The best restaurants serving British food in Stannington Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

I've only ever eaten at this place twice but on both occasions the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the portion size was plentiful, can't fault the place I'd highly recommend it to anyone who reads this comment.

Got to be the most miserable 🙃 that's ever worked behind a bar,ordered 4 bowls of chips that were utterly carbage,we've probably spent over 150 quid in beer pathetic this chap has got to be moved on spend at lot of time in king a miller,Katie is tremendous, this guy is awful

Super farm shop. Delicious local meat and fresh veg. The shop has so many exciting products it's impossible to go there without buying something delicious and a tea towel or a locally sourced spirit. The cafe is great. Basic tables and chairs, but the food is fabulous. Home baking, fabulous bacon sandwiches and soups. Go there for brunch. It's a must

Excellent all round highly recommended

This is a lovely cafe in a lovely setting. We decided to stop off here whilst out walking with our dog. We hadn't had any breakfast so we thought we'd give it a try. They were £8.50 so I was expecting very good quality or a decent quantity. Unfortunately when our breakfasts arrived they were very average and not very large either. They each consisted of two small sausages, two small rashers of bacon, a pot of beans, a pot of tomatoes and a mushroom. I've been to many other cafes which are a lot lower in price and 100 times better in quality. Our coffee and hot chocolates were nice though and worth the money. Overall we paid £25 for two breakfasts and two drinks which I think is absolutely extortionate for a cafe.

Really friendly service and a superb monthly quiz with an excellent quiz master! Nice warm and cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating, nooks and open fires. Perfect for a cold winters evening. Choice of beer was quite limited and would have been nice to see more local beers - especially for a rural inn like this surrounded by independent breweries. Food was very tasty, but portions were a little small for the price.

The vegetarian selection on the buffet was great, really nice variety, not the same old boring stuff on offer in other pubs.

Fuimos a la cena de Navidad con la familia, fue increíble, me encantó todos los toques especiales que habían añadido para Navidad, la comida era encantadora y caliente, todo fresco no congelado (que habíamos tenido en años anteriores por el último propietario) era un pub lleno, pero nunca nos quedamos sin una bebida en la mano, una gran palmadita en la espalda a la señora del terreno y su personal, sin duda recomendaría para el próximo año

La comida y el servicio eran de primera clase. Recomendamos encarecidamente este establecimiento. El personal es muy amable y servicial.
