The Factory in Hinckley and Bosworth

I came here for a wedding celebration, and it was a perfect place to hold it. Not too big, not too small, a decent selection of drinks (including a Swedish IPA!). The staff mae sure there was enough seating as the evening went on and there seemed to be a constant supply of chips once the food came out

We booked a baby shower and gender reveal for our daughter at The Factory Hinckley. It was an amazing day and the place is perfect and unusual with such character. Family business and so helpful with everything we needed. Various food options hot cold and and we chose to mix some of the food from different options. The food was fresh and tasty friends and family commented how good it was. They offer various options of decorations that they can offer for hire and were very helpful when we visited to discuss what we wanted. One night when we visited it was set up for a wedding the next day and looked amazing how it had been set up and decorated. The bar is set up well and everyone enjoyed. We were so pleased with the whole experience and would definitely book again. They do birthdays, weddings, baby showers and any other party that you want definitely recommend and you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be booking again for another venue. I booked this venue for a gala dinner event. The space is well presented, clean and classy. It was perfect for what we needed it for. Mick and his team are very helpful and very very accommodating. We had some very specific requirements for our function and the team helped to make everything possible. Everyone enjoyed the evening and we look forward to booking in for our 2020 gala dinner.

We had our evening wedding reception a few weeks ago mainly for our family and friends to have a drink and celebrate! The food choices were lovely and everyone enjoyed! Canapés were given out before the cake cut and afterwards a selection of cheeses and other nibbles! The variety of alcohol on offer was also outstanding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! They decorated the room beautifully with fair lights and displayed out guest boom & postbox lovely too! I would recommend The Factory to everyone for a good party, nothing was too much for these guys! 10/10!!!

The premises licence holder shall ensure that adequate arrangements, including transport, are implemented for ensuring the wellbeing of children at the conclusion of any regulated entertainment under their licence. Relevant considerations could include: – Will access be restricted to certain areas of the premises? – Is there adequate supervision? – Are the areas covered by CCTV? – Will alcohol sales be restricted in areas where children are permitted? – How will under 18's be prevented from accessing alcohol?

Just had a meal & a few beers with my son. Friendly staff & pleasant ambience. Both had haggis burgers with French fries & coleslaw, which was quite tasty & fairly well presented. We both enjoyed the food & service but would I come here with my wife to eat? Probably not.

We were married abroad and held a reception here on our return for family and friends. The building is delightful and sparked the interest of my family who have lived locally all their lives. Its full of original features and industrial charm; it really feels warm and welcoming. The perfect place for a great party! We had a three course dinner in the early evening and the food and service were excellent. Everything was served promptly to all guests and was beautifully presented. The highlight was our starter of Anti Pasti. There was so much variation and it was fresh and plentiful. The servers were personable, polite and quick to react to requests. We didn't feel rushed but neither did we sit around waiting for the next course. It was very well executed. In the evening we had canapés which were again of the same high standard as the dinner. There was so much delicious food to eat and it all looked as good as it tasted. We also had a doughnut tower which was amazing and a real talking point with our evening guests. The venue has all the facilities you could ask for for a great party. We streamed our own playlist through the sound system which sounded brilliant. We were also able to project our wedding photograph onto a wall which looked really effective and went perfectly when we cut the cake and had our first dance. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced and we were even able to order in a specific lager that many of our guest enjoy. We had a great experience with The Factory. From the advice they gave us when we planned the event, to their help on the evening. Mick and Marta are super people who worked hard to make everything run smoothly and did it with a smile on their face- extremely professional and highly competent. They know what they're doing! I would not hesitate to recommend The Factory to anybody thinking of a celebration there. I only wish I could do it all again myself!

I came here for a friends wedding reception. I wasn't aware that it was there but it was lovely inside. Very nicely decorated, shame its not very big. Ideal for small parties/celebrations.

We held our 40th birthday party at The Factory last weekend. Safe to say we had the most wonderful and memorable time. Mick, Marta and the whole team were so professional, attentive and accomodating; nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and we absolutely loved the venue. It has a great vibe and was a fantastic communal space for a party as well as having a quieter room with settees at the back and a small balcony (nice for fresh air once the dancing started!) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Factory. Thank you!!!!!!

We have just celebrated our friends 40th birthday at the Factory and were really impressed with the whole set up. Easy to find and park and once you get in the right door you work your way up the quirky stair well and enter under high ceiling full of wooden beams with a lovely decor showing off the history of the old hosiery factory. Cute bar area with plenty of decent drink choice, bar man was great, cocktails available too. Staff were great throughout the evening. Great atmosphere in the place and a perfect space for any sort of celebration/function. Highly recommend you check this place out if you are going to be planning an event soon.

