Called in on a Monday recently looking for lunch. My wife and I had visited a couple of months ago and ate in the garden. The food was lovely and the beer good. On this occasion we had to eat in the pub because of the weather but we were pleased to find very friendly staff and a clean and tidy pub with nice decor. The place was empty and we feared the worse,. However, we found the real ales excellent and the food, once again , very nice. The food and drink was inexpensive and there was concessions for OAPs. The people running the pub couldn't do enough for you and although we were on our own we had a great experience. Considering how some nearby pubs are so popular I can only think that people haven't yet discovered this place which is a few yards off main rod up Rivelin and very near all beauty spots.

Good tasty home cooked food, great selection of beverage with their own brewery with good selection of local and their own brand on hand pull. It's order at the bar service, however staff are knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. Service is quick when quiet but a little slower at busier times. The pub is warm and comfortable, dog friendly and has plenty of tables. It also has a basement bar that can be booked out and outdoor seating with beautiful countryside views.

Mi hija contrató el café para una fiesta íntima de té por la tarde / noche para celebrar su 30 cumpleaños. La cafetería estaba decorada con buen gusto y la comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Los sándwiches en bollos de brioche eran particularmente buenos. Carrie y el equipo fueron atentos, muy amables e hicieron toda la experiencia sin problemas. Es genial poder crear tu propia área de bar también. No puedo esperar para la celebración de la corona de Navidad en unas pocas semanas. ? Lo recomiendo para cualquier celebración o evento.

Se reunió con dos amigos para el té de la tarde con nuestros bebés. ¡Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso con un servicio amable y suficiente comida para alimentar a un ejército! Brillante valor y excelente comida! Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita a esta encantadora cafetería familiar. Volveremos pronto!

Absolutely amazing customer service and the food just matches it absolutely beautiful curry definitely recommend the garlic chicken curry with cheesy naan and there pillow rice it’s full of flavour and u can tell the food is fresh just by the first bite and well marinated
