Went last night April 18. Service was excellent except I ordered the Fish pie which consisted of 95% potato and 5% fish. It was the worst fish pie I have ever eaten and at £28.50 the most expensive

We went here on a Thursday evening to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist who promptly showed us to our table. We’re not really people who do starters so we went straight to the mains. 2 Rotisserie 1/2 Chicken dishes, one with mushroom sauce and one with big chips and the other with the salad. I’ve never tasted such a juicy and flavourful chicken. Perfectly cooked and presented. We accompanied it with a large glass of white wine and a pint of Guinness. The couple sitting beside us commented how fantastic the wood grilled steaks they had were, one sirloin and one rump. Yip highly recommend. Food and service could not have been better.

A brief visit for a coffee and apple pie, both of which were delicious. I've visited here on a number of occasions, usually for breakfast or lunch and always found the food and the staff to be excellent. Today was no exception. The apple pie was offered with cream or custard, hot or cold. The latte was first class as was the service. Welcoming, polite and friendly. Thank you.

Quite loud because of the open concept, can hear the kitchen and everything else. Food was mediocre at best. Fries were mush and Cesar salad was drenched in oil, about four pieces of lettuce. Chicken was good though. Beef Berger had no sauce.

The food here is really awful, they use cheap cuts of meat but charge the same as other restaurants that provide good quality meat. Returned sirloin steak as it was substandard, it resembled frying steak rather that sirloin- thin, chewy and tough- definitely could not justify £18.95. I chose the burger as a replacement for the ‘sirloin’ unfortunately the quality was also poor, have had much better burgers from chip shops- thin, over processed, cheap meat & really bland. My partner had the rump streak, marginally better than the ‘sirloin’ but to be honest I’ve purchased more substantial steaks from Tesco at £3.50 each. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but because of the unacceptable standard of the food we definitely won’t be returning.

Quaint locale to get a pint but the food (or margherita pizza at least) is essentially cheese and a bit of suace on some dough (if home made, perhaps Lidl frozen ready)? American football on TV and that was it, we're out!

Had a chicken burger and must say it was huge and had a decent amount of chicken in it. Could do with a bit of seasoning that's my only fault.

Hate the setup of having to queue for your food to order, feel like I’m at McDonald’s. If this is a sit down restaurant, let me sit down. The young fella who was taking my food order was extremely rude, and has had no customer service training whatsoever but then again his rudeness might just be chalked up to lack of basic manners. The chilli beef rigatoni had no chilli in it and was very bland.
