The best restaurants serving British food in Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

Best fish and chips I’ve had in years - and there are some good ones in Doncaster but this beats all of them, really delicious. Very friendly staff as well.

Had an afternoon tea from Moorends cafe today and it was fabulous! Great value for money and tasted delicious one of the best we’ve had! Will be ordering again ⭐️

Food was shockingly poor and wasn’t very nice. The gravy was way too watery and had no flavour. The mushy peas was stale and solid, the fish wasn’t great as well. The chocolate brownie was the worst I’ve ever tasted in 25 years. Overpriced for what they give you. The only nice part was the glass of coke I had.

Great restaurant, the food is excellent. It's nice that the menu changes as we are regular customers now. Best to book.

Sin duda una joya de Doncaster! Hemos venido varias veces y hemos caminado por diferentes rutas para llegar aquí. Cada visita es maravillosa. Personal amable, comida encantadora y hace que sea un día tan especial pero de bajo mantenimiento con la familia. Puntos de bonificación para el dog friendly de la cafetería. Yo no tengo hijos, pero siempre veo a los niños disfrutando en la pequeña área de juegos con pequeños tractores y juguetes. Los desayunos son geniales! Y los diferentes pasteles que ofrecen siempre ganan.

El café está situado al final de una calle tranquila de la pequeña ciudad. Desde fuera parece pequeño, pero hay un montón de asientos en el interior. el interior estaba limpia, aunque la decoración es un poco anticuado. Alguien que venga a nuestra mesa para sugerir varios menús para ese día. Había un menú escrito disponible también para una mayor variedad de comidas, aperitivos y para las bebidas frías y calientes lista. No nos tuvimos que esperar una hora determinada para nuestra comida pero, cuando llegamos nos quedamos muy impresionados con la cantidad de la comida en el plato, elegimos menú inglés de desayuno y esto incluía 4 tostadas ( gruesas rebanadas). Buena comida sana. Cuando fui al baño para lavarse las manos que realmente me gustó el perfume del jabón utilicé y sólo mencionar que el propietario como fui dijo: " ¿quieres algunos" me respondió bien ¿cuánto? Ella dijo, I;m lo que le da a usted! 4 bares de jabones en la ganga. bien no me lo podía creer!

Paid £8.30 for a salad to takeaway, after hearing the price I thought this salad could be pretty special. Anyway after receiving something I’d feed my guinea pig with, the third of a 99p crunchy salad from Asda a boiled egg and the most dry chicken I’ve ever tasted, I feel like calling the police for daylight robbery. I understand inflation and price costs but £8.30 for that is scandalous, safe to say I’d not use it again.

La comida y las bebidas eran sabrosas y con buena relación calidad-precio. Comimos fajitas de hamburguesa y pollo con una ensalada adicional. Las comidas no tardaron mucho. Gran servicio del personal ocupado. Estábamos sentados al lado de una ventana que estaba llena de telarañas, ligeramente fuera de lugar.

Visited here as part of a bottomless pizza and movies event. Food was tasty, entertainment great and the staff are super warm and welcoming.

Nos alojamos en la habitación Queen Victoria / suite por 2 noches para hijo / nuera boda (agosto, 17 2024 ). Fue un lugar maravilloso para la boda, piensa Victoriano - casa señorial gótica con un ambiente peculiar y encanto que es único para las antiguas casas de campo inglesas. Tenga en cuenta que esta es una casa antigua y tiene algunas peculiaridades con la fontanería - por lo que si usted tiene un complejo de perfección que es claramente más de un tipo lodge de viaje! El personal fue encantador, servicial, paciente y en general fabuloso; también fueron atentos y proactivos en la atención de cualquier problema y solicitud. Muy recomendable. A group of ten of us booked a table to celebrate my birthday. On the day we received a call to say that the boiler had broken and therefore the restaurant couldn't open. However, they pulled out all the stops to make sure our evening was not ruined. They re-seated us in a private dining room in the Hilton hotel next door and the chef, waiting staff, menus etc all came across too. Essentially it was exactly the same just sat in a different dining room. The menu had some lovely choices on there and every single meal was both delicious and well presented. The staff could not have been more attentive and attention was paid to every detail. Huge thanks to all the staff for making sure my birthday celebration could continue to go ahead, and for making it a great evening. I would highly recommend.
