven after 40 mims waiting and asked how much longer till food ready I was told, don't know, then food sat down to us, not great at all. Chicken burger over cooked in batter. Gravy full of salt for child. Other customers were ordering before is and sat down well after us. Awful place.

Came in for sit in, when we arrived it wasn't particularly busy, our order was took & that was okay. Then it started to get busy, we waited over 50 minutes for our food. The take away people kept getting their food but the sit ins didn't. A table next to us, which was in first they left as their order hadn't Even been started. Then tables which came in after us were being served. We didn't even get as much as an apology for the wait, even though we brought it to their attention. They said it wasn't their fault. We felt the staff to be very rude. I dont think i will return

Food was stone cold, bap was hard as a rock. Asked for salad and didn’t get any. Did not enjoy the food at all tonight. Disappointed. Have had to give 1 star to submit this would rather have gave 0 stars

I'm a very disgruntled customer. It took over 2 an a half hour to wait amd didn't show up. Absolutely appalling. Do better

It didn’t even appear at my house they delivered it to the neighbours downstairs, I had left the door light on so they could see the number but they went to another house instead

We left after waiting for 1 hour. Other people came after us and got served. A lady asked us what we ordered after waiting 40mins. Still didn't arrive, so we just left. It seemed all the staff were clueless in who was doing what.

Ordered two burgers and a fish and chips between two people. The food was perfect for us and I would feel confident ordering anything from Simply in Lisburn. I've been ordering from here for years and the chips have always been excellent. My final point is that the delivery was quick and hassle-free

Won't rate too low as the food is normally lovely, but have to say the last couple times we've ordered the taco mince chip specifically we couldn't really eat it with the amount of grease/liquid. Chips were drenched/slimey and not much flavour in the mince. It's usually not like that at all and we thought it was just a one-off last time, but quite disappointed as we've wasted money twice now having to throw most of the food in the bin.

This place has really gone downhill. Tonight I placed an order for delivery at 6pm and it didn't arrive until 7.35pm. I fully appreciate Friday nights can be busy, but I don't appreciate being lied to over the phone. I had called to check on my order at 7pm, whoever I was speaking with didn't not seem to recognise my confirmed order number. Then when asked for my address, I was told my order had already left and would be with me soon (I only live 5mins from the restaurant). A further 25mins passed and so I called again. This time I was told again it had just left 5 mins ago and would be about 15 minutes. I really wouldn't have minded the long wait considering a busy evening, but please don't lie to your customers.

I used to eat out of here all the time. Then I started getting food and it wasn't great. That was over a year ago. so I thought I'd give them another go. I now realise why I hadn't eaten here in a while. my battered Sausages would of needed a bread knife to cut through them they were so hard. the chips were just so bland. really hard to. my friends sausage supper was in edible. all in all most of it went in the bin. sadly never again as that was a waste of £20. delivery guy was lovely though.

Without a doubt the worst chippy in Lisburn!! Easy order of curry chip and the chips were rock hard and they put the tiniest amount of curry sauce on Will not go back and advise that that are definitely better places out there for something as simple as chips

Order was delivered early but the food was cold - how is that even possible. Both burgers were wrong. The food was awful at least the dog enjoyed it!

This place is under new management we visited few times in May from it reopened and the food was amazing highly recommend the staff some of whom were old staff from previous owners were lovely very pleasant and very welcoming give it a try u won't be disappointed x

I was here last night with my 2 kids. It was not friendly and slow service. I asked the girl was the chicken spicy and she said no. We got chicken goujons meal between us the kids said to me the chicken is hot. £15 for 1 meal 3 drinks 6 onions ring the only thing that was nice. Chips not golden brown

Food is delicious friendly staff my only complaint is that when I do a just eat order my order is always incomplete ie missing drinks so far 2 kids meals no drinks oder put in a few weeks bk lemon Fanta because I wasn't hungry and had friends in when I went to get my drink it wasn't there fed up paying for something and not getting it I've just ordered tonight hopefully my order will be complete

Me and my mum used to love coming here for food if we were out in Lisburn, but it’s really really gone downhill. Yesterday we decided to go here for lunch and ordered two fish and a chip between us, portion of super sauce and bread and butter. Whether it’s a cost cutting thing or what? All the vinegar bottles look old and the labels peeling off. They must be refilling the vinegar bottles with cheap watered down vinegar or just putting water in the vinegar to save money. Obviously we understand being a business at this time is difficult, but it was absolutely vile as someone who loves vinegar. We kept putting it on and it just kept making the food soggier and soggier with no flavour. Overall the food did lack flavour as a whole, the chips were greasy/oily, and the super sauce was so thick it wouldn’t even move when we turned it upside down inside the metal gravy boat? Which made us both feel totally sick because we ended up seeing a sort of skin on top. We realised it wasn’t totally fresh then. The fish was ok, little bit flavourless, batter could have been crispier but after pouring the amount of vinegar on we did, it probably was ruined anyway due to lack of flavour On the way out of the restaurant we noticed on the front door a 2 STAR food hygiene rating which confirmed to us that the place has really gone down hill, and actually made us feel totally sick. We won’t be back. Only thing nice was the tea🤮

I get quite regularly from yourselves but after tonight won't be returning. Ordered to chicken goujan meals with coke and 2 garlic dips and paid for a 3rd one. Was given my meals with only 2 garlic dips when I went bak in to ask for the 3rd one the look I got made me feel uncomfortable and she just turned and walked off. She'd also told me I didn't get drinks as I got the dips but it only registered as I was near home that the first girl tat served me had asked wat drink I wanted with my meals so obviously told bare faced lies to my face when I asked about the drinks. I understand it was busy and maybe stressful but doesn't cost much to be polite. Don't usually complain but felt I had to this time unfortunately

Friendly staff. Sit in not fully available n food served like a carry out instead of a plate. Reasonably priced n good tasty food. Great get fresh cut chippy chips.

