Amazing breakfast - generous portions, and high quality ingredients, with great tea and coffee too. The owners were so friendly too, and lovely indoor heated setting if required. We went based on the recommendation of others....and they weren't wrong!

Had a lovely cup of coffee and sandwich . The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to this little gem.of a place.

While waiting for my daughter ,I called in for a coffe (yummy) & then decided to have a bacon butty we’ll absolutely scummy the roll was sooooo good .definitely worth a visit .p.s my daughter who is coeliac also had a bacon butter & said it was the best ever .so huge thanks for that one as she’s really really picky!! Well done lovely ladies xx

Found by chance after seeing the sign on main road. What a lovely little spot. Nice indoor seating areas if wet. Nice coffees and great choice of food.

Really lovely cycle lunch stop on a beautiful sunny Friday. Set back from main road so very peaceful with great views. Secure outside area with lots of toddler toys (perfect for mum/dads to meet up). Lots of choice of hot/cold food. Had enormous baguette freshly made and great coffee. Hadn’t been for a couple of years and now has more inside seating if weather turns. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend a visit but beware only open seasonally Monday to Friday 9-3. Closed weekends.

Really friendly staff and best breakfast ever. Set off the road 100m on a farm a little difficult to spot from the road but we’ll worth the visit.

Love this cafe for meeting up with friends. Always made welcome by the lovely ladies there. Seating inside or in garden.

Stopped here on a beautiful week day. Really friendly welcome, great outside setting (although some inside seating too). Great range of coffees, hot and cold baps/baguettes/all day breakfast etc. I had lovely full salmon/cream cheese and salad baguette. Hubby had all day breakfast which comes in disposable box. Lovely find. We’ll be back!

Two bikers dropped in for bacon and sausage rolls and a cuppa. Food prep area, tables and toilets exceptionally clean. Very friendly service. Will definitely be coming back.

We came up from Sussex to buy a motorhome just up from the hole in the hedge, and was pleased that we visited for coffees and sandwiches. This cafe is excellently presented being clean and tidy, fresh products and hot coffee.(The staff are pretty good to). We will be back in January when we come up to collect our motorhone

Had a lovely lunch here with the grandchildren whilst our motorhome was being looked at up the road. Food was excellent as was the service. A lovely little cafe that seemed quite well known even though it is out in the middle of nowhere. Will definitely visit again.

Took a ride to 'Hole in the hedge' today and was glad that I did. Pretty unique rural surroundings, likeable staff and great food. (Thanks) Will definitely return 👍

Discovered this little independently run café quite by chance while heading to the M40. Had an excellent coffee and a lovely sandwich while sitting watching the open countryside and fields of sheep. Very soothing ! Will make this a regular stop from now on - so much better than the poor coffee, service and food in a typical motorway service station !

Visited for lunch today. Great breakfast baguette, massive cup of tea, smashed avo, tomato & gorgeous, thick-cut bacon on toast . Followed by a really good hot chocolate & lemon drizzle cake. This was our 1st visit & we look forward to returning soon.

I visit this fantastic cafe daily as we work locally and it truly is superb in every way. Delicious food, great value, super friendly service, and the best soups any of us have ever had, anywhere! It’s got a great feeling of being hidden away too, so a nice spot to hide away from the world, as you admire stunning scenery over the fields. Everything is freshly made, thoughtfully prepared, using high quality ingredients. Highly and thoroughly recommended by me and my colleagues

What a find!! Lovely friendly staff serve wonderful breakfast and coffee in a great setting. Best to ring ahead especially if you need it in a hurry. Nice little summerhouse overlooking the farm. Recommend here if you are in Brackley/ Banbury area.

Delicious food and excellent coffee. Good choices for vegan and gluten free. Cozy summer house overlooking the farm, with the added bonus of sheep in the field today. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the avocado smashed on toast and could not resist the home baked cakes. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome, good food with decent portion size and happy to fill my travel mug with tea. A nice place to stop and handy if you prefer a change from the big chains. Hope to be back soon.

As somewhere to stop for breakfast/ brunch, this is an excellent little cafe. The food is fresh and tasty and the cafe is cosy, even on a cold winters day, with rugs for the lap if necessary. I can’t wait to visit on a warm spring day when you can sit outside and enjoy the countryside.

I called in for lunch before food shopping. The homemade soup was delicious and a good sized portion too. There was a great selection of food, all of which looked very tasty. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, it was very relaxing on a sunny day in a lovely setting.

We visited for breakfast and were really impressed. Really friends proprietors, scenic location, good food, great coffee, and apparently some of the best gluten free bread that my wife has ever tasted. Looking forward to our next visit.

We came here by luck, completly frozen and left in very god mood. The Hole in the hedge is located on a farm and it has a heated shack with a few tables.
