Teníamos comidas encantadoras para llevar desde aquí. Todo recién cocinado, gran masa y porciones muy generosas. Preciosa salsa de curry afrutado. Sin duda recomendaría y volvería.

Service was excellent by friendly, attentive staff. We sat in the bar area and felt it had a nice atmosphere and decor. We ordered the steak and the steak and ale pie, both were lovely. Then for pudding we had sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fondant, my partner thought the sticky toffee pudding was excellent! Slightly on the pricy side but we didn’t mind paying it as the location, service and quality of food was really good.

Thinking back on our recent trip to Hawes, there are many things that stand out in the Yorkshire Dales, but one in particular keeps drawing us back time and time again, the Wensleydale Pantry. What a wonderful find this was. Lovely friendly staff, excellent service and proper home cooked food. We were in Hawes for a week and ate there each night, with never a thought to go anywhere else. Jelly and ice cream, need I say more! We'll be back in Hawes later in the year, see you soon.

Excellent food and great hospitality. We were visiting the area on a staycation and drove past the day before. Our daughter was joining us for the day so I rang to see the latest time we could order food for lunch. Ade was very attentive. Made to feel comfortable, as if we had been regulars for years. We ate off the light bite menu and had a main and a desert, both were very tasty! We will certainly be going again when we are next over that way ! Bonus as dog friendly too!

Stayed overnight in our Motorhome in the car park. Great little location no far off A66. £20 for the night which is credited to your food and/or drinks bill. Very welcoming, dogs welcome and excellent food and beer at a good price. The view is really breathtaking and we will certainly attempt to book in the next time our calendar/trip aligns. Space for 2 outfits.

Fabulous superior room, gorgeous furniture, amazing space including private garden. Service second to none - we will be coming back and would highly recommend 👌

What a gorgeous, welcoming pub/restaurant this is! Recommend by East Witton Shepard’s hut whereby it has absolutely lived up to its positive reputation! Alf could not have done enough for us, checking and refilling our drinks with the most attentive and kind service, thank you so much! Will travel 3 hours for this again anyday!!

Popped in for a quiet drink & catch up with friends….OMG, it was like stepping back in time. Aged, incapacitated locals trying to relive their youth. Not a good place for visitors to the area, especially if you want to hold a conversation, far too noisy, wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed at the B&B. Perfect stop before resuming our much (covid) delayed Pennine way walk. Friendly, welcoming host, comfortable room with great views, great breakfast, will stay again if we're back in Hawes.

After reading great reviews I called in here on Monday March 27 2023 looking for lunch. Very pleasant and polite member of staff informed me that the restaurant is no longer open to serve daytime meals since they shut at the the end of last season

Sat in alleyway due to having a small dog. Felt damp and cold place needs a good clean with cobwebs on pipework ...menu was wet with what looked like water leaking through makeshift roof with spray foam to seal it ... Homemade burger was basic very firm and dry not much flavour...dosent even come with chips they are another £3 for oven chips ..as pic ... Large cappuccino £4.50 ? Restaurant prices with basic quality food ...wouldn't recommend

You have to visit, do not drie by without stopping and experiencing this Inn. We were amazed at the menu choices and quality of the food and service second to none. Great Family friendly restaurant and pub full of character and friendly staff.

Opens early for papers and such a handy shop. Parking quite handy. Askrigg is fortunate to have such a local shop

We were the only people staying in the Kearton, and we were renting the 2 bed apartment. The owners could not have been anymore helpful. Didnt sample any food, but have visited many times and have always found it lovely
