Needed some takeaway sandwiches and had read that Thug were the best, plus they do gluten free options. We got a gluten free curried chicken and a 'normal' KFCaesar sandwich. Both were delicious and crammed full of filling. The gluten free bread was also very good.

Great cafe. Lovely food. Very good coffee. Nice staff. Dogs welcome. You can sit inside or out. Well worth a visit - you don’t have to be a cyclist!

Last weekend, we were recommended to try Vanilli’s Artisan 🍨at Harrogate– and it was incredible! We tried the Oreo & Vanilla and the Salted Caramel & Belgian Chocolate – which really amazed me because the combination of rich Belgian chocolate and sweet-salty caramel was magic. They also have dairy-free options, soya, coconut, sorbet.🍧 Vanilli’s is tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s a hidden gem you’ll want to find. Get there early though , especially on the European Artisanal Gelato Day on 24 March– flavours sell out fast! By fishenjoylife

This was one of my favourite bars in Harrogate, I was gutted when I heard it had closed. The staff here were fantastic and always made me feel welcome. I will have to go over to Leeds or York to try the cozy bars there from now on, so I hope to see some of you in the near future! All the best. Matt

Unwelcoming, kurt! Nice place, would benefit from more friendly staff & actually acknowledge customers on entry. Staff far too busy on their phones & then selves…. Would we go back? No, not really, much more welcoming places around & plenty o& them & all offering the same pastries & drinks ….

We had a voucher from Travelzoo and so on Thursday we girded our loins and took the risk. the staff were very sensible and seated everyone as far apart as possible and kept their contact to a minimum. The food was great and very well displayed. The haddock smokie with egg was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection. The Harrogate sticky toffee pudding was sweet but not sickly A very enjoyable evening. Let's hope the virus doesn't spoil this resurant.

We have had dinner here that was lovely so decided to try the Sunday lunch. It is quite a limited menu with only one 'roast' option that is actually braised brisket that was nice and tender. Came with nice selection of vegetables and a jug of delicious gravy on the side. One of the few choices is fish and chips, strange for a Sunday and i think they should have another roast option or steak pie/lamb shank etc. instead. Desserts were very nice 😋

An amazing tea room with a warm inviting reception from the staff members. An ample choice of savory bites to stunning sweet treats, this is definitely worth a visit. The afternoon tea was delicious and filling. Generous portions of home cooked food, this gem of a tea room will not disappoint.

Popped in whilst looking for a quick lunch. Very unusual setting for a tea room but works well with about 10 tables set up between the pews & the altar. The pews act as an overflow area if all tables are taken but we arrived as one was being vacated. Very friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere and excellent value for money. Menu is limited to a choice of rolls, soup and a tempting range of homemade cakes & scones. Rolls could have improved if pickle, mustard or mayonnaise had been offered but the cakes & scones made up for this as they were very nice. The church itself is a delightful building and worth a visit in it’s own right. An interesting alternative lunch option.
