Called in for a meal each all cooked to perfection quick service clean and tidy staff but had to ask for the table to be cleaned only took the plates left the glasses would recommend

Ordered food and drink on the app and the food came first, like to have a quick drink before the food arrives. Mentioned to the waitress that we had no drinks, and she said, yes, the bars busy, they'll be here soon and walked off. The food was nice, but the 3 of our party ordered desserts and she pushed the dirty plates out of the way to put the desserts down!! Unbelievable. Fifteen mins later she took half the plates and left the rest. 3 times we asked her to move them, she kept saying she'd come back but didn't. So in the end we put them on the servery ourselves. Food good, but service definitely needs to improve

The best pub and restaurant, the food always good, polite and kind service. Delicious dishes during the week. Reasonable prices for drinks and food. I definitely recomend this place for families and friends.

I enjoyed a delicious meal here on Tuesday. Excellent service. The roof terrace is beautiful! I had gammon and chips and peas and it was cooked perfectly!

Whilst staying nearby we ate breakfast and a "snack - 3 for £14" type meal. Both were not up to the usual Wetherspoon standard. When we lived in Cleethorpes we never ate here because we tried several times and it was always dire. It has not improved. The bacon was over cooked yet somehow it was cold and dripping in fat. The pizza was totally uncooked and needed a good 5 minutes more under the lights. The drinks are really keenly priced at Wetherspoons which is why most people go in and we frequent lots of other Wetherspoons establishments, this one just does not seem to be able to get the food right for us.

A below average spot for your lunch. Popped in once and once only. Food was lukewarm at best and not particularly tasty. Usually can't go wrong with a curry in 'Spoons but this was insipid, tasteless and the brick of rice was almost inedible.

Breakfast was okay but service was very slow and all the staff seemed reluctant to bother with us. Bit of a shame as we used to love this place after a walk along the seafront.

Called in for breakfast and a coffee. Cannot fault the service or the food, considering the price, it was excellent. I had Eggs Benedict, and my wife had a breakfast wrap. Both cooked to petfection. Couldn't fault it especially with a follow up pint of Leffe.

This place is filthy, never get served,and food terrible, burgers like card board fish slimey ,chips overdone ,carpet up stairs got binding tape allover, should sack every one and put new staff in,as they all need retraining or fireing disgrace to wetherspoons

Absolutely awful. Ordered from the website and they took my payment out twice and duplicated the order. I’ve seen the staff sort this easily before and refund people. I was refused a refund and given 4 drinks and 2 bowls of food for only the 2 of us. Taken £40 off me instead £20 and refused to help though I’ve seen them do it before! I also ordered cheesy chips only for them to come out with nothing but brie rind all over my chips.

i had the haddock chips and mushy peas and my son had burger and chips and dessert . main courses were piping hot and delicious and excllent value for money as were the desserts would def recommend this place and i shall be returning

Use this place for a drink twice a week which it is nice but food well I had the beef madras horrible the beef is soft like jelly texture and chips dry and over cooked my partner had pudding chips and peas again chips over cooked pudding dry hard in placed and very little filling and peas looked like they had been splattered on the plate . eaten in here several times but never again food has gone down hill

As we were on holiday we were able to go on 'tax equality' day and it was lovely to get a price reduction on the wine - which is cheap enough anyway. We don't normally eat at Wetherspoons pubs as generally poor food but just this once thought we might - wish we hadn't now. My boneless chicken basket meal was nice but my husbands curry wasn't. He ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and a side of onion bharjis but when it came it was cold and the chicken so dry and hard he couldn't even cut into it so we complained. There was much discussion amongst the staff about the order -we'd changed it to a large curry (we hadn't and it didn't matter because the price is the same anyway) and confusion with receipts and that they'd refunded us correctly .They hadn't and I did query it but they said it was correct. It turns out we were refunded for the wrong (and cheaper) meal after all that. So much for a price reduction! Needless to say we won't order food again, but will carry on drinking!

