House Kitchen in Hinckley and Bosworth

This is my local, so maybe I'm a wee bit biased. But it's a great pub, and the food is fantastic. All the staff are very efficient. The seating is very comfortable. It's a relaxing place to go. A bit pricy, however.

We visited today as a group of 5 for a late lunch. The service and food was excellent. We highly recommend the desserts too.

First time taking grandchildren after restrictions lifted. Felt very safe, guidelines clearly explained, nothing too much trouble for staff. Great choice on menu, especially for children, all homemade, served hot & tasty, beautifully presented. So impressed, will definately return. Thankyou House Kitchen 😊

Had a few takeaways from here and they are always 10/10. Tried a few dishes and each one doesn’t disappoint, hot and delicious! Owner is lovely, can’t recommend enough!

I would highly recommend House Kitchen, i ordered the valentine meal for two at home in lockdown 3, 4 courses for £48.50 they pulled out all the stops, with table decorations amazing food and delivered to your door, amazing instructions how to warm up cook your steaks ect, we both loved it, it made our date night, thank you House kitchen.

We’ve missed not being able to nip to the local for the excellent food and service at the Cross Keys. So glad the takeaway service is up and running now though. The food is amazing, hot, tasty and served swiftly. Really looking forward to being able to come back again once re-opened fully, but in the mean time the takeaway is still hugely recommended.

Had an amazing vegan pizza and pudding served by the charming and very service minded Aaron. Will definitely make this a regular family event.

Five of us, including a 5 year old & 2 year old, went for lunch on 29 December. The food and service were excellent. Not a typical Sunday roast menu but after Christmas it was just what was needed. Our meals consisted of Pie, King Prawn Curry, Fish & Chips & children's meals of Pizza & Fish Goujons & chips. Desserts were also good, Chocolate Brownie, Caramelized lemon tart & Ice creams. Even the children were happy so House Kitchen must be doing something right! The Cross Keys where they are based is my local pub & it's great to have somewhere that's in walking distance where I can take my family when they visit.

My husband and I come here fairly regularly for lunch and it never disappoints! Highly recommend the Malaysian curry with chicken. The pizzas are also delicious, and the posh chips are a must-try! Service is superb as always. So happy to see all the other positive reviews 😊

Enjoyed a Sunday lunch today at House Kitchen which resides inside The Cross Keys in Burbage. This was our first time eating here, and we thought the food was top class and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious fish and chips followed by ‘ The best sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted’ Lovely service from Aran , Amber and Izzy. Definitely well worth a visit ! 😊

We have been a couple of times before and this, once again, didn't dissapoint! Visited as a couple, with the dog, for Pizza and Prosecco Thursdays. Excellent pizzas, in a nice chilled atmosphere, and the beer is as good as always. Aside from the kitchen team making excellent pizzas, a big shout out to Rabiah the waitress who was friendly, efficient and charming as well as being super busy and everywhere at once, all whilst wearing a smile. Great night :)

Visited lunchtime greeted warmly with a smile, good menu choice, waitress answered all our questions regarding dishes, prompt polite service of well presented food. Our first visit but will definately return. 😊

Visited with family a week ago for lunch. We were all impressed with this great pub with a lovely atmosphere, great friendly staff and wonderful food too. I had delicious smoked haddock with samphire and a beurre blanc sauce sitting on creamy mashed potato. My son and daughter were equally impressed with their choices. We shared 2 delicious puddings. Everything was home made and freshly prepared. The chef Matt came out and chatted with us. He has some great ideas for different events in the future. Well done House Kitchen.

Visited the new House kitchen within the Cross keys tonight and have to say it was fantastic. I had the pleasure of sampling their pizzas which were fantastic when they launched a few weeks ago as I work for another local business in the area and they kindly delivered us one. We decided to try something different tonight and sampled their burger and their fish and chips. We regularly walk into the village for a drink but found it fantastic that we were able to eat whilst out as well. The staff behind the bar were great, the surroundings very relaxing and cosy and the food staff ( Lisa) so welcoming and friendly made the evening perfect. The food was so tasty it ended in 2 very clean plates. Will definitely return and highly recommend to try. Great asset to the village.
