What a fantastic pub. Stopped on a tour with some mates on our motorbikes as a chance stop for lunch and so glad we did. Amazing food with really quick service. Also lovely views as well across the valley. Highly recommend this excellent establishment

With new owners and staff the Old Horns feels like a great country side pub come restaurant. With plenty of parking in the rear with tables as well this pub is a lively place for young, family and seniors. There are bar snacks or full seating restaurant area inside with plenty of helpful friendly staff. Katy behind the bar is the most efficient friendly bar person I've seen in a long time handling multiple customers with ease. The main entrance is a flat disabled access but more access is available via a steps from the rear carpark/ outside seating area. On the day I visited mid week around mid day the pub was full and busy but with lots of capable staff every one whether booked or walk in were handled with efficiency and friendly service. I am definitely returning with my family in the near future.

Absolutely stunning location and beautiful views over sheffield. Food and service were lovely. I would recommend booking a table if its in the evening time and you wish to sit inside, but plenty of benches outside and a lovely outdoor bar area too.

Meals are reasonable but they mark up big time on sweets and beverages! Cost £5’50 for two cups of hot water with tea bags hanging out of cups ‘ no tea pot given’ not going again !!! Rip off!

Beautiful, quaint, traditional stone house pub a short distance away from Sheffield. Spectacular scenery of the countryside from the terrace. The food was exactly what you want from a traditional pub, excellent pies with Henderson’s relish ! Large size portions, local cask and craft beer and social and friendly staff 👍

Excellent Sunday Carvery & great pub menu to accompany. Very busy established country pub with excellent beer, cider & lagers. Outside seating for food on two levels overlooking country views with outside bar ( quieter than inside ) good served up to 9pm I think the Carvery is till 5 pm but just check that time. The food quality is excellent as is the Carvery and great value compared to the current trend of pubs serving tiny portions, charging high prices and calling themselves gastro pubs!! This is a traditional pub with good portions. Competent friendly staff and well kept local beer. Dog friendly, good parking ( be it usually rammed at busy times ) great place to chill for a run out or a walking dtop off. Well worth a visit *** Amazing fish & chips!! GL aka GS

If you just want a lunchtime snack, don't order the Yorkshire pudding with Lancaster ale. It is immense and incredible value for money. Sadly, I did and felt stuffed for the entire day. Great pub. No frills, honest food for honest folk.

Food has gone downhill. Prices have increased immensely, yet quality has decreased. I had lasagne, very little meat and not much flavour, my husband had steak sandwich, very grisly, will not be going again!

4 of us visited here at 12 noon Friday. Fabulous welcome, drinks served at the table. We chose from the lunch time menu. 3 had fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was huge, moist, the batter was succulent and the chips excellent. One chose a giant bowl of chilli nachos as the main course. It was tasty, well presented and soon devoured. The staff were attentive, gave us plenty of time to decide if we wanted desserts or coffees. They have renovated some of the areas. Looked modern and very clean.

Didn't realise dogs were allowed where people eat not keen on that but everything else lovely.

Never fail to amaze me how this place can offer quality food at low prices. Low the views, food and beer. Top class and recommended to anyone!

Lovely friendly customer service, Staff helpful and attentive . Food spot on ( well done kitchen staff ) and great value for money. My daughter is gluten intolerant but wow what a choice of meals on the menu . To cap it all there’s even a view second to none should your eyes wander away from the food on your plate . Had lunch today very busy but had booked service was exellent food was exceptional and the lunch menu was a decent portion. I had pie my daughter in law had giant yorkshire pudding. The cheese cake is to die for. No complaints would definitely recommend.

Been to the horns as a party of 13 people! The staff were very friendly and the service was great! The food was amazing so tastey and cooked to perfecfion🤤 the atmosphere was great, couldn't as for anymore. The referb is amazing youve done an amazing job! I had been eagerly anticipating my visit to this place ever since it underwent a complete refurbishment, and I must say, I was not let down. The newly revamped decor and layout make the most of the stunning architecture, offering an unparalleled view of Bradfield. Moreover, our evening meal was nothing short of fantastic. Exceptional Service. I highly recommend a visit to this place.