Waited ages not a problem. When breakfast arrived cold bacon beans sausage mushrooms. I sent it back came back same but warm bread not toast. Friends with me had warm bread cold beans other friend never got hers had money back. Reason they gave was because they busy

Came with my sister on a busy Tuesday (launch of the new menu I believe) and the service was so quick! Ordering on the app really made things a breeze and all of the staff are so friendly and happy to help with whatever. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I was charged twice, the server told me contactless didn’t work, so I used my pin. Both payments were taken and no refund given. The manager was a patter merchant who told me the refund would come. Three weeks later and they are not responding to emails. The meal was rubbish. I could feel the powder in the mash. Don’t use contactless, you risk being scammed.

Nice lunch, ham egg and chips and vegetarian sausage and mash for my partner. Very tasty and cooked well. The meals came with a drink which helps make the prices competitive. I also had the American style pancakes which were delicious. All the staff are friendly and efficient too.

I actually thought Benjamin Huntsman was the worst Wetherspoon's for rude staff but this pub has surpassed it. We're in here at moment, waited to be served but girl behind bar had to finish her conversation and listen to another 2 members of staff before she served us. No please or thank you. No eye contact. It was as if we were just a nuisance for actually wanting to be served. They need to see how well mannered and polite the staff in Bluecoat in Rotherham are. They are brilliant.

I had the small fish, chips and mushy peas. It arrived quickly, but I had to send it straight back as the battered fish was tiny, but there was no time to take a photo. The fish was literally not much bigger than a fish finger, with the ends curled under, so no fish in them. The server pointed out that it was listed as "small fish" which is a part of a fillet. I understand this, but this fish wasn't small, it was tiny. The server was polite and took the meal to the manager for his opinion. The meal was replaced with a slightly larger portion of fish, but still very small, but this meant that everyone else had finished their meals by the time I got my replacement. This meal was not good value and I would never have it again. The chips and mushy peas were very nice but I would have been better off just ordering a portion of chips.

Often use weatherspoons as a social place to eat with both family and friends, i personally use the one in grimsby. However came to the cleethorpes one as a little change. Staff was rude when we asked to customise our order, fast service however food was appalling.. will not use again.

Worst weatherspoons I've ever been in and that's not saying much. Service was none existent wether ordering at the bar or on the app. When the next round of spoons shut this should definitely be top of the list.

August well into Covid mandatory requirements- whilst a bunch of youngsters pulled a seat from another table and were informed that this wasn't allowed-correct. To the tables after previous occupancy not cleaned nor wiped down- indeed the table turnover was very slow- surely if the team wiped/cleaned and took away plates glasses etc then the turnover increased somewhat!So cleaning should be better and please comply with the full pandemic precautions in case there is the chance of a breakout.We took advantage of the chancellors price reductions a pint of Ruddles and a diet coke for £2.30 or similar unreal! Most shocking staff ever ask to change something on a breakfast as I’ve got allergic and il pay the extra and got told by a snoopy staff at end of bar nope that won’t happen as kitchen staff won’t change anything at all, the staff are slagging locals off who are eating aswel, worse Wetherspoons in the country. Took 45 minutes for drinks ordered on the app to be delivered... Staff didnt seem to be in any rush at all. Whole pub was very dirty, pots all over the place and unclean tables. No track and tracing or hygiene. Fortunately we found seats outside.

