Anne's Tearoom in Coleraine

My partner and I were in portrush today we had lunch in this delightful cafe we had saw a couple of reviews on Facebook about it so we thought while we were there we would try it for ourselves and we were not disappointed I had the cod and chips my partner had chicken curry and chips the food was excellent as was the service and very quick too I will definitely recommend this little gem to everyone

Visited Northern Ireland with my friend and stopped here whilst driving round the Antrim coast. I am vegetarian but my friend is not. Menu was good for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of veggie options I had a lovely Irish breakfast. Service was good and the young man who served us was very polite.

Superb food and service at a reasonable.price.

Serves good quality food. Hearty portions and very reasonable prices. A must after a cold dip in the port.

Visited this spot on a Saturday late morning. Was fairly busy, got a cappuccino. Got a mixed omelette with a side of chips and beans. The food serving was very generous and I enjoyed. The service was good and food was served quickly and to my preference. I’m not sure if they had staff missing but felt bad for the lad who was front of house as he was taking orders, completing drinks and cleaning tables. This meant it took awhile for our table to be cleaned and for me to get served. Would defo come back

Went here twice. First one was fine, second one was overcrowded, lack of staff. Had to clean up our table, get our own cutlery and napkins. Went to counter to order and the woman took the wrong order but we didn’t complain. That’s how busy it was around 12pm Food was fine, ordered meal deal of fish and chips and peas, chicken curry and chips and small breakfast of sausage, bacon, potato bread, soda bread, half pancake, egg. The price list as august 2023

What a fantastic find in Portrush beautiful home made food and piping hot just loved our lunch and the 2 young lads were amazing really worked away and under pressure never stopped Well done Ann’s will defo return

Got the Small Fry with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious. Generous portion at a good price. Highly recommended!

Stopped in for scones and coffee, great value we'll presented food. Drinks a little slow arriving, but pleased overall.

Food lovely it is a busy wee cafe

Reviewed 2019 with 5 star comments. Changed times, 4 young lads on tables with no interest in customers or their needs . Breakfasts ,cold with postage size pieces the egg biggest item on the plate, bacon tough as auld boots ,had to ask twice for tea then for milk . Sadly this eatery has gone from Hero to Zero we are all so disappointed , the change is unbelievable . I write this in my honest opinion without malice and hope the bosses can bring this cafe back to its former glory .. Plenty of competition out there so just don’t be too complacent . Could end up costly .

Had a lovely brunch on the Thursday and staff couldn't do enough for you, but on the Friday we put our order in at 940am then a team of workmen arrived in. They seemed to take priority, as they got fed we had to wait 50mins before we got our brunch. Just disappointing after a great experience on the Thursday.

Had a lovely breakfast, great service, pleasant surroundings, just not keen on the sausages, a bit too fatty, everything else was great.

Lovely hidden treasure in Portrush. Bargain great tasting food with friendly service. Will definitely be again.

Hot chocolate was very nice and warm and a good price as well. Will definitely be back for another hot chocolate only thing missing about the hot chocolate was no marshmallows in it but that not a big thing. Will be back for another.

Fantastic food the pancakes on the fry are amazing 🤩 good selection, nothing seemed to much bother

I recently visited Anne's Tearoom, I had a large fry, food was well cooked and presented, portions great. Value for money was amazing. Saff very good and ambiance great and you can bring your dog to this homely Tearoom.

Lovely place for a quick bite with the family. Our boys loved it. They’ve good food for the kids and they’re all really kind but most of all the scones are to die for

Stopped in here after a walk in the cold wind for scones and coffee. Delicious choice. Cafe was very clean

Great place it was very clean and the staff were friendly. when our food came it was obvious they make their own pancakes which were absolutely delicious. very few places make their own.bacon pancake stack and small fry both were perfect and well priced too.

Wonderfully comfortable and welcoming. Quiet little sanctuary which were brilliant with the kids. Milkshakes were amazing and good value.

We had a selection of food including cheeseburgers bacon wraps and chips, it was all very good and the drinks were amazing too, would highly recommend this restraint to the people of Northern Ireland.

Friendly helpful staff and fast service

Front staff were pretty surly, the food was very slow and rather average in quality. It was clean and the portions were a decent size although toast was extra to a main breakfast.

Good freshly cooked meals and snacks. Great staff. Loved the pineapple and mango smoothie.

Nipped in for quick morning coffee and scones, usually would frequent the bigger named premises in the town, but found Anne's fantastic scones really fresh and full of flavour, service great and the guy who served us very friendly and helpful without being OTT, our new place in the Port

Took a very early walk at the Cliff walk in Portstewart and built up an appetite. Had an excellent large fry here and a pot of tea. Very "clean" fry (no grease) and perfectly cooked. Came quickly and was reasonably priced. Cafe filled up with people just after I arrived so it's obviously well known for its food. Very friendly staff. I'll be back!

