The Maple Tree in Doncaster

Excellent venue in terms of family and dog friendliness. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the food. Good selection of beers. Sadly, the car park is a tip strewn with discarded cans, bottles, pint glasses, a spare wheel and a fridge carcass.

I was thoroughly impressed by the service provided by our waitress Ivy. She was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening.

Called for tea with my daughter this evening. We had pepperoni pizza & a burger with sides. The pizza was fabulous...proper fresh dough and tasty toppings. Everything was superb & we recieved fab friendly service with a smile from Ruby. The surroundings were lovely and clean. I would highly recommend, many thanks Maple Tree staff we will certainly return 😀

ruby was great and friendly bringing everything over we needed with a little conversation aboit how good the sticky maple pugs in blankets were regulars here and the food and atmospheres always great

Disappointed but it was Sunday teatime and there were not many staff on duty so it was very slow. Will try again at a different time as the food was ok

As usual, the food was good and a reasonable price. This visit I was disappointed by the fact there was no decaffeinated coffee or mint tea available. The staff didn't seem particularly bothered that they could not meet our requirements. Just a short "no, we don't have any." Never mind, we drove down to Costa Lakeside after eating

We've always enjoyed visiting The Maple Tree. The menu is much more diverse than some of the typical pubs and having the pizza oven makes such a big difference to the dough balls and pizza! We do miss the blue cheese dough balls though :) Beyond the menu we always find the staff welcoming, polite, helpful and efficient. Harrison who waited on us today is no exception. A credit to the team there. Typically reviews tend to highlight bad service as a warning, but it is a pleasure to be able to commend wonderful service . If you find yourself in the area, please drop by, you won't be disappointed!

Maisy was really welcoming from us walking in, ordering food and the table service. The food was great and it was brought out in good time, Maisy was able to answer all the questions we had and made the experience memorable. She is a true asset.

We were served by a lovely young girl called Maisy who was happy smilie and very professional. She even remained calm when a rude gentleman was shouting about the time it takes to get served . Well done Maisy.

Enjoyed a family meal today, for 6 people, at the maple tree. I asked for a specific table in a quiet corner and was accommodated. I asked for some minor tweaks on the menu and again they obliged. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will be back again soon!!

A lovely pub and the staff are lovely, especially Ivy who looked after us when we had our meal.

Service excellent, food excellent. Pleasant atmosphere. The manager served us and she was brilliant to talk to (can't remember her name). I'd highly recommend this pub to eat out. It's family friendly and I have to say, their steaks are beautiful. Serving times were within 20 minutes of ordering which I think is outstanding considering the quality. Came in on Sunday for a Sunday roast and was served by maisy who was very chatty and was very knowledgeable, we had an allergy in our party and maisy went above and beyond she had so much knowledge about it and it made the person in out group feel so much better, the food and atmosphere was incredible. Popped in with my little dog absolutely fantastic place, Staff are super helpful and attentive, food is delicious and the dog enjoyed his dog biscuit from the doggy bar plus they have there own doggy menu, What a cracking place for all the family to visit for food and drink & socialising.

We arrived with small kids who were excited to use the park and the play room in maple trea. Sitting close to that ment the adults could relax whilst the kids are occupied. We were able to easily order food and drink and enjoy the atmosphere

We visited here a few days ago for a birthday and we were stunned, the staff were super polite and the food was very nice. We spend around £60 and got our food quite quickly, the place wasn’t that busy so we enjoyed a nice quiet afternoon, we got our food from maisy, she was excellent, doubled checked our food was okay and she definitely knew her stuff lol! Came in for Sunday lunch yesterday, was served by Maisy on the bar who was very chatty and knowledgeable on the menu and the drinks. Food came out hot and fast, we were served by the two young girls named Connie & Ruby, both girls were very pleasant and nothing was too much hassle. Having been regular visitors for sometime now, we have always found the Maple Tree to be popular with families, friendly and efficient staff, a varied menu and good food.

Food was fairly good, service was poor with dishes coming to the table 20 minutes apart, and some didn't arrive at all. Toilets were pretty gross, paddling through urine is not great, and the smell was atrocious

Lovely pub. Went for a last minute father's day meal and it was a great find. Will visit again.