Last night me and my friends visited the coliseum wetherspoons in cleethorpes for some drinks. We didn't book a table so had to wait 5 minutes at the entrance with the door staff for a table to come available. Once a table was free one of the door staff led us through, asked us to sanitise our hands and then sit at the table. We all followed his words and went to the table. The group included 5 of us, 2 of which that where sober and hadn't even been drinking yet due to work. Myself , one of the sober gentlemen and another of my friends sat at the table and ordered our drinks each on the wetherspoons app. One of the other sober friends went to the bar to order his drink along with our last remaining friend. This is where the problem started. One of the bar staff said that our friend had too much to drink and that he wouldn't get served, we explained that we had just walked in so she must have him confused with someone else. The girl said no I can see in his face and how he is talking that he has had too much to drink, I will add at this point that my friend in question suffers with autism and is very social awkward. I explained this in detail and she said no I'm not serving him, yourself or anyone in your group.I was very disappointed with how she reacted and that none or the bar staff refused to speak to me any more. I asked for the manager and they went to get him. His name was Ash and he was a very understanding man, I went through the above story with him and he apologised on behalf of his staff and said that things where clearly misunderstood and that he could see that we where all in a completely reasonable condition. I was pleased at this point with Ash however he then said unfortunately if the bar staff don't want to serve you then they don't have to and asked for us to leave.After he agreed that we where wrongly accused and judged due to my friends disability he still refused to alow us our drink we paid for and ordered on the app. They printed of a receipt as a refund and said the money will go back to my account between 3 and 5 working days. I'm flabbergasted by the ignorance and vile attitude of the staff that where working that night and the arrogance to not admit they where wrong. Ben my friend was singled out due to his autism and was humiliated in the middle of the pub. Other tables of customers where all looking and laughing at the situation and he was very upset by it, as was I.DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR

Went for a meal today with my partner, couldn't fault the waiter Daniel works endlessly and doesn't stop always polite and smiling!!! Deffantly will come back all thanks to him making sure everything was okay and we had everything we needed, requested a table cleaned and with smiles and politeness he did without hesitation aswell as keeping on top of the rest of floor he also dealt with a complaint over food (wasn't a major complaint just wanted the pizza a little bit more crispy) and again without hesitation and full of smiles he did this for us, communication was clear that kitchen was busy and would take about 5/10 mins, I was happy with that as he explained what was happening and again full of smiles:D BIG UP FOR DANIEL YOUVE DONE AMAZING :D

Ordered at the bar gave table number took pint back to table drank half of my drink went to toilet came back my drink had gone told bar staff basically was told should not of left it unattended and walked off when the food came it was cold and I would not have fed it to my dog I left the pub very disappointed in the toilet there was no sanitiser the meal was left I will never visit this establishment again unless they review there attitude and cleanliness and service

Visited many times but today was very disappointed. On arrival hand sanitizer was broken had to go back outside to find the one that worked. Tables were free but ohad previous occupants glasses cups etc not cleared so obviously not cleaned in any way. We had our drinks and meal and still previous occupants crockery not cleared. In general not clean stairs and toilets had layers of dust so no deep clean been done. Come on Wetherspoons get your act together we wont return as things are shame. Also no track and trace at all.

This weatherspoons has gone downhill so badly in the years we have visited it, this will be our last visit. How the hell you get burger and chips so wrong is beyond me, it might as well been a hockey puck. Asked for some one to clean the table down and you would of though I was asking her to clean the seafront the way she reacted. Will you move then she barked. Really poor food and a burnt brownie?? How the hell do they manage that. I called last year on a day trip and it was similar. Only has something really basic again and it’s was of poor quality. With Covid 19 measures in place you would of thought it would of been cleaned down top to bottom..... no chance, it’s grubby and dirty and smells towards the bottom of the stairs. Toilets really, really poor. No toilet paper, stinks inside, barley any soap at the sinks. What I didn’t understand is, why have staff bring over the drinks and food and not wear any ppe? Why allow random drunks just at the bar area? Why was there no sheet to sign to leave details of track and trace? And why is no one checking the food that comes out of the kitchen? I didn’t complain, I didn’t see the point at all, I’m just not going to go back, and aside from a drink sat outside on a sunny day I wouldn’t recommend anyone else going either. Such a shame as it was great when it first opened.

