The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Visited a few weeks ago - Lucy was fantastic, great vibes, helpful and humorous. I had been meaning to leave a review at the time and forgot, but it was a great meal at Nandos !! :)

Went here for food with a friend, amazing place, very modern and has a calming atmosphere for dining, staff were really helpful and friendly, food was incredible, would highly recommend coming here.

We have lived locally for a few years and we have had a take away meal from Zarda Cottage before, but never eaten in house. We did this Saturday and were very impressed with the service and the quality of the meal

The juice was one of the bestest things served which made me like the resturant a lot. The food is also very similar to what desi people eat. Would recommend to everyone

We travelled a distance to the Smokehouse only to find that there is now no cafe and just as important no loos. So we had to immediately abandon our shopping trip without spending a penny.

We were visiting Preston for the weekend and we decided to spend our Sunday night at the Ferret. Really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere with live music. Good selection of drinks and well priced. Young girl on the bar kindly ordered us a taxi We only asked if she knew a number for a local cab firm so service was spot on. I would love to visit here again but I don't live local. If I am in the area again I will be sure to come back.

Fantastic service for our group of seven. Friendly, helpful, attentive and the food came out in good time. We ordered 2 mixed grills for 4 people, and the food took up the whole table to start with, very generous portions. Chicken was amazing, as was the pulled pork, and beef brisket. Mac n cheese was good, as were the other sides apart from the coleslaw which was not nice. Also the ribs were really disappointing... the flavour was nice enough, but they were really tough and dry, a really hard eat.

Great service and super friendly staff. Had a really fun time with the family and food was super filling. Wow those milkshakes are very good!

Amazing brunch for 15. Really lovely food and plenty of booze. Highly recommend for big or small group! Brilliant service too!

I hope they open soon , as im big fan of afghani food , everytime with my family we have to travel to Southampton, im sure everyone from Portsmouth would love afghani delicious foods!

Un des meilleurs endroit de notre séjour , on n’y mange très copieusement, et en plus c’est délicieux, Stéphane nous a accueilli et conseillé en français ! Top du top !

We came from manchester to try this restaurant the food was amazing with great service I'll definitely come again thank you for your good service
