Nice big 'Spoonz' with friendly staff and quick service.... much welcomed before or after a shopping trip at Junction 32...loads of nearby car parking a bonus!...I go more often now!

Is what it is. Food delivered quickly was hot and ok what you would come to expect from Weatherspoons. Had Katie curry and a wrap both were ok.

We've come here on a few occasions for either breakfast or brunch and found the pub to be very welcoming, clean, with a good menu and helpful staff. Good value and a pleasant atmosphere

The sift managers attitude stank i asked for a pint of stellar and a pink gin and tonic when i questioned the fact that she was putting lemonade in my gin and not tonic the answer I got that's what you asked for I questioned it and she got quite abrupt and said you asked for lemonade and walked away as I paid before she served me.... won't be back in the near future!!!!

Popped in for a refreshment, to use the toilet facilities, and a sit for a minute. Nice layout, perfect selfie toilets ( female toilets) Not much to say as we didn't stay too long. Typical Spoons toilets, miles away upstairs. Children's colouring sheets and crayons available. Not too busy, we were able to get a good seat. Some interesting artwork on the walls and old pictures which I like to look at

Service in this place is terrible. Staff serve the person stood next to the person they just served rather than actually looking to see who was next.

Came here for breakfast and it was sub-par even for a spoons. The porridge was like plaster and has as much taste as it too... The pints have a weird metal taste too it.

Miserable staff food was dry and luke warm asked for zero sugar Pepsi as I'm diabetic and looked at and treated like I was a problem and told sarcastically all drinks have sugar in how rude

Food is awful, burnt most of the time, potions are absolutely tiny, and over all tasteless. Atmosphere is pretty much none exiting. Staff try they're best and are welcoming and friendly.

We Called into The Winter Seam after a shopping trip to junction 32 today 15/08/24 First off the food was really nice everything was nice and hot . The staff were very friendly, I actually ordered through the app on arrival which is great no up and down to the bar to order , it was a very quick service . Drinks arrived within a minute, food arrived within 15 minutes. So overall a great experience . There’s just one thing that made me cringe was the state of the seats at the tables they were absolutely filthy ,some seats were in need of serious repair , I think it’s about time we either had them cleaned or replaced .

Love a spoons but now it's summer you want to sit outside but can't because of all the vapours vaping in the none vaping section and no one does a thing about it horrible outside when trying to eat and a big cloud smothers you

It's a normal wetherspoons you will find a parking spot for here no problem

He went straight to the kitchen and sorted it immediately, without any fuss. I did mention it to the manager before we left, expressing our sincere thanks, but definitely worthy of recognition in a review. Rest of staff we spoke with were also friendly and helpful. Toilets were spotless too, which is something I always take note of.

More like restaurant, than a pub. Not one of the better Witherspoons

Busy place, but ordered food and it came quickly and it was hot.

A few too many screaming kids for my liking!! I suppose only to be expected in the school holidays! Another spoons ticked off my list!

It was really busy, a good atmosphere, and one of the cleanest wetherspoons we have been in, the tables were cleared and cleaned frequently. Staff were efficient There is disabled access There are plenty of parking spaces

Nice and handy for a quick gargle before and after the races at Ponte. Too many uncontrolled squawking kids in here, and why do staff throw empty bottles into those skips instead of just placing them in!!!!

Food was cold. Steak was full of gristle. However the bar person was friendly, helpful and chatty.

Great place food was good just as expected. Service was just great as well. The online app makes it a breeze to order and pay online.would definitely recommend and will be heading over again especially when the weather is nice as tge outside seating area is great

XScape in Castleford was in our sights, we needed shopping. Our daughter needed trainers; She’s seventeen, it’s what they do. We started early and popped into The Winter Seam for breakfast, feeding ourselves up for the endless trudge around the shops. The two hours of looking at absolutely everything in each shop before buying the first thing we’d seen. I use the word ‘we’ quite wrongly. I would be observing, from a distance. Again. And so, the Seam served up two traditional breakfasts and a portion of pancakes for the three of us. Wetherspoons has been serving the same breakfast menu since the dawn of time, so we knew what to expect. Bacon, sausage, egg, toast, hash browns, beans, and a sachet of HP sauce. You can’t have a cooked breakfast with any other sauce and don’t let anybody tell you any different. The food was hot, always a good start. The eggs were a tad overdone, but edible. The bacon was hot but had been cooked for the bare minimum of time, pink and fatty. A hot sausage and hash browns running a temperature hotter than a dying star complimented the baked beans perfectly. One hash brown even surfed on the skin of the bean juice, sliding gracefully cross the plate. We left fed and reasonably happy with the offering. The coffee gave me the caffeine boost I needed I desperately needed before the arduous trek around the shops that was to come…

Went for breakfast....food was ok, but nothing special, not much of an atmosphere and forget the Tea as its terrible, stick to coffee. Not the biggest of portions and not the freshest...probably frozen products (unknown). Would we go again? Nope not for breakfast!

The place was clean and tidy, food options were plentiful and the food was excellent for the price. It was exactly what I expected from a Wetherspoons, to their high standards and I was not disappointed. The food was good, the service was fast, and the place was clean. I could have asked for nothing more. Overall, we had a great experience at Wetherspoons. Will definitely return when I'm next in the area.

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. Service fast and with a smile. The only thing that let it down was the number of uncleared tables.

I attend the winterseam quite often and think it’s a nice place to go to socialise with friends. Food is lovely and always fast service and staff are always nice and helpful.

Visited here a few days ago. Was unsure on what drink to get since I don't drink alcohol. Katie went through the drinks with me that she thought that I would enjoy and I settled on a lime and soda. She even went the extra mile and made it how I like it.

It's a wetherspoons. All pretty generic but the toilets are impressively big and clean.

I spend quite fair bit of time in here, (more than I'd like to admit to), as food and drink are always top notch. Never had a bad meal or bad pint. Last time I was here, one of the bar staff, Tiegan went above and beyond to make sure my visit was as good as it could be. Can't complain at all.

We love this place, witherspoon is the reason, and yes, the refills do it for us, but we have been several times over a few years, and we have honestly had no complaints I'll have photos next trip but definitely a must when visiting junction 32.x

The food was really nice but the service was really slow and messing me about when I went there for my second time very disappointed I really hope they can do better as I am autistic and deaf 😢😭the food and the dessert was beautiful but when I first ordered it they messed up my American style cheeseburger which I asked for it plain and nobody was listening and had a really bad meltdown that day I’ve never had this problem before but next time I’m ordering something else

Popped in here thinking it would of been rammed due to Mother’s Day on our way to York! However we got served straight away, the food came out hot and quick! The staff who we spoke to all seemed lovely! Probably one of the cleanest weathers I’ve been to. Staff was constantly cleaning and clearing tables

Tiegan was very helpful as I just missed breakfast and suggest I got the brunch option which was a great idea made it even better with the chips, the drink suggested was also on point as I enjoyed a pint of corona which was lovely

Went again with friends for catch up. Drinks and food. Had the fish and chips and think they were the best ever. Nice that I can have a little bit if salad with it as I don't like peas. (Some wetherspoons wont do this) Absolutely red hot and tasty. All the other 3 meals were good too. Friendly staff. Will be back.

Lovely large breakfast, not busy at all but still got told to get our own sauce by the manager. Tea tastes like cardboard, but we are used to Yorkshire tea, maybe think about changing.