Yesterday my friend and I wanted a cheap and cheerful lunch and decided Weatherspoons in Cleethorpes would be ideal, We sat on the ground floor at the bottom of the stairs on a two seat table and was looking over the menus as we were having our coffee.My friend pointed out all the dust in between the spindles of the staircase. This was not an overnight dust but a good 1/4 inch in the corners! We then started to look around and noticed how dirty the shelves at the back of the seating booths were, food , dust, bits of paper, what a mess. We noticed that after a family left, the toddler had dropped food all over the floor and when the member of staff came to put the high chair back she just looked at the mess but didn't attempt to clean it up, and it was still there 10 mins later when we left. We decided this was not a good place to eat with all this dirt around us. What a shame! I remember when this place first opened, it was lovely and we used to all come from work for breakfast before we started our shift. It is so so dirty now and very off putting!

My family and I had a great meal at The Coliseum. All of the food was perfect, service was quick and friendly as always! You can definitely feel the difference after a change in management in both the kitchen and bar!

The food is really hit and miss but more off a miss.Dont really order food from this place you might regret it. Their is no chefs in their cook house.Its a bunch off college students that throw anything together and that’s it. Saturday at 3pm and it was packed. We got a table upstairs and food came quick and not bad at all. Mixed grill was very good. Toilets were clean considering. Took a long time to get served probably as I could see only three people behind the bar.

Tuesday is steak day,a really tasty steak cooked to perfection medium rare. Great price and service pluss beer and wine included in the price.All weatherspoons pubs are excellent value.

i have noticed over the last year ,they have less staff, so tables do not get cleaned, and food is often cold ,so one thinks is it going to be all right, i do not order steak now as it often comes cold or very chewy ,it gone down hill no one smiles the staff look over worked its only the coffee that always seem ok

Stopped for coffee, more to look at the building and to get out of the rain. Whilst I am grateful to Weatherspoons for preserving many interesting buildings, I wish they wouldn’t go for the same thick wood and hotel carpets in all of them, it really didn’t suit the unique nature of the building. Coffee as expected and good value for push button coffee. Also smokers were way to near to the door not pleasant if you sat just inside. Didn’t eat due to long wait and expensive parking in Cleethorpes.

Two years ago I was put off going in as the outside looked a bit scruffy and folk smoking near the doorway (sign of the times I guess)and wanted to sit out in the sunshine, but this time thought I'd go in & so glad I did. What a lovely place with high ceilings, murals, old cinema posters, statues and a grand staircase and even better up another level to the roof terrace. For people who want to sit in the sunshine this is great - perhaps would be good to advertise that there is a roof terrace? Like almost all Wetherspoons the bar service is slow, but the tables did seem to be cleared OK. but not too clean so didn't stay for food. But the décor and wine was lovely.

Im not sure what the service time target is in a Wertherspoons, but i'm sure that 15 minutes wouldn't be acceptable.Not blaming the staff, who were good humoured and polite and did their best. Problem seemed to be people ordering via the app for table delivery, leaving the bar staff over worked.A good bar, clean and friendly atmosphere, great menu and value for money.Interesting bar, with local historic pictures etcWorth a visit

The coffee is always hot and really nice and the food is very nice good service from the friendly staff

A few of months ago we tried to have a meal here but because there a run going on in Cleethorpes so instead we went to The Yarborough Hotel Wetherspoons next to Grimsby railway station. Although the food was good the place was dirty with food on the floor and coffee beans all over the place at the unlimited coffee machines. So a few months pass and I find out that Wetherspoons are doing a special day with 7.5% off all food and drink. We ordered everything on the Wetherspoons app which was easy and it was nice to have are food delivered to the table. Like The Yarborough Hotel the food was good but this was very clean unlike that restaurant. There is easy cheap parking next to the restaurant. While we were there we also found out there is a beer garden on the roof which we did not visit but we thought it could be good in the summer. Don't go to The Yarborough Hotel go here.