Great takeaway and sit in. Love their lunchtime special meal deals, great value and very tasty. Staff are friendly and while you wait you can relax on the 2 big sofas.

Been here twice. Found staff taking orders rude. I was in for a carry out but as they have a sit in I asked to use toilet. First time they said it was broken by people attending black parade. I said you are fibbing. I ordered fish goujons. Young lady reneged and let me use toilet with broken cistern link. Goujons were really nice. Second visit I ordered a cod fish. Asked to use toilet and was told it was broken. I said you are fibbing. Again she blamed band parade. Fish was ok but small for six pounds fifty. Will think twice before next visit.

Food good. Staff rude. Not been here before and spotted it whilst driving by. so in I popped Saw the tables but was informed they were closed. I asked to use toilet but was told it was broken by a rude lady server. I asked was she lying. I then looked at menu on wall. Came back and was made to wait whilst carry out guy got sorted. I eventually ordered fish bites at £6.50, and was surprised when she asked me again if I really needed the loo and was directed to it and saw it could be flushed with lid open. Back to counter for a while and then came the fish bite portions. I went to my van to eat them and they were very good with about 8 pieces of fresh cod. I remarked on the reversal of attitude and even left feeling good. I will try it again.

Was there today,ordered 2 fish suppers ,stated was served with mushy peas & lemon wedge,never got the peas or the lemon,had to ask the waitress for the peas,had our fish supper ate by time the peas came ,not good enough service really,however the fish & chips were delicious, would have been nicer with the peas,when we went to pay the bill was £25.20,they never even knocked the 20p off ,🤦‍♀️

Used to love this place but recently in last few months it has gone seriously down hill. Regularly, orders are wrong or items completely missing. And, when you ring, they have no clue what item is missing and even when they send it back out, it still arrives wrong. Only sometimes will you get compensation. Such a shame. Won’t be going back until they’re back on track. Buyer beware.

Time consuming. Having ordered a fish, i was served some small pieces of fish in plenty of batter & quite the chip. Staff member insisted that I had ordered a 'fish bites supper', or something like it, that I had never heard of before. Eventually I was served the fish I had ordered. I'm not in love with simply fish

The woman at the till was incredibly rude to me and my friends, she had a bad attitude for no reason, we were polite to her but she did not return the favour, I would rather eat a bottle and poop out broken glass than go here.

Got the Monday madness deal. Overcharged an extra quid, wings are plain with the sauce in the bottom of the carton and the pizza looks like a 10 inch rather than 12. Still a decent deal though

Prior to Christmas this place was definitely the best in Lisburn but it has rapidly gone down hill over recent weeks, our last 3 orders have been extremely poor, under cooked anemic chips, chewy battered fish, dried out chicken burgers, soaked in mayo & tiny chicken goujons. Further more whilst we got cash out of the kitchen to pay for the order the delivery driver came in to our house like some sort of bouncer waiting to be paid. Sadly we won't be ordering here any longer

I ordered a chicken goujon meal and got 3 chicken goujons, the last goujon was fish, I clearly never ordered fish, I had already half ate it the time I realised. Very disappointing, wasn’t the first time they got the order wrong.

Bad. Dry chips and fish. Very slow service. The flavour of the oil was disgusting. Any other chippy in Lisburn is better than this one.

Abusive staff. Rotten food. Very long waiting times. Placed an order online. They refunded it and when I asked why they didn't phone me first I was told to go f. Myself! Right in front if my 7 Yr old daughter. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING customer service here. When I asked why they refunded my order without calling first, I was told to "GO FK MYSELF" by the staff, in front of my 7 Yr old child. Nasty and disgusting.

Wife and I had food in it recently. Chips were woeful to say the least. Hard and cut offs. Need new potato dealer or fryer. Expensive also. Can't see us being there again.

Not the worst fish supper I've had but certainly far from the best. I waited 10 minutes before being served (I was the only customer in the premises), however the staff were pleasant but it seems that telephone/Internet orders take precedence. The fish was good quality but spoiled by undercooked batter, which was a soggy dough. A better use of my time would have been to drive to The Golden Cod/Maginty's.

Got a take out tonight for are dinner it was the worst dinner I every had and the food was like cheap will not be back if I was you I would stay away

Brilliant fish and chips, service can be a bit slow, they sometimes seem under staffed, and a wee bit dearer than I normally like to pay for a fish supper but then it is in a prime situation I guess and I do keep going back because they really have no competition without going out of town.

I went in for lunch and I ordered a cheesy chip and the lady serving me repeated after me "Gravy chip?" and I replied back "No cheesy chip please". I was sat down waiting for a while when I got the food it was a gravy chip. I had clearly stated I wanted a cheesy chip twice. I had no time to change my order as I had to be somewhere by a certain time. I was not happy with the service, I had been in once before and everything was fine except the long wait which is expected at lunch time. I will not be returning anytime soon.
