I took my friend she had never been before as the day was so nice it was a good drive. We had a great time.

Had a nice rump steak ordered med-rare could have gotten away with rare. It was well presented and full of flavour. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely visit again

Chef on holiday when we went. Limited selection of beers. Felt like a ‘locals’ pub and didn’t have a very welcoming feel

To be fair we called in a Saturday lunchtime for a beer. It was very quiet so I don't think I can really comment on the atmosphere. We didn't eat. However, the service was first class. Two lovely ladies behind the bar and I assume the landlord. Very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were spot on. Few more customers came in and straight away started chatting to us. I will definitely go again so hopefully I can give a better review. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the worst sunday lunches ever cold meat and veg burnt Yorkshire pudding sent it back to get warmed up came back couple minutes later still with the burnt Yorkshire pudding which was now like a rock not big or even medium portions found it expensive as were the drinks staff need to be trained in hygiene as every waiter and waitress were stroking customers dogs no apologies from waiting staff or management

Been here a number times for a pint and it has never dissappointed us. Reasonably priced with a quality pint and service. Highly recommend

Great garden centre plus the playground is brilliant and well organised. It's always kept clean in between visits and hosts good events for the kids during holidays

Enjoyed a lovely gin cocktail sitting on the terrace in the glorious sunshine overlooking the river. Really popular with very attentive staff

Standard Wetherspoons pub. Fairly clean, usual food and drink options, free WiFi. Wheelchair/disability friendly in terms of access, entrance is right next to the disabled parking at the Xscape.