Lovely little restaurant, very friendly staff and value for money, Had a traditional Irish meal; chips, egg and sausages, No complaints!

Took 30 minutes to get 2 very basic paninis . One panini came without chicken which was ordered on it. They forgot about the chips which we ordered and had to wait an extra 10 minutes for. Food was okay at best. Staff didn’t seem to care about anything. There was no coffee either as the grinder on the machine was broken, and didn’t seem to be any rush on to do anything about it. And to top it all off got charged £1.50 each for 2 glasses of tap water. Brutal experience.

Very slow and food came out like it was dropped on the floor . 40min to get a sausage and chip, chicken panini and a omelet. Omelet ordered red onion sausage chicken and mushrooms. Came without red onion or sausage . Panini came out cold and very little filling. Would not return . Tea was Coldish in the pot. Hate when you order they charge you cause if not I wouldn't have waited 40min. Food taste wise was OK but would not return as the previous reviews stated hygiene wouldn't be great either .

Went for breakfast, the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Good honest traditional cooking and menu. Fry up was like something your Ma would make you, enough said.

Lovely staff & food was amazing

Tasty, good value food but i did not feel comfortable with the Covid precautions. Tables were very close together; the door was tightly closed and there was no visible means of ventilation. Not all customers wore masks as they moved around and some of the staff covered only their mouths. Would not be in a hurry to go back, for safety reasons.

We wanted a quick lunch so tried Anne's. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed a toastie and a dressed burger with chips. Both excellent chips really dry. Would recommend.

Lovely fry here and a nice coffee also and not too long a wait , nice inside and staff nice and attentive, one less star for the young lad on the till who seemed clueless but overall worth a visit if in Portrush .

This little cafe was very convenient to where we were staying and previous reports .Reasonably clean with friendly service.Good choice of fare and reasonably priced.Food arrived promptly but as we were the only customers there as it should be.Food a bit greasy but tasty enough.As there is plenty of local competition nearby i would probably try them, but still a reasonable cheap eat.

Came in and all tables were not cleared and dirty. Sat down and food came down. Table was still not cleared or wiped. And they even had the cheek to set the cutlery down on a dirty table. Disgusting and will not be back.

Very friendly staff, nothing too much bother. Good value for money. The fry looked lovely but was very greasy, especially the egg. Would go again but avoid the fry.

Popped in cause l managed to get a parking spot outside . ANNE’S. had only opened and me being first in ordered full breakfast and tea . Without doubt not one of , but the best breakfast l have ever had . Many years l have been commenting on many eateries around the UK and Ireland and always give a true and honest opinion Anne’s comes tops for quality of food , cleanliness wonderful staff and price . Great meal here would recommend it to anyone staff are polite and helpful only downfall not much room to move take a table away and rearrange the rest and it should help

Busy little place in spite of being in a quite part of the town and popular with both tourists and the locals.Large Ulster fry very reasonably priced but a little too greasy for my liking,need to take a bit more care in the kitchen.Place your order at the counter and will be served to your table by friendly young staff.

Found this lovely little cafe by accident and so glad that i did . staff are very friendly and the food lovely and very reasonable . will definetly be my go to place when i am next in portrush !!

To find a lovely friendly place when travelling, is great, to have the locals include you is even better. From the mouths of the locals and the shop owners , better than a travel agent. Breaky was yummy , with a welcoming feel in the cafe'

Lovely, friendly, homely feeling cafe the food was lovely and reasonably priced.

Food was ok for café type food but service is woeful. People were walking out after waiting far too long; service provided by young lads whilst the adults where hiding in the back. For a dish to be 'put' onto the table and some of its contents to come off the plate for them to pick it up with fingers and put it back on your plate Infront of you without a care in the world. No thanks.

Would definitely recommend this cafe any day the food is excellent and the staff make you want to come back just so you can talk to them. Only criticism would be that the decor is a bit dated but that means nothing.

First off I have to say the food was amazing, ordered 3 Fry's and coffees and toast. Price was excellent for the amount, you get good hearty Northern Irish Fry's. Food was quick and came out with the coffees. Only downsize was the staff member who served us was a wee bit grumpy (I know we can all have our bad days) but he just mumbled serving us and then as he brought the plate of toast down in putting it on the table the butter portions went flying. I would definitely return but just up the customer service a wee bit.

Brilliant Fried breakfast for me and the Mrs. was very impressed with her scone.

Great wee spot for a Saturday morning fry.

Last popped in here on a visit to Portrush two years ago...had told our friends how good it was, so nervous about swinging back. Wasn't disappointed...another great Ulster Fry on both the Sat and Sunday of our visit.

Me and my partner love Anne’s tearoom. We go here every time we are in Portrush which is quite often. The fry’s are beautiful. Lovely staff and a nicely decorated place.

Excellent stop off for a good simple meal. Staff are young, but enthusiastic and helpful. An alternative to the more commercial ones round the harbour..

Excellent food and service as always why would I pay enhanced prices elsewhere during Air show
