We came across this cafe during our recent visit to the town. The food was lovely as was the coffee. The staff were lovely and attentive and made us feel very welcome. Thank you and we will definitely aim to come back when we next visit. The takeaway cheese scone we had later was also really lovely.

Never fails to deliver brilliant home cooked food. Visit often but the steak and kidney pie last week was truly outstanding. As a southerner in Yorkshire so few places actually do kidney with most being ale or just steak. It was jam packed with both steak and kidney, all delicious. Soups are something else too. Sandwiches are always fantastic, fresh and full of excellent fillings. A big shout out not only to Lisa but especially the lovely Ellie out front

We booked Avenue 141 for a birthday celebration. The evening was huge success. From the canapés to the desserts, the meal was delicious. The student staff were attentive and professional and nothing was too much trouble, especially considering we were a large group. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and I cannot recommend it highly enough Thank you for a memorable evening Avenue 141

I've eaten here before and the food was lovely. Today was disappointing, Sunday lunch. Beef was chewy and only 2 potatoes but over loaded with cauliflower cheese. Dessert was also not the best. Creme broule tart base was soggy and the poached pear was solid. The other main was spinach and ricotta pasta which was dry, bland and rubbery. Such a contrast from my last visit

Wonderful little find. Absolutely delicious cakes and then returned next day for breakfast (also amazing) and more cakes. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and personally loved the music play list. A special little place that is definitely worth a visit (maybe more than one!)

Visited with my wife and our two dogs for a cream tea and was treated like royalty. The staff are very friendly and the premises are immaculately clean. The rules about the importance of putting the jam on the scones first are clearly explained by the waitress prior to us tucking in. The dogs were treated to pieces of sausage free of charge by the chef and so didn’t feel left out. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this tearoom.

We turned up just prior to them opening, the weather was foul but they let us in anyway. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was just.....lovely. And the pair of them are just amazing, welcoming, friendly and I cannot fault the visit. Daisy is just adorable!!! Will definitely be back. Hoping to book joint work birthday afternoon tea in June.

Nipped in for some brekky, plenty of staff about, but had to order at the till which seems abit odd. Food served quickly, nice enough, price was reasonable compared to most other breakfast spots in town, certainly to sit down. Menus could do with replacing as they all seemed abit tatty.

Hired the space out for my birthday party. Gabriel & team were brilliant - great communication from the team and they went above & beyond to make sure the night went well! The food was excellent! The venue space is lovely and works well for a party. A massive thank you to Gabriel & all the staff at Blend kitchen - will definitely be recommending this venue space to my friends!

Gutted. Have heard so much about this place and the infamous KF Ceaser. To be fair. Had sausage roll also which was good. The chicken for the Ceaser was ‘wet’ and very soft/mushy, in texture and quite bland. The bread just didn’t seem too fresh. Was just cold baguette / sub. I was looking forward so much. One bite and sadly threw away.
