As the weather warms up, and us Brits need the sun more than ever, the massive beer garden becomes absolutely packed: it's loud, it's crowded, the queue for the bar (and its expensive drinks) is massive and when the live music starts up it gets difficult to hold a normal conversation. (It also wasn't very good, but that's not the pub's fault). But that's not why you're here. You're here to see and be seen. Early doors was nice, but as the afternoon progressed, we felt it wasn't really for us and left others to it. The Oast House is a Manchester staple, of course, and I'm sure to be back.

Fantastic experience and really lovely food. The portions for the lamb could have been slightly bigger but we asked for some extra chip and they came back extremely quickly! Daria looked after us very well, she was a very attentive host and ensure that all our needs were met throughout a brilliant meal. She enabled us to have a lovely family.

Do not give this business your money, the restaurant inside is dirty and unkept to a point the lady up front watched me wipe the table down myself. The chips are always stale and I do not dare to think how unhygienic the kitchens in the back are or how they store ingredients. I honestly believe this place needs inspecting and shutting down

Im thirteen years old As a mega fan of Gordon Ramsay I was let down with the meal. I got the ribeye steak which cost 40 pounds and while the flavor was all there I expected more it was just a steak on a white plate nothing else I had to order a seven pound Mac and cheese for a side just to make the plate feel less empty. Even as a thirteen year old I know presentation is everything and this was just not it. As much as I was looking forward to this meal on my first trip to London maybe it is time that Gordon focuses more on the restaurants and less on the 15 fox network shows that he hosts. In all fifteen of his shows especially next level chef he stresses presentation and this did not meet my expectations. You see him on TV preaching good plating and presentation yet he doesn’t stress that to the chefs at his own restaurants

Very disappointed. The mozzarella sticks were not homemade neither were the accompanying sauces. So easy to make these fresh too and really would expect this from an Italian restaurant. The pizza bases lacked in a pinch of salt. Pasta was ok but could have been so much nicer.

I've seen this place many times while driving but once decided to pop in and see what's it like. The place made absolutely amazing impression. Food is top quality, marinated meats hanging next to the grill and tastes great. Another thing is the place is really tidy and clean. I'll come over every week.

I’m really disappointed this restaurant is a shambles the service is mediocre the staff were rude and playing with bouncing balls on the restaurant floor. Furthermore we ordered a Melissa special platter for 2 and the portions were atrocious the lamb diner only had 6 strands of meat and the chicken doner that was on the plate seemed like someone had Given us leftovers you couldn’t even see the chicken. £45 for two. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. Spend your money somewhere else, ima foodie and a blogger know what I’m talking about the kitchen staff were very rude not welcoming at all. Kofte lacked flavour the only Good thing was the chilli sauce the tatziki and the bread
