Called in on a Monday recently looking for lunch. My wife and I had visited a couple of months ago and ate in the garden. The food was lovely and the beer good. On this occasion we had to eat in the pub because of the weather but we were pleased to find very friendly staff and a clean and tidy pub with nice decor. The place was empty and we feared the worse,. However, we found the real ales excellent and the food, once again , very nice. The food and drink was inexpensive and there was concessions for OAPs. The people running the pub couldn't do enough for you and although we were on our own we had a great experience. Considering how some nearby pubs are so popular I can only think that people haven't yet discovered this place which is a few yards off main rod up Rivelin and very near all beauty spots.

Best sandwich and coffee I've ever had, had large bacon and egg and coffee and it was absolutely lovely! Only wished I lived in Sheffield so I could eat there everyday.

41 Boston Street The Tree House Board Game Cafe, Sheffield S2 4QF EnglandWe attended a beginners Dungeon and Dragons one shot experience. The game was excellently run with a good mix of role play and combat allowing for new players to learn. The general atmosphere of the cafe was welcoming and relaxing I would definitely recommend booking an evening. (Sorry Cliff)

Middlewood RoadThe only real crafty place in Hillsborough whilst others pretend to be. Great beers, enough on tap and a huge selection of bottles and cans. Nice relaxed atmosphere, enthusiastic staff who love beer. My new closest craft ale venue. 👏
