Visited here this morning for a 'Vegetarian Breakfast', and it is one of my favourite Wetherspoons so far. A huge venue over two floors and it is decorated really well. There is also a very nice roof terrace. Friendly service and decent food. Only point of feedback would be that the fried eggs and sausages were overcooked on this occasion. Would definitely recommend.

Yo y mi señora me preocupo por haber venido aquí durante bastante tiempo, me temo que esto ahora ha cambiado, Pedí nuestro café y decidí tomar un sándwich con papas fritas, pedí un plato pequeño para que mi señora que no come mucho y tiene 86 años pueda participar en la comida, para mi consternación me dijeron, "él quiere darle uno " que el servidor se refería también no tengo idea, no desafié esto solo se fue después de pagar, hemos venido aquí por un tiempo y compartió un intestino de papas fritas con mi señora en el asiento de vista delantera, me pareció que esto era horrible y la forma en que me dijeron

Llamamos aquí para un poco de almuerzo después de un paseo por el lago. Encontramos una mesa afuera en la terraza ya que teníamos un perro con nosotros. Necesitaba el baño. Los baños eran insatisfactorios. Dos estaban bloqueados, papel por todas partes y los lavabos necesitaban un buen trapo. Entras a los baños a través de la cafetería, pero no puedes volver de esa manera y tienes que salir a caminar por todo el edificio para volver a entrar. Una señora en la mesa de al lado estaba angustiada ya que su hija pequeña tenía que ir y tenían un perro con ellos. Así que nos ofrecimos a sostener al perro mientras ella iba con su hija, que habría estado bien si hubiera podido volver por donde entró. La camarera era muy hosco tomando nuestro pedido todo lo que quería era un sándwich de queso que venía con un poco de ensalada y un poco de ensalada de col por £ 8. 50 mi hija tenía un pequeño sándwich de pescado y una mísera porción de patatas fritas por £ 14 ella tenía un zumo de manzana y yo un sprite factura total era £ 30. 70 No creo que fuera una relación calidad-precio incluso con una bonita vista al lago. No volveré, traeré un picnic la próxima vez. ¡Decepcionado!

Amazing food, one of my favourite local places to eat. Staff lovely, food great, atmosphere is always great. We will definitely be coming back! All the food was incredible.

Visited with my family for a meal last week and had a great experience, great service from Callum. Was a shame no hot drinks were available.

We had a good time at the George. we came back because the first time everything was fantastic but this time our electricity when out. We asked a member of staff to sort the electricity out which was forgotten about until we came back 5 hours later walking into our room still in the dark. When I came back down the manager apologised and gave us drinks on the house which was lovely of her while she fixed the situation in our room. We also put the door sign out saying clean our room Which never got done. All together it's an okay place to stay if staying in Selby

¡Harewood Arms está bajo nueva dirección pero se aplican las mismas reglas internas! Sin teléfonos , sin insultos , sin pararse en el bar etc. pero un cambio para mejor : ahora puede usar su tarjeta de crédito para pagar . La comida estaba bien, pero no la alta cocina. Un buen lugar para aquellos que les gusta un almuerzo tradicional de domingo , aunque solo pollo o cerdo y para verduras asadas de nueces disponibles . No sé qué pasó con la carne de vacuno y el agua con gas.

its always a long wait for food here but the food this time was not good. Scrambled egg, obviously microwaved so it resembled small pieces of yellow leather, the sour dough toast looked and tested as if it had been fried. Bacon bap, bacon had been microwaved and was as tough as could be, yet also managed to be almost cold. we both left half on our plates.

I popped in for a quick bite with my wife and grandson What a load of rubbish £19 for 3 bits of burnt bacon in small white bread warm tea and coffee a dry crumbling scone a small bottle of apple juice, never mind trying to look professional with table service and computers taking orders get the food right and you'll get customers... embarrassing never again spoilt our day.

I went here after a friend booked a VIP table for one of their Saturdays and it was amazing. Table service was fantastic, staff were so lovely, and the place was generally nice and clean. Would definitely come here for a night out again

Fabulous cafe, lovely ladies running it Gina and Thalia. Had a superb full English breakfast and coffee, after doing the waterfall trail, well cooked and good quality produce, coffee also great with plenty of flavour unlike some generic coffee chains. Also went above and beyond trying to find me when I left my hat behind. Cakes also looked superb, so that’ll need a repeat visit. Would definitely recommend

We arrived in Goole just after 2.30pm, we went in one establishment and my partner needed the loo, what a good job, I took a look around, we only wanted coffee and cake, but not a cake in sight, can't do a review of it as I didn't get its name, went further up the street and came across another selling itself as a coffee house, yet again inside the same greasy smell, what is wrong with Goole?. We went under the railway line and came across Fullers, looked nice from the outside so went in, we were greeted by "we close at 3", my reply "we have time for a coffee then". What on earth are Fullers playing at, in the fifteen minutes we were sat in the cafe, we had coffee and cake, a young guy had burger and a bun, a lady with a child bought a selection of cakes and a man bought some biscuits, so why on earth are they closing at 3 on a Saturday Afternoon. To make things worse for our visit, one of the young lasses mopped the floor round us, we took the hint, drunk up and left. To be fair the coffee was good and the cakes were fresh.

I regularly visit Mother Hubbard’s as the fish is done well, however the chips usually get thrown away as they are either cold and hard or undercooked. I have never left a bad review regarding the chips as it seems they have an issue with the chips so I haven’t bothered. Im leaving this review as I went in to order 2 kids fish bites and chips, mushy peas and 2 drinks on 02/06, but was charged 21.50 which I thought was a lot for 2 kids meals. The maths wasn’t math-ing so I questioned it and she showed me the bill, I had been charged more than the advertised/listed prices on the menu. She said at this point that the prices have changed and the menu on the large screen is old. No apology- terrible customer service. I explained to her that it’s very misleading and they should at the least explain to customers that these prices have all been updated. I also said that they could get in trouble with trading standards for misleading prices, which she didn’t seem concerned by. Leaving this review at the hope they update their menu and the staff member in question (Asian female) gets some training in customer service