Not been in here for food for a while. Decided to call in and so glad we did. The food was really good and the staff were great. It's a lovely traditional pub with amazing scenery, unfortunately the rain was blocking our view for some of the time. We will be back, very soon.

Came for a late lunch after the recent refurb. Once again Cassie, Jo and the team did not disappoint. We had two meals from the lunch £8 menu, plenty of delicious food, couldn't finish mine. Lovely staff great atmosphere

Went for Sunday lunch after reopening. We were seated upstairs where there was an extremely strong smell of paint. I opted for the carvery as it looked nice. Sadly that's where it stopped. Yorkshire puddings were stone cold. Took 3 attempts to get a hot one and then it was lukewarm. Getting back to our table the whole meal was barely warm at best and had to have it microwaved to get it hot. Husband had a burger said it was ok but chips undercooked. Overall very disappointing will not be rushing back again

Had a fabulous meal here. Plenty of real tasty food and good portions. The service was excellent. The recent refurb is excellent too. Wonderful ambience. We shall be coming again very soon.

Whilst visiting family during our vacation, we traveled to the wonderful town of High Bradfield. It is the epitome of an old English village in the countryside! We stopped for lunch at this charming bar/restaurant, and we're greeted by the friendliest people. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the quaint interior and breathtaking views that the Old Horns Inn has to offer. We even took a walk around the area and visited the church behind the Inn. It's absolutely stunning. Add this spot to your travel plans, and you'll be so happy you did!

Fabulous food, at times too much though. Chilli banquet today, it was beautiful but too much. Why serve with rice, chips, nachos and ciabata? One too many carbs. I have given 5 stars as it's not a complaint, just seems a waste of food.

Great food, large portions, fantastic atmosphere, very welcoming to 2 and four legged customers, good choices for Vegetarians.

I booked for a party 6 the food was very good the service was also good the thing I don't like here is when you have had your food and they have taken your money they ask you to leave saying they need the table and for this reason I will never return

We came to try the Sunday carvery and it was beautiful! Meat was lovely and tender and very generous with the portion. Roast potatoes literally fell apart in your mouth 🤤 and the Cauliflower cheese 👌 perfection! We definitely want to go back to try the normal menu as the options look really good. After our carvery we went to sit outside with a drink. Plenty of tables and the view were beautiful. Small park for kids to play on, bonus.

Lovely food in a lovely setting. Massive portions great staff and very reasonable. Will definitely go again soon. Returned again today Monday 13th April and again still busy but just as nice and such great value!

I've often had to wait a few minutes for a table but no wonder given the meals on offer, it's always busy. The food arrives quickly and represents good value. And let's not forget the fantastic view. Most days there's a special menu: steak, pie, fish... There are some low cost options too, of course the portions are on the small side but still great value at the price. The choice of beers includes regional real ales.

Great choice, food was tasty, plentiful and excellent value for money. Serving staff were friendly and attentive.

Service was good, items on menu marked incorrectly. Didn’t say what each meal was when brought out and people got wrong orders. One burger was really spicy, they changed the description. One order came not with requests we’d asked for, they weren’t interested. Chips, well don’t get me started, they had salted them in the kitchen and they were so salty. Won’t be visiting for a while. Really disappointed and very pricey.

As I live in the next village I know the Horns very well as a fantastic place to eat with great atmosphere and child and dog friendly.

After hearing good reviews about this place I thought I would give it a try, the food was ok nothing special, there menu is very broad with plenty of choice, I had the fish and chips with peas which was abit tasteless in my opinion, the chips were quite hard and the fish wasn't anything special but it was a passable meal, it was a very fast service for the food so good credit for that, have to give to this place if you like a outside drink with a view in the sun it's definitely a 10/10 place, I'll give it another try at somepoint and see what something else is like meal wise.

