Popped in whilst looking for a quick lunch. Very unusual setting for a tea room but works well with about 10 tables set up between the pews & the altar. The pews act as an overflow area if all tables are taken but we arrived as one was being vacated. Very friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere and excellent value for money. Menu is limited to a choice of rolls, soup and a tempting range of homemade cakes & scones. Rolls could have improved if pickle, mustard or mayonnaise had been offered but the cakes & scones made up for this as they were very nice. The church itself is a delightful building and worth a visit in it’s own right. An interesting alternative lunch option.

We've been wanting to try this place for ages.Booked it online, really easy too.The pub has a great vibe to it when you first go in.There are tables outside with heatlamps on and were quite busy for a Thursday night. We were given a table in the window which was really nice and the restaurant has a very art decor like feel to it.There was a few people in dining which added to the ambience. The staff were very polite and efficient. No complaints about the food either.Good value for the quality and surroundings.Would deffo go back.Thankyou.

Great breakfast as always however, the highlight was one of the members of staff who originated from Sao Paolo Brazil (sorry didn't get her name) who was a font of knowledge on the local area and truly adores living there. We appreciated her time and we will be visiting a few of her recommendations. A truly lovely, kind and thoughtful lady 👍

This was the nearest pub to our hotel which we visited because the hotel only served bottled beers. What an interesting place this is, the gas lights on the bar, the barrels in the wall, the olde world look! A friendly barman keen to answer my questions about the pubs history. He had a pre printed sheet with some incredibly interesting information on it. Had a nice couple of pints of Theakston's bitter, before it ran out and some good conversation with a local whose dog had brought him here!! An old intriguing pub believed to be the oldest in Harrogate, worth the visit.

Weetons Food Hall…. Went for breakfast .. after waiting almost an hour a cold fatty bacon sandwich and cold eggs benedict arrived! Chased the food and was told it was on its way - it arrived 15 minutes later. When I complained about the service and food as I was a paying the £40 bill I was told “yes, I agree, I’d suggest complaining online”…. So here you go…. Don’t be taken in by the high prices and appealing location … the service and food are truly appalling …