What an amazing venue, so full of character and charm. We held our daughters 16th birthday party here, we couldn't have wished for a better venue. I would like to give special thanks to Marta who helped me will all my planning prior to the party, she gave some great ideas. The Buffet was out of this world, so many guests commented how lovely it was to have a fresh buffet at a party, hot food was hot. We made use of the lovely chocolate fountain which was an absolute hit with everyone (i didn't get a look in) also our fantastic doughnut tower made by Marta. I really don't have enough words to thank you all for making it a night to remember. We will certainly be returning here for any future get togethers and i will be recommending to everyone. Thank you all again!!

Had a party here a few weeks back and thoroughly enjoy it. The venue was amazing. The staff were all lovely. The food was fantastic. Certainly would recommend to anyone who wants a venue with character.

A great venue, this is the 6th time we've been here for parties and we've always enjoyed ourselves. Just the right size, not too small, not too big, full of character. Thanks for hosting us again, much appreciated.

First apologise to Mick and team as it has taken me a little while to write this review. Me and my partner would like to thank everyone involved at The Factory for putting on a fantastic evening to celebrate our Engagement. Everything from the food (buffet & sweet cart) drink (cocktails went down a treat) and hospitality was spot on and we loved every minute of our party. A slight fault with the electrics on the day, however the workmen didn't start work until after our party which meant we had full power throughout the night. If anyone is looking for a function room for a party then The Factory is the place to go. Thanks again Mick and team for such fantastic service, no doubt we will come here again.

The factory is a well preserved function room housed within an old stocking factory. The room is quite small. But was ideal for my son and fiancee's engagement party. Staff were very helpful, and we're not fased by problems with power, and, thanks workmen for waiting till past midnight . Buffet was excellent.

My friend held an 18th birthday party here for a few friends and family and the room was a perfect size for such a party, lovely feel to the place and wasn't difficult to find though I know some people may have had problems. Nice bar staff (unsure whether they were provided with rental or hired separately) good facilties also available would definitely go again.

Had a great evening , Mick and his crew were great and catered for all Claire's and the parties needs , we dressed the room with paper lanterns and sorted a play list , we had approx 90 guests who all enjoyed there's and Claire's evening . The venue is is different a bit quirky but cool , would recommend to anyone

I had my wedding reception here on the 25th July this year. It was the best venue I and my guest have ever been too! I must admit I read some reviews on here and worried but they are all wrong. The owners could not do enough to to help. The food was brilliant. They accommodated all the gluten free family members and they ate the same as the rest. There was more than enough food and we even had to say to the cooks to stop as we didn't want their efforts wasted. They are family friendly and highly professional. All I can say is if you want a stress free wonderful day then this is the place to book. So all in all the venue helped make the day!

Brilliant! We had our reception here Saturday and had such a great time,from the time of booking this venue Mick was so helpful couldn't do enough to help make our night exactly how we wanted,very honest and try's to make everything perfect for you.On the night we had canapés and cheese board which was really tasty and went down a treat!all staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough,aswell as running the bar they also took song request and everything that was asked for got played. Would highly recommend for a wedding,party etc. anything you need.Thank you all at the factory!

I have been delivering training for years, a good training venue makes a massive difference. The factory staff are fantastic and bent over backwards to help me. For example carrying items for me and a parking space at the rear of the building. I can't praise the factory enough.

A superb venue, tastefully restored with an emphasis on its local heritage. It proved to be the ideal location for my daughter's 18th birthday party. Though all the staff were excellent, Marta and Terry in particular were great. Overall, the facilities, atmosphere and the contribution of everyone at ' The Factory' made for a great party.

We held our engagement party at The Factory on 11th Oct.Everything was perfect,from the wonderfully restored building,the music,the food and a great atmosphere.Mick and his family couldn't do enough for us to make sure we all had a great night and his wife Kay's food is amazing.We have only lived in Hinckley since March,and there just can't be a better place to hold a party.

my son held his wedding party here, in July I have to say that mick and his family are wonderful host. even took our other son to his hotel @ the end of the evening rather than use a taxi, now that takes some beating from any host.kay did a wonderful spread for the budget, would recommend this place to everyone

I have used The Factory in Hinckley Leicestershire around 6 times over the last few years, for studio days as I'm a photographer and also for my wife's 40th birthday party! I have also attended other celebrations as a guest! The use of this building is a refreshing change, and can be used as a blank canvas for meetings or parties With a well stocked bar and open choice of food, I struggle to give any down sides. the atmosphere and look of this old factory is what gave me the wow factor when I first walked in, and the reason why I will look forward to returning. I had a birthday party at the Factory, owner Mick & Kay could not be more helpfull, food was excellant, a fantastic evening was had by all.

Considering this use to be a hosiery mill employing small children to work looms it has come on leaps and bounds, it has great atmosphere and great staff, it is tucked away down a one way street but it is a real little gem. Fantastic for birthdays, weddings, bar mitzvah's and a myriad of other events - the budget is good, food is good, staff are very helpful and the place looks great. Had an xmas do here and have also been to a birthday party - both were very good nights!.