i dont think it would come as a surprise to anybody when i say you take a chance when you dine at wetherspoons. ive had some good meals and some poor and plenty in between. today was on the poor end of the scale. firstly it was a Saturday morning. we where sold the eggs royal only to be informed they had run out of salmon. this being early on a Saturday morning with a busy weekend ahead. surley they would know roughly how many of each meal they sell on a Friday and Saturday and cater accordingly. smoked salmon lasts over a week so why is there not any in house? its ridiculously bad planning. so my wife had eggs Benedict which arrived cold. probably somebody else's order that was sat on the past. also i was not offered a reduction on the price differential of each meal. i had to ask. i had the full english. pretty easy to cook i would have thought. no. not for wetherspoons. how does any chef think its acceptable to send out dried up split fried eggs? i dont care if its the ivy in london or wetherspoons cleethorpes a meal should be presented to a high standard not dried up egg and bacon thrown onto a plate. all i can put it down to is they have so much business there is no care taken over what they are doing. so disappointing

Had a drink here with friends and family. Drinks are cheap but the bar service was very slow. Then we wanted a seat but all tables were either taken or still full of dirty cups and plates. We went on the roof terrace and same again, tables full of dirty cups and no staff cleaning up. Ok place for a cheap pint but don't stay long.

Visited this establishment for a pint of real ale with a friend both pints where cloudy . Beer should of appeared bright and clear when held up to the light . When i asked them how long it had been left to settle in the cellar a young bar made told me it had been left for the legal amount of time before serving and that the beer always looks like that . Obviously they dont care about the quality of the product they sell and that the staff would benefit from a course in how to look after beer and serve customers in a proper manner.

Will not eat here again. Food always cold. Place filthy. Tables never wiped staff miserable. And lucky if you get served do not bother on a Sat or Sun no chance.and disabled toilet used by everyone.

Good choice of breakfast menu until 12pm. Anything you could want. Then all day brunch. Handy if you miss hotel breakfast.very popular place. Then back again for evening meal. Again good choice on menu. Quick service and prices. Deals if you include a drink.

Having done a search for the top 10 dog friendly restaurant's in the cleethorpe's area, this place came in third, so we walked a fair way only to be greeted at the door with a sign saying "No dogs allowed"!

First off ordered food via Wetherspoons app waited 45 mins to be told there is a long wait on app orders. Daughter wanted hot dog didn’t have any hot dogs left (bearing in mind we’d waited nearly an hour at this point) food finally arrived after a long wait everyone’s food were stone cold and not edible.. fried eggs were like plastic couldn’t even cut through them with a knife Sent my meal back for them to come back 15 mins later to be the told they didn’t have any gammon left, and I could have anything on the menu which tbh is difficult as I have to eat gluten free and the menu doesn’t have a wide range. After all this waiting I asked for a refund, the only thing I can’t fault is the manager he was absolutely Amazing dealing with the situation so thankyou!

Called in for the Thursday curry special could not find the menu so asked at the kitchen area for one to be told they have had no time to put them out and did not attempt to get me one sat there 20 minutes and we went elsewhere to eat rubish customer service

Went in to have a couple of drinks and some food with my friends for a catch up as I had not seen them in a while. We were joking about in the toilets to only have a member of staff come in and accuse us of doing drugs and being told we would be kicked out if all three of us come to the toilet again. I don’t know if this is just me but I know many girls go to the toilets in groups. I found this absolutely disgusting that they would throw this accusation around and threaten to throw us out. We obviously left the restaurant immediately as we felt humiliated. I not being funny but who would do coke in weather spoons toilets on a Wednesday night. I felt absolutely embarrassed by this accusation. I understand if the staff had had someone say something that they have to follow through but it was obvious this was a mean act carried out by another member of the public and that we hadn’t been near anything. I feel like the staff could have handled the situation better with out making us feel so humiliated!

