The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Warm welcome today, lady serving said they were new to the pub , her husband was in the kitchen. We ordered from menu which was adequate for lunch , hot beef sandwiches with fries, hot and delicious. We wish the new management luck in their new venture and hope people will give this pub a chance. We will be back.

Trabajé unos turnos aquí con mi amigo. Cuando entré en mi primer turno, la mujer que dirigía el lugar ni siquiera sabía quién era yo. Me preguntó si estaba “comiendo o sacando”. Le dije que me había contratado unos días antes y me dijo groseramente que subiera y me dio un delantal roto. Recibí £ 6 por trabajar 4 horas, sin incluir propinas. Cuando cada miembro del personal recibió sus propinas, la anciana hizo que todos dieran propinas y las dividió entre todos, dejándome con una propina de 50 p. El lugar era antihigiénico y frío helado. Había comida en el suelo y parecía que no había sido limpiada. El lugar estaba polvoriento y muy desatendido. El personal era grosero y era en general un lugar horrible para trabajar. No recomendaría en absoluto. Genuinamente asqueroso.

He estado en este pub en varias ocasiones y creo que no he tenido un vaso limpio para mi bebida todavía! El incidente más reciente involucró lo que parecía un pequeño pedazo de raíz vegetal flotando en mi bebida.

I cannot fault anything about this place all the staff are so welcoming and one member of staff went out of their way to be polite and even called us by our names she was called Courtney and definitely an asset to the restaurant. The food is always fresh and hot. The environment is so covid safe which is so important for me.

Impromptu lunch , steak and Guinness pie , really tasty , great crust ! Super friendly service , really enjoyed with a great hand pulled pint in a glorious setting .

Después de un largo paseo y visitar el pintoresco pueblo de RHB estábamos deseando un merecido pastel y café. Desearía que nunca fuéramos a este lugar para ser honestos. Mesas sin limpiar, dueño estresante detrás del mostrador, pastel sabía como si hubiera estado en la nevera durante días. Sin opción de té. El peor de todos es el baño. Es asqueroso que no haya cerradura en la puerta y que el inodoro no se enjuague y esté sucio. También hay que seguir al dueño en la calle para pagar con tarjeta ya que su máquina sin contacto no funciona en la cafetería. Falta de WiFi parece pero no muy profesional en un café caro.

Came here with friends for food and was pretty disappointed by the staff, very rude and very little customer service skills. The food was OK but I won't be returning if I visit Hull again

La ubicación y el lugar son hermosos, a pesar de que la comida es consistentemente muy pobre, recomendaría una visita (pero tal vez solo para una bebida! )

Aggressive doorstaff and badly trained manager A regular customer denied the toilet because the bar was shut even though customers were still inside drinking Violent over reaction by the poor excuse of a doorman and couldn't care less attitude of the manager. The fact that she let's 6 year olds collect the empties says it all And the complaints form on Wetherspoons website is so bad

I went here with my daughter and decided we would eat whilst we were there - that was a big mistake!! My daughter decided to have the vegetarian breakfast, no vegetarian sausages so she said she would still have it without the sausages, They asked if she would like an extra portion of anything, agreed to have extra hash browns. White or brown bread? Brown please. When it arrived no extra hash browns, soggy cold spinach, undercooked egg, white bread and real bacon!

He decidido escribir esta opinión después de otra comida decepcionante en el café Irton Garden Centre. Nos sirvieron nuestras bebidas de inmediato, pero esperamos 35 minutos para nuestras comidas a pesar de que el café estaba bastante vacío en el momento de nuestra visita. La calidad de la comida no era buena y ciertamente no vale la pena la cantidad que pagamos. Es una pena ya que nos gusta mucho el centro de jardinería en sí.

To the owner of the fairways, you do not deserve your staff. The fairways is MASSIVELY understaffed, the staff are rushing round like something demented, one person trying to do the work of 3. Sunday lunchtime - one bar staff serving drinks and doing orders for lunch. One young girl in the restaurant serving meals , clearing tables and wiping tables and setting them PLUS taking bookings. The chef, cooking meals, filling up the veg containers, serving lunch and carving meat. We have been going for Sunday lunch every week for over 2 years and as staff have left they have not been replaced. Something needs to be done before they start losing custom.

Worst chips I’ve ever tasted at The Tea Bar. Tasteless and chewey Curry sauce awful. Had lumps in. Nothing like the curry sauce you’d expect. Even the seagulls wouldn’t eat the chips!

No estoy satisfecho con esta experiencia debido a los sándwiches. Pedí un sándwich de falafel y menta muy caro y tenía un sabor cursi y una extraña enredadera. Luego, después de pedir que se mirara y se intercambiara, tuve que pagar por uno nuevo. ¡No estoy impresionado!

Such friendly helpful staff. Food is what you expect. Great kids meals. Fast service . Such a great little cafe . Such good value meals and now have free refil coffee such a bargin
