It was a beautiful pub but no longer with us

We only popped in, we weren't overnight guests, but this is a lovely little pub that really is the heart of the local community in this rural area. There are lots of walks around, and beautiful views across the nearby reservoirs. Still close enough for a drive into Sheffield centre, Meadowhall or further into the Peak District if you want. The wasailing (Carol singing) is very traditional and of a high standard too. It's lovely to hear, and some of the carols are very old and individual to the area... interesting!

Had a fab one night stay here. Friendly landlords with a warm welcome, spotlessly clean room and lovely countryside surrounds down towards the lake. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

This lil quaint establishment was fantastic. My partner had the eggs Benedict and I had the Italian breakfast. They were delicious and service was swift. Staff were helpful and nothing was too much for us.

Went here today with my friend. Ordered 2 parathas, 1 small plate of channa, 1 very small plate of halwa, water and 2 cups of tea. The parathas were very hard and extremely difficult to chew. The tea was Luke warm, not hot enough for my liking. As for the potion size. What can I say. They were very small and had to be shared between the two of us. We got charged £20 for this meal. Which I think was extortionately high, given the potion sizes.