I have been here multiple times and really enjoyed the food. Recently been here with my 2 sisters for her birthday. We ordered of the £8 menu which we have always done and was always good value for money. 2 of us had the lasagne which was very poor I didn't see no pasta or much meat and it was the smallest portion I have ever had. I was so disappointed and hungry still so was my sister it wasn't very good and has put me of from coming here again.

Food was nice, we had to the deals a starter and main for £12. I was expecting them to be a kids size was surprised it as bigger then expected. The service was poor we went in to be pointed to our table with words of it's up there on Ur right. I am bit funny with dogs aswell. It's nice that places are dog friendly but for me watching the staff playing hugging dog then bringing my food over without washing my hands was not what I expect from any food place. This is just very poor food hygiene.

We ordered a double bacon cheese burger. It took a while and looked great but the burger was dry and chewy, the bacon not crispy and the cheese slice sad and plastic. The coleslaw was amazing and the onion rings out of this world. We might have visited on a busy day but a little disappointed. Ps the chips were good.

Our first visit to the Old Horns Inn - it was truly amazing. We visit lots of pubs and are very picky with food and service, but we have to say that that was the best meal we’ve had for a very long time. The homemade pie, both the lamb and also the beef was beautiful, all homemade with home cooked chips. The staff were very polite and efficient and without a doubt we’ll definitely be returning. The views on the back are wonderful, which we cannot wait to see in the summer. Good pubs with fantastic food are hard to come by, but we strongly recommend this place. 😊

Awesome country pub, brilliant views

We were seated in the carvery side where we had to try and get round the queues for carvery to our seats. I ordered calamari which definitely came frozen and a 'can't believe it' burger which was dry, flavourless and very over priced. I think the burger itself was supposed to be buttermilk 'chicken' but I'm fairly certain it was a frozen patty. I'd have sent it back if the waitress hadn't waited until we were more than half way through and it wasn't a family event. Safe to say we've taken the Old Horn off the list of pubs we would eat at.

The food was delicious and the staff were polite and friendly but seeing them sat at the bar like customer's is unprofessional at best, petting and feeding a customers dog and not washing you're hands before serving the next customer is not nice

From the lunchtime menu, the amount and tastiness of food is excellent value.

My wife and i went for lunch today 13th feb, my wife ordered liver and onions with a giant yorkshire pudding and veg, when it came it had 3 very small pieces of liver in and i mean small, we were upstairs so it was a good 10 minutes before the waitress came back up i pointed it out to her so she went back to the kitchen snd told the chef, we said we could have a free tea or coffee, that is not good service and has left me feeling very disappointed as weve been there a few times, wont be rushing back

Lasagna was dry and had no taste and the chips were cold . Won't be eating here again but would have a drink in the summer it has a nice beer garden

Good selection of ale. The best from nearby Bradfield Brewery, which every ale drinker will love. Although the food looked and smelled great, we were looking for a cosy tradition pub which this is not. Certainly looks like it from the outside however the inside is more modern with big screen TV's showing football. Bit of a let down considering the setting of the pub.

Oh no! A once lovely pub has been turned into a rural McDonalds. Beer selection was good but pricey. 5 TV screens completely ruined the atmosphere. When will they realise that many people want to get away from screens and rolling news channels?

A very nice pub, with a country feel. Scenic views of the surrounding valley. A friendly, smily welcome as soon as we arrived. Attentive & helpful staff. All the food that was being brought out looked very nice & the staff were busy keeping up with orders. Our food arrived within 20 - 25 minutes ( shows that nothing is being banged in a microwave ). All the meals were well presented & portions are generous. Reyt dirty burger with proper chips ( check out the menu for what's in this big burger ). Limited car parking spaces, but found one without a problem. I recommend The Old Horns Inn for a quick bite or a leisurely pint after a walk.

Had a lovely pub lunch here. Reasonable prices and a good selection on the menu. Had a stroll along to the church after our lunch just to help it go down nicely. Staff were very polite and attentive.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, service was fantastic and the staff were friendly, the food was delightful and they were very accommodating for our 1 year old, overall very pleased and will definitely be coming back if we are ever back on holiday up this way!