We came for an afternoon out on impulse, and had a healthy walk on the seafront and ride on the miniature railway. A fish n chip tea seemed in order, and we weren't disappointed at the Coliseum. A really great ambience in the old picture house; good pint of local ale, hot food served within a reasonable time, and friendly service (special shout-out to Georgia at the bar)!

Visited many Wetherspoons before and always found them good value with good food, however very disappointed with our meals, lasagnes ordered were luke warm with limp salads in bowls. Also one of the family wanted a pizza but we were told there wasn't any pizzas available. Fresh lasagnes were provided but these were served after everyone else had finished. Asked to speak to the manager who did apologise but we got the impression he wasn't that interested. We certainly won't be making a return visit.

Went on a catch up evening with my friend Tuesday evening. Well 6.15 teatime steak night is Tues ordered bottle of wine then told no steak!! So disappointed as I was got the wine.. we decided to order pizza instead so sharon went to order.. NO PIZZA well if I hadn't got the wine I would of left.. burger then even though I didn't want that.. well this was a joke she came to table and said I've ordered it but they have no cheese on .. I definitely wont be eating here again .. order more food ..

This was my first and last visit to this place. I went here to have lunch with the family whilst we were on holiday in Lincoln and went to Cleethorpes for the day. We decided to go up to the second floor on climbing the stairs a member of staff was running down holding the handrail he would not move and made the people I was with move over. 2 of them are in their 80’s one has had 2 knee replacements and struggles to walk. On going past them he said BLOODY TOURISTS. I was amazed and stunned by this comment as most of the trade here must be from tourists. I work in this trade and can not believe the comment. The food was ok service was a bit slow seemed to be short staffed. The roof terrace was nice as it was a nice day.

I don’t usually write reviews apart from when the service is extremely good or extremely bad, unfortunately this Wetherspoons is the latter!!

I reviewed in 2017 following my last time here but feel obliged to do so again after my recent trip. Last time I was here the rooftop terrace was closed due to the local football derby but it was open on this visit so I was keen to take a look. And what an impressive space ! Lovely place, very well decorated and interesting old railway posters on the walls. Was quiet on my visit so was a lovely oasis of calm - can imagine would get very busy at other times. A bit of a trek to get there up 2 flights of stairs but that's simply due to the building structure. The management / design team could have just left the place over 2 floors so all credit to them for an excellent addition which sets this place apart from other Wetherspoons.

Ordered via the app. Waited half an hour. Food came, it was cold. No drinks. Had to ask for drinks after we had finished breakfast. Drinks turned up, or rather mugs turned up for us to help ourselves. Ridiculous.

Just got back after my latest visit to my local ‘spoons’. This place is a blot on the Wetherspoons brand. Whenever I go away, I always look for a Wetherspoons as I know it will have good beer, decent food and good service. Cleethorpes venue is by far the worst I have experienced. The bar service is appalling and I know many locals feel the same. Surely part of the bartenders job is to have a rough idea of who has been waiting the longest and not just to say ‘who’s next’? The app has been a godsend because of this. Parents drinking heavily whilst their kids sit there (what happened to the ‘must be eating’ policy?) Disabled toilets abused by able-bodied people who can’t be bothered to walk up a few stairs whilst disabled people have to wait(although this is a design flaw as the place is so poorly planned out) The pub in Grimsby (3 miles away) is everything the cleethorpes one should should be. The coliseum picture house should be a gold mine but it needs much improvement from the management to make it so.

Just been for breakfast. Took 30 minutes to arrive when Wetherspoons pride themselves on a window of food inside 10 minutes. Sausages harder than the building itself, beans colder than Hitler’s soul and egg’s could run as much as Johnny Vegas. Won’t be coming again apart from Saturday night for a 2.89 pint of Patriot.

Called in for a late breakfast on the roof terrace which was very good. I had the smashed avocado on a muffin with maple cured bacon and a poached egg. Served also with diced onion amd tomato. It was delicious. Efficient and friendly service at ar and table service but......

We visited the Coliseum picture house in Cleethorpes for Father’s Day in 2019 as a party of 12. The majority of the party ordered and paid for the food and drinks at the bar and 2 people decided to use the on line app that was being advertised in the restaurant (bid mistake!).

I'm really disappointed with this wetherspoons, me and a few friends when on Tuesday I ordered a steak medium they gave me it basically raw when we sent it back they came out with another steak and yet again it was basically still moving, I asked the waitress if I could order something else I ordered a burger. Me and my friends were sat next to the kitchen so I'm sure they said this so we could hear it, a member of the kitchen staff said to the waitress in a mardy tone "are those girls happy yet?" I'm sorry you can't do your job. I will not be returning to this restaurant since the kitchen staff are horrible and quite frankly childish do your job it's not hard.

Visited sunday morning for breakfast just ordered the two full english without tomatos price £5.05 coffee extra but unlimited refills .

Made a few visits during our time in the area. What is so peculiar is how Wetherspoons menus vary place to place as do the prices! On the 3 for £10 in one place is £12 just up the coast, soup included in one place but not the other!

Food promptly served and excellent service as in all weatherspoons, overall wonderful visit, pleased and will be visiting again

On a scale of of 10 I would rate this 'Spoons around 2 or 3. I was here for four nights and on all of the nights my requested cask beer was not available and on one night, when I just fancied a pizza there were no pizzas available. I am generally a fan of 'Spoons and have been to many as I walk the coast of England and Wales. But here the range of cask beers was very limited................even if available which most were not. Food and staff (barely welcoming) OK but no better. Would benefit from a makeover and the management getting more of a grip

We came to visit this pub today for a family meal, there was 8 in our party, 5 adults, 2 children and a baby. We ordered 5 meals, when these were being delivered the female member of staff bringing these to our tables, honestly had the most appalling attitude I’ve encountered in a long time!!! Upon bringing out 2 of these meals, she proceeded to just leave these at the end of the table instead of even asking where they needed to go. Then on her way to get more of the meals, instead of taking any of the many empty glasses that had been left on this table she left them and I had to clear the table myself !! When bringing the next 2 meals a member of our party informed this staff member that she could at least ask where the meals need to go instead of just piling them on the end, the staff member then proceeded to raise her voice at us and give attitude saying we ignored her when asking where the plates needed to go and that they were too hot !! We said we most certainly did not ignore her, I myself said to her where meals needed to go but she just put them down and walked off, and also said she could use a towel or napkins if the plates were as she said “too hot”. She then stormed off muttering to herself, loud enough for all to hear. Putting the plates where they belong I realised they were not very hot at all, a 14 year old member of our party managed to hold this plate, having done this role myself I am aware the plates can be hot but as also aware there are things available to use to prevent touching the plates, also if the plates were as hot as she decided to shout at us when informed of her poor service, then she should have informed us when she first placed the plates down to avoid injury to the young members of our party !!! The final meal was brought out by a male member of staff and upon looking up this female already had her coat on at the bar with a pint in her hand !! Clearly her disgusting attitude and appalling service was because she was more bothered about finishing her shift and getting alcohol in her hand !!! The male who brought the final meal out was rushing about clearing tables taking out food and serving on the bar, he is a credit to you, however the female, who was older than this gentleman and had a blonde bob hairstyle, needs lessons in her job role and also in basic human manners !!! Most certainly will not be returning if the staff are more concerned with having a pint than actually serving their paying customers !!!

Sat outside with all the chain smokers our extremely lab was asleep under a table when a member of staff came to us and informed us no dogs aloud on the premises yet we were outside there are no signs saying no dogs aloud the member of staff said because we had already purchased a drink we would not be served anymore and had to leave but yet surrounded by smokers we will certainly never return even without our dog total discrimination to customers who wanted a drink that was out with their dog PUT SOME SIGNS UP THEN NO DOGS ALLOWED and save embassarsment to someone who does not live here
